ERZA's POV

I SIGH before I pushed my glasses back on a proper place. It's almost four thirty in the afternoon, and the coffee shop has a few customers at this moment which really gave me time to have read the book that I borrowed to Lucy. Every Thursday I always went here to have my favorite strawberry cake and of course to have some peaceful mind after having hard time in student council.

The coffee shop is called 'Lavender Coffee Shop' it was near at my school and my apartment so I don't have any problem of over staying in this place. The coffee shop itself is pretty cute too and I'm sure that Lucy and Levy will love this place too. The wall are painted into a pastel pink and covered in photos of perfectly decorated of cakes and coffees. The front of the coffee shop was made of a glass which you can see those students passing by. 

I heard someone clear his throat in my back so when I turned my head to look at it. I was shock and I almost fainted when I saw his eyes looking at me - I open my mouth to say something but I can't find my own words so I decided to close it and just flustered my tight smile.

"Hi Erza," he gently said causing me to held my breathe "Would you mind if I join you?"

I clear my throat before I nodded to him. A frowned embedded into his face so I felt like I'm acting like an idiot in front of him, "You can seat, Jellal. I really don't mind" I murmured almost like a whisper.

"Thanks" he murmur before he asked for a waiter to borrow the menu. I just watch every moves that he makes and I'm starting to wonder why he's alone in this place. Usually in this hour, he will stay to watch the practice of his girlfriend, "Erza are you alright? You've been looking at me or rather you are spacing out"

I blush "I'm just thinking of something," I clear my throat before I continue "What are you doing here? Are you alone? Or you're just waiting for your girlfriend"

Jellal laugh "What's wrong of being here?"

"There's nothing wrong with you being here, Jellal" I say "What I meant is, why are you alone?"

He look at me in the eye before he gave me a sad smile "Well, I'm not alone" he say which makes me frowned "You are here, Erza"

Jellal put his arm on the table and let his chin rested on his palm while looking at the students passing by the coffee shop "Lisanna and I broke up, Erza" he murmurs almost like a whisper.

I stared on him for a couple of seconds before I digest what he had said to me. A frowned embedded into my face as I studied his face "Why?" I murmur.

"Lisanna told me that she just using me for fame," he averted his eyes to those student passing by and met my gaze "I don't even know what to felt right now."

"Jellal… I-I… I don't know what to say" I says as I bit my lower lips "I don't know how to make you feel better"

Jellal chuckle before he tucks my hair behind my ear "Thank you, Erza but I guess staying here with you lessen the pain"

"I don't think I help you" I says.

"Yes you did"

We just stare on each other as if were just the only people in the coffee shop. My heart is hammering inside me like any moment it can be explode. I felt my phone vibrating inside my pocket and that's the cue to break our eye contact. I looked at the ID caller and a frowned embedded into my face when I saw Lucy Heartfilia calling me.

"Hello" I says the moment I answer her call.

"Hi Erza, where are you?" She asked me "Levy chan is asking if you are going here in the airport"

I glance over my wrist watch "Shoot! I almost forgot. I'll be there okay" I say as I started to fix my things "It's six thirty the flight right?"

"Yeah, see you later" She said before turning off our call.

I look at him whose impatiently looking at me "I'm sorry, Jellal… but I have to go"

"Where will you go?" He asked me frowning.

"I just need to go in the airport," I say as I grabbed my things and was about to go when he grab my hand preventing me to go "I'm sorry Jellal, but I really have to go" I murmured.

"Erza…" he started.

I DON'T have any choice but to bring him with me. He doesn't want me to go alone and he insisted that I need someone who will bring me here in the airport. But, what really make me confuse is how he take cares of me right now.

A smile formed into my lips when I saw Lucy and Natsu having argument about something and from the looks of it - Lucy is really pissed off while Natsu is really amused. On the other hand,  Levy is just looking at them like she doesn't know what to do about them.

I clear my throat before I called their names "Erza" Lucy smile widely beforw waving her hands to me. 

Natsu frowned the moment his eyes landed on the guy besides me "What took you so long?" He asks me "And what is he doing here?"

"Well, Jellal has nothing to do right now and he decided to come along" I say not sure on what I'm going to say.

"Is there something wrong with me being here, Natsu?" Jellal asked him

He open his mouth to say something but eventually close it when I saw Lucy grab his hand. Wow, I never knew that Natsu were capable of stopping himself from talking nonsense.

We say our 'goodbyes'  to Levy chan and watched her take her step away from us. I wonder when will I see her again. I surely gonna miss her.

"So Erza, would you like to have a dinner with us before we go home?" Lucy ask me.

I shook my head "I'm sorry, Lucy but Juvia will come in my apartment this night. I can't stay long outside"

"Oh" her lips formed into a small 'o' before she look at her boyfriend and pouted.

"Maybe next time, Lucy" he said before gently pat Lucy's head.

AFTER Lucy and Natsu dropped us near at my apartment. Jellal and I decided to have a walk in the playground were we usually go before he had a girlfriend.

"Erza?"

"Yes?" I say without looking at him.

"Why you never tried to have a boyfriend or date someone?" He asked me which makes me look at his face.

I swallowed that imaginary food that I have in my throat before I gave him a nervous laugh "Why did you asked that question?"

"I'm just curious, I guess" he said shrugging his shoulder.

I stares on his eyes before I gave him a sad smile "I'm in love with someone, Jellal" I murmurs "But he doesn't feel the same way."

"What?"

"I guess, he's an idiot for not realizing how much I love him. Or maybe... I was the one who's being an idiot for not able to confessed my feelings towards him"

"But why?"

I laugh "What do you mean why?"

"Why you didn't confess, Erza?"

"Do I need too?" I inhale sharply before I stretch my arms and smile "I don't need to do it because I do know for myself that I will never be enough for him"

"You don't know what you are talking about, Erza" he said before he reach my hand and made me look at his eyes "You are more than enough"

"Then why did you forget about me, Jellal?" My questions caught him off guard so I continue "You just ignore me after having a girlfriend. You made me feel that I wasn't enough"

"I-I..."

"I was your friend since childhood," a tear escaped from my lips but still I manage to smile in front of him "It almost feels like you rejected me as a friend"

"I'm sorry, Erza" he said sincerely.

"It's okay" I whisper "I understand you" I smile "I have to go now. Just take care, Jellal"

My eyes got widen when he did what I never I expected he do. Jellal just planted a soft kiss in my forehead "I'm sorry if I forget about you. Back then, I just want to focus on her. To make her feel how much I love her"

Wow, I haven't confessed my feelings towards him and he just reject me.

"Its okay, Jellal, I understand"

I'VE been crying for I don't know how long. I wanted to tell to my friends about what just happened but then I'm sure that they can't understand how it feels like being rejected.

Without even thinking I posted in my facebook what I feel.

Even though I felt bad about being rejected I can't help but smile because of my friends.

I laugh... I really like how they act on each other. Its almost like they love to fight on each other but never leaving each other side.
