The next morning, everyone gathered at the police station. Mr and Mrs Park where present as well. Detective Chan and his men where already preparing to leave. Jimin and Taehyung insisted on going with them but the detective hesitated against it.

"I'm sorry but you can't go. This is going to be a very dangerous operation"

He sighed. "We did more digging and we discovered Mrs Kim isn't an ordinary woman. She's the leader of a criminal underground mob that deals in the transport of drugs....as in hard drugs and heavy ammunitions"

"She isn't the kind of person to be trifled with"

Jimin shook his head determinedly. "I don't care who she is. She has my son and I can't sit idly by. I'm too anxious to stay back so no matter what you say, I'm going with you"

"Me too...." Taehyung added

Jimin stared at him worriedly "Are you sure? You aren't feeling that well Taehyung"

"I'm fine Jimin. I can hang on" Taehyung answered.

"Please, you have to be careful and stay out of the scene. I don't want to have to be responsible for you both" Detective Chan said.

Jimin and Taehyung readily agreed.

Mintae was curled up on Jungkook's laps asleep when the noise from the door being opened interrupted him. The man with the dragon tattoo entered with a deep set frown on his face.

"Hey kid get up! The mistress wants to see you!" He said.

Jungkook and his brother where already awake and looked at the man with apprehension. Mintae swallowed hard and walked slowly to the man.

"What does she want with him?" Jungkook yelled loudly.

The man shrugged with anger on his face. "How should I know? I don't know why she doesn't just get rid of all of you already" He grunted and grabbed Mintae by the arm before shutting the door with a bang, bolting it and leading the boy away.

They finally arrived at a small garden filled with all types of plants and flowers. Kim Cha ha was seated on a chair with a casual smile playing on her lips. She was dressed moderately in white as she sprinkled some seeds on the ground for some pretty birds to peck on. She looked the image of a calm peaceful woman but in reality, that was far from her true nature.

She turned her head and when she saw him, smiled. It almost seemed like it was a dream he dreamt yesterday when he saw her heartlessly shoot a man like it was second nature to her. She really scared him but he couldn't let her know.

"Come sit beside me!" She said in a calm tone.

Mintae walked over and sat on the empty seat beside her. She gestured to the man to leave. After bowing, he walked away. She smiled.

"You really must be traumatized after what I did yesterday" she started.

Mintae said nothing. She nodded her head. "I understand....you must be angry. I didn't want to do that but you touched a sensitive spot"

Mintae sighed. "It doesn't matter whether you apologize or not. You still want to kill me, uncle jk and his brother"

She hid a smile. "True but there must always be balance in this world you know"

Suddenly, she froze upon hearing commotion outside the compound. Several gun shots where fired repeatedly. Sounds of cries filled the air.

"They are here" Kim Cha ha said with a crazy hint in her eyes.

The man with the dragon tattoo rushed back in with alarm. He looked extremely terrified.

"Mistress! They are here! The police are here! How did they find out where we where"

Cha ha glanced at Mintae. "Have you forgotten? It's the kid!"

The man shook his head. "But we should have ran away. Where you waiting for them to find us?"

She grinned saying nothing. The man stared at her as though she had lost her mind.

"Are you crazy?"

She scoffed eyeing him dangerously "What did you just say to me?"

The man didn't care and yelled hardly. "You have risked the lives of your men who follow you. Risked my life countless times but i've had enough. I think I have paid off every debt I owe you. Thanks for picking me up from the gutters and taking care of me but I'm done. If you want to stay here suit yourself!"

He was about to run off when he heard a click sound behind him. He knew exactly what was happening now. He turned around and smiled cautiously.

"I'm the only one you have left Cha ha. Do you really want to kill me?"

Cha ha laughed. "Funny how someone changes when they're at the brink of death. Weren't you just about to abandon me and run off by yourself?"

The man laughed nervously. "Don't do this Cha ha. I have done so much for you, you know that"

"It's because of that I still kept you by my side even after you disappointed me again and again, unable to do one simple thing. Kill Taehyung!"

There was cold silence. They could hear several voices behind them.

"Over here!" Mintae suddenly screamed. That was enough to distract Cha ha giving the man enough time to escape but he wasn't that lucky because just as he was about to run, his path was blocked by a group of men walking towards him pointing their guns at him.

"Don't move! You are sorrounded!" Detective Chan who was standing at the fore front said in a loud voice.

The man cursed under his breath and shifted back raising his hands in the air. They entered the garden and when Kim Cha ha saw them, she redirected her gun at Mintae. Jimin and Taehyung who where behind the officers all these while rushed out in a panic. Upon seeing them especially Taehyung, her features hardened.

"Don't come closer or I will blow off his head"

"Please Cha ha let him go!" Jimin cried.

"Shut the hell up trans whore!"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Taehyung said.

"I have the power here Taehyung. Keep talking and you'll see what happens next" Cha ha said as she pulled the trigger.

"Kim Cha ha, put down your weapon! You're already sorrounded. You can't escape. Don't make things worse for yourself" Detective Chan said in a threatening tone.

"I'm sorry.... can't do that! If I do drop my weapon, it's not going to end well for me now, will it?" Cha ha said with a smug smile.

She watched as the man with the the dragon tattoo was handcuffed before she smiled with a faraway look in her eyes. "I'm going to tell you a little story about me"

"We don't care to know about your story! Hands on your head now!" Detective Chan said in a deathly tone but she ignored him and continued.

"You see, when I was a little girl, I was always reminded that I was less than a man. I had two older brothers but I was always looked down upon because of my gender"

She laughed coldly. "I couldn't understand. The only thing those two had where their pretty faces and their witty words but I had the brains. I handled all my father's illegal dealings behind the scenes. I took charge of the business, learned how to dirty my hands for the sake of my family. Learned how to shoot a gun at age thirteen. Covered for my worthless father many times than I could count....still, in the end, he chose those two over me"

"I lived a double life. During the day, I was the innocent spoilt princess of Hwangjan group but at night, I was the ruthless last child of a drug king pin"

She looked at Taehyung and smiled. "Do you know why I was friends with your mother?"

She opened and closed her eyes quickly "It was because she kept me grounded. I was drawn by her innocence and I felt that with her by my side, I wouldn't stray too far, that i could still keep my facade going without anyone suspecting me"

"I was still in college when my father suddenly announced he was retiring and handing the business over to my oldest brother while my second brother would be assisting him"

Her face twisted. "Those two good for nothings who did nothing but idle away their time with women. My second brother even impregnated his maid"

She chuckled bitterly " while I on the other hand got my hands dirty and did things they couldn't even dream of doing. I kept the business afloat only for me to be treated in such a manner. I couldn't stand by and do nothing so i did what had to be done"

She was quiet for a moment, her eyes wandering from side to side. She bit her lips hard and grinned.

"Because I had control over the underground business, I was able to stage an assassination plan. This assassination plan killed my two brothers on their way to a business conference. My father heard of it and was heartbroken especially after finding out I was responsible but there was nothing he could do. I already controlled the underground business and had many supporting me. It wasn't long before he died too committing suicide after battling with depression"

Taehyung was disgusted. "Didn't you feel guilty?"

Kim Cha ha laughed. "Why would I feel guilty? They all deserved it! My father and especially those two idiotic brothers of mine"

Everyone shivered at this woman's cruelty. If she could kill her own brothers, who couldn't she kill? The woman interrupted his thoughts with her words again.

"Once in control of everything, I needed to find a strong hold. I needed to find a more legitimate strong hold especially since the authorities started to catch wind of the true business hidden underneath the covers. My target was your father Kim Dae Soo"

Her eyes turned dreamy. "He was perfect, handsome and had a legitimate business. He had built his own empire at the age of twenty five. I just had to get him. He was the most eligible men out of all the men I had investigated. I discovered that he loved horse racing so I went to one of the games with your mother Lee So hye hoping to seduce him. I was confident in my abilities. I was elegant, seductive, beautiful whereas Lee so hye despite being pretty as well couldn't compare to me but I was wrong"

"Kim Dae Soo fell for your mother. That was when I knew I had to do something. I couldn't let everything I had worked for get ruined because of your mother's interference. So I seduced him"

Taehyung twisted his face. Cha ha laughed. "Your father was a stubborn mule but I broke him eventually. But it seemed his feelings for Lee so hye was stronger than I thought. My beauty wasn't enough to keep him even when Lee so hye found out about our affair. My saving grace was that I got pregnant"

"Finally, I had gotten what I wanted and I had your father give me a huge share of his company. When he proved difficult, I threatened him violently. That was when he discovered the kind of person I really was. Kim Dae Soo never loved me from the beginning so it wasn't difficult for him to leave me and chase after Lee so hye"

She looked bitter. "Lee so hye! I envied that woman. I envied the fact that she had nothing, yet she had everything. She had the love of Kim Dae Soo and she still maintained her innocence while I had lost my soul a long time ago. I went after her life after discovering about her affair with Dae Soo. I wanted nothing more than to destroy her. My methods worked. My husband returned to me a broken hearted man and I restrained him, pinned him under me and used my underground powers to take everything he had away from him"

"Nothing gave me happiness until I gave birth to my son Joo seok. From the moment he was born, I realized I could do anything for him. For a while I felt content. I felt like I could be good, like I could change for his sake"

Her expression had softened and her voice started to break.

"But everything changed when my husband discovered about him!"

She glared at Taehyung. "And I knew that with the appearance of this bastard, Dae Soo wouldn't favor Joo seok. Though, I handled the company, Dae Soo would have rather died than give it to me so I was quiet and I waited. I endured even after he was brought to live with me and my son"

Her eyes was filled with hate as she stared at Taehyung. "I would have long killed you if it weren't for Joo seok. In the end, no one chose me. Not my father, not my husband, not my son"

"That's because you're a very hateful person" Jimin added dryly.

Cha ha laughed. "True but they all bore the price. My father for choosing my two good for nothing brothers, my husband for choosing that whore Lee so hye. My son for choosing Taehyung who ended up killing him"

"Wrong!" The man with the dragon tattoo suddenly blurted. Everyone stared at him.

"You are the one who killed your son!"

The air became still. Kim Cha ha's eyes reddened and those eyes started to loose focus.

"Shut up!" She said through gritted teeth.

But the man continued "I was the one who set the house on fire that day. The plan was that Taehyung would be alone so Kim Cha ha sent all the staffs away. She instructed Joo seok's school teacher to keep him in school until she came to pick him up but Joo seok was stubborn and he insisted on leaving with Taehyung that day. That was how that boy met his end"

"Shut up!" Cha ha screamed.

Taehyung shook his head in anger. "You where responsible yet you always blamed me for your own mistake. You killed Joo seok not me"

"Shut up! Shut up!"

Cha ha's hands started to shake violently. Jimin was scared she would mistakenly pull the trigger

But Taehyung went on. "You where only looking for someone else to blame because you couldn't bear the thought that Joo seok's death was all your fault"

Tears mixed with snot started to fill Cha ha's face. "It wasn't my fault! It was a mistake! I didn't know that would happen. I didn't know...."

Jimin spoke cautiously "Cha ha it's over! Many people have already paid the price for your sins. Many have been killed because of your unnecessary quest for revenge. You have always been arrogant, alloof, powerful but for once in your life, you have to admit your wrong. Admit that you have gone too far and you did your family not just Jooseok wrong, you did everyone around you wrong"

Kim Cha ha's breathing became erratic as though she had finally discovered something.

Jimin went on. "You have to accept your fault and pay for them Cha ha. You owe it to your son, the one you loved more than anyone else"

Cha ha's hand shook again.

"For once in your life Cha ha, do the right thing and spare that boy"

Cha ha looked down at Mintae. Seeing his face, she  finally broke down. The gun slipped from her hand and she fell to the ground covering her face with both her hands as she wailed loudly.

"I'm sorry Joo seok, I'm sorry!" She cried.

Seeing that he was no longer in danger, Mintae ran into Jimin's outstretched arms and hugged him tightly. His father planted his face with rough kisses crying in relief.

Taehyung hugged them tightly and watched as the police took hold of Cha ha and handcuffed her.

"I admit it was all my fault. I killed my son, I killed my husband! I killed my entire family but those scars will never leave you Taehyung! They will never leave you!" She shouted before laughing like a mad woman as they escorted her out along with the her assistant.

Corpses where everywhere. Those guards who hadn't died in the shoot out where arrested while the dead bodies where gathered. Jungkook and his brother where brought out of the room they where locked up in.

Upon seeing them, Jungkook couldn't even look them in the eyes. Taehyung had nothing to say to him because even though he had no choice, he still betrayed him and put his son in harm's way. However, Jimin was gentler with the whole issue especially after seeing the state Jung Soo was in. He was barely fighting for his life.

When some ambulances arrived, Jung Soo and Jungkook went with one of them. Before they left, Jungkook turned to Taehyung with a sad smile on his face.

"I'm really sorry!"

Taehyung sighed. "We'll talk about whether I can forgive you or not after all these is over... For now, just take care of your brother" he said.

Jungkook bit his lips and left. Taehyung turned to Jimin and Mintae. For the first time in forever, the tension in his heart was gone and he felt lighter than ever now that the woman who had tortured him was going to be behind bars

"Let's go home" he whispered as he embraced the two of them in his arms.
