Welcome to Beneath the Pain! 

This section gives a simple outline of what I'll be including in this fanfiction and any other information you guys will want to know reading this book. If you like how this sounds, keep reading! If you don't, you don't have to continue. If you're unsure, give it a try. You might like it later, you might not, but hey! That's what you'll find out if you read.

Alright, let's get to it.

>>> This fanfiction is in a Work-In-Progress state but will go forward with how it is right now <<<

When I decided to return to writing this fanfiction, I realised my writing needed immense improvement. EDIT: However, I have decided that I want to see my writing progress over the years, so I'm leaving most of it be and writing with what I have. Therefore, I hope you can mind all the not-canon info and bad writing in the beginning. Things will get better, I promise.

>>> This is set after the events of Heroes of Olympus and before the events of Civil War <<<

I began writing this fanfiction after Civil War was released and after I read the Heroes of Olympus series, and because of what happened in Civil War, I decided I'd write it before any of that happened. There's a lot that's occurred since then, EDIT: and though I'd like to tweak the fic so that things are more accurate, this will turn into something else and a completely enormous project that I can't handle. For characters, there will be more coming from the Marvel universe than the Percy Jackson universe.

>>> Some characters will still be alive <<<

I won't be bringing back people like Luke, Bianca and Zoë who died plot-heavy or prophecied deaths (I really want to thoooooo) and I won't be bringing back loads of characters either. But I'll still be bringing back some characters. Not all of them will be good, though...

>>> Alternate Universe <<<

You can already tell that this is an AU where the Avengers are still complete and growing, Percy is included and the events of Magnus Chase and the Trials of Apollo have not occurred (or maybe won't ever occur). But because Percy is involved with this alternate complete Avengers, alternate events will happen. So while Percy deals with what I've written up for him, the alternate events of the movies will occur too (If I get up to them. Sequel, anyone?)

Here's what will happen:

- The disaster caused by Wanda won't happen, so there won't be an Accords or Civil War. There will still, however, be some sorts of underlying disagreement, distrust and arguments

- They will still find Bucky and discover the truth, and unfortunately, Peggy will still be gone

- The events of The Dark World and Ragnarok will happen normally, although Thor will return to Earth for a bit in between until he tries searching for the stones

- Tony will keep his tower for Stark Industries purposes as normal but won't sell it

- The events of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' will occur normally, although I'll have him around the Avengers Facility as an "Avenger-in-training" since we all need a Peter Parker in our life. He'll still be our friendly-neighbourhood Spider-Man and still have most of his appearances here

- The events of Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel will happen normally

- You'll be getting alternate events for Infinity War and Endgame!

I know this is all a lot to cram in, but just remember that I won't be writing everything for what I've listed. I'll write briefly about discovering Bucky and Peggy's death and of course, Infinity War and Endgame, so what I've listed is just stuff you guys will need to keep in mind. If you have questions, keep reading and you'll see where you can place them.

Who knows, maybe after Percy's problems, you guys might have a sequel for the Avengers' problems. ;)

As for possibilities, I've been thinking of writing a sequel or third fanfiction which includes the Harry Potter Universe. As of now, I may still be going through with it, but that depends on you guys. If you like the idea, comment with 'Yes' or some other form of agreement, and if not, you can suggest any other sequel ideas. If you think I should keep just this one fanfic, then you can comment that if you like.
