As the Questers rested Bendy noticed that Cuphead was missing. He looked around but didn't see him. He stretched his ears out and one twitched as it picked up a sound. He trotted over to the noise and looked behind some bushes to see Cuphead laying down in a nest. "Cups? What are you doing?" The flareon perked his head up at the sound of Bendy's voice and slightly blushed.

"I'm sleeping?"

"Oh really now? Why are you sleeping in a nest?"

Cuphead blushed harder and sat up, revealing what was underneath. Bendy's ears and tail perked up and he crawled closer. Cuphead growled and hovered over the eggs he was protecting. Bendy flinched away from him causing Cups to snap out of the parental instincts he was feeling to relax again. "S-sorry Cups. Why are you guarding a couple of eggs?" The pikachu asked.

Cuphead answered with, "I'm not sure. I feel like I have to protect them and keep them warm while their mother is somewhere. They're so defenseless and I don't want them to get eaten or anything." Bendy's eyes widened that Cuphead would actually care about some eggs. "I want to be a parent someday..." Bendy gasped slightly and his eyes were the size of moons. Cuphead blushed and turned his head away in embarrassment. Bendy smiled and blushed.

"Maybe you will someday, Cups. You'll find the girl of your dreams and you'll have a family and you'll live happily ever after."

"My life isn't some Disney movie and... I don't want a girl..."

"What?"

"I want you, Bendy."

Bendy flushed pink and froze in place. Cuphead began to sweat and get nervous as Bendy didn't answer and just stared at him. "A-are you angry? I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it. I tried to tell myself you weren't gay and you could never love someone like me but... I-I just couldn't help my feelings... I'm really sorry, Ben-"

Suddenly, Cuphead was interrupted when Bendy pressed his lips against his. They both blushed and Cuphead stared at the pikachu in shock. "I love you, too!" They both stared at each other affectionately before hearing an angry bird and turned to see the mother of the eggs. They screeched and ran off as she flew after them to try and peck them. Why did that bird have to ruin the moment?
