I highly recommend that you all give this song a listen, it's really good. (And JoJo herself is an underrated singer that deserves more love k??)

Also, I finished watching Middleditch & Schwartz

and IT. IS. HILARIOUS!!! 👏😂

I've been cracking up so much that my eyes were tearing up! XD Tom and Ben have certainly outdone themselves, being very inventive and just their incredible selves.

(My favourite has to be the second one which involved school, exams, and an alien showing up lol 😂😂)

Ben...

It's been a while since you've heard that name.

Or hell, even thought about the man who broke your heart.

It has been a couple of years since it ended, and neither of you have made contact or talked at all.

Soon after you began your career as a/an (you choose), hitting it big! Having a huge, loving and supportive fan base with the addition of your friends and family by your side and creating a successful life for yourself.

It was a life anyone would take if they were given the chance. You had it all.

But there was something missing...

You've moved on as some would say.
Better than ever. Happy with where your life has gotten.

When deep down inside, you were hurting...

You felt like your dream was incomplete.

Without Ben in it.

Sure it sounded corny, but it was true.
Ever since that man stepped into your life, everything seemed to disappear and nothing else mattered. You were so used to having him around.   you'd laugh at his funny sense of humour, his charm, witty, and sarcastic attitude.

You were back in your apartment, a sigh leaving your lips in exhaustion. Rubbing your forearm and walk towards the living room to pick up some dirty clothes, and dump into the laundry basket, taking out the trash, setting your bedroom.

Before doing the next chore, you went to the kitchen to have a glass of water. You stop in your tracks when you realised that you had filled two glasses of water, sighing softly and drank them both. It was better to say the least on staying dehydrated.

Vacuuming some grey areas, then your eyes catch a hidden shirt underneath the couch and pull it out only to discover it was one of Ben's.

You stood there, a lump of air caught in your throat and held the soft fabric in your fingertips. Before switching the vacuum off and place the shirt in the laundry basket, leaning against the wall as a memory between the two of you entered.

"Aw, you didn't tell me were this cute when you were little!!—" Schwartz going through a set of baby photos in a photo album of yours, causing you to jerk in alert.

"Ben! What did I say about going through that! It's private!" Running to where he sat and grabbing the book from his lap, placing it on the bookshelves. "Besides most of those pictures are pretty bad for me..." This making him frown for a moment, staring at you in disbelief.

"You've got to be kidding, because I think you look really good, babe. Even in this one at the pool~" he smirked holding a Polaroid shot of you in a F/C bikini swimming. Making you stop in your tracks.

"OH MY GOSH, WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT!!?" Swinging your arms to try and grab the picture, cheeks red in embarrassment.

"Ah, ah, ahhhh, it's mine to have. Finders keepers, princess... Besides, you look gorgeous here! Look at that smile and that bod, woo!! How old were you in this by the way?" Ben smiles, holding a small smirk back from enjoying your annoyed state.

"I was sixteen, now please give me that back." You sighed, arms folded.

"Alright, alright... But first give a kiss." The Jewish man ordered.

"No."

"Oh come on! Just one! It'll be quick and you'll have your precious picture back!" He argued playfully, waving the photo in his fingers tips gently. Then within a few seconds you groan softly.

"Ugh, fine. But just one."

You lean in closing the distance between you two as his lips were on your own, while he was distracted, your hand moved to snatch the picture from his grasp successfully. You were about to pull away when Ben's hands were on your cheeks, keeping you close to him. But it wasn't like you didn't mind. And wrap your arms around his neck.

Then you pull away with your forehead resting against his, biting your lip gently. "Your lucky I love you, Schwartz. Otherwise you would be in a coffin by now."

"Oh, you know you love me." He smirked.

She stared at him in confusion "Do I know that? Yes, yes I do..." smiling soon afterwards.

Fists clenched as you went out to take a short stroll through the city to help you breathe. Wrapping the jacket around you to keep warm, hands in your pockets, staring mostly at the wet, dirty, sidewalk you walked on.

Stopping in your tracks at a pedestrian lane, the light red, as a few cars drove by.

Sighing softly as you glance up only to see familiar vehicle driving pass you, eyes widening to have a closer look at the driver.

But found a fat, bald guy. Who gave you a weird glare at making eye contact, you immediately turn away in embarrassment and try to stare at something else. Swallowing hard as more memories began to return...

"I have an idea. I'll tell you a joke, and if you laugh, you have to go out with me one more again before you go away for vacation." Ben starts as you both walk through Central Park, side by side, you raise an eyebrow at him "And if you don't laugh, I'll know we're incompatible and I'll gladly give up..."

"That must be one helluva joke." You said.

He nods "It's the funniest in human history." As you walk over a small bridge, he shrugs "But it's subtle, sophisticated, so you probably won't even get it."

"Yeah, probably not."

Ben just laughs, but continued "Do you like baseball?"

"Yeah, I love it." You nodded.

Ben felt his confidence grow at her response, grinning softly "Good. So... One day at Fenway Park, Ted Williams... Do you know who he was?"

"Oh, c'mon, the Thumper, current batting average. 344, right?" You smile.

His eyes widen at your knowledge, and laughs with a shake of his head. And continued.

"What? Yeah, that Ted Williams. Anyway, so, he's hangin' around Fenway and this horse walks up and says, "I want to play for the Sox."

"An actual horse?" You ask in confusion.

"An actual horse." He laughs in confirmation, making you raise an eyebrow.

"So Ted's like, "Okay, what can you do?" and the horse says, "I can hit just like you, only a whole lot better " So, he picks up the bat with his teeth and Ted's like, "Okay", and he throws him a few, and sure enough... goong, goong, goong! Into the bleachers." He explained as you both walked through the park.

"So, Ted's like,"Whoa! What else can you do?" And the horse says, "Well, I can play shortstop." So, Ted hits him a few ground balls and sure enough.—"

"He's a "vacuum cleaner"?"  You asked making him nod.

"Yeah, so Ted's like, "Whoa! Can you pitch?" And the horse just looks at him and says, "Pitch? Who ever heard of a horse pitching?"

You only stare at him once he finished, mouth agape slightly. Thinking deeply about the joke, as your nose began to scrunch up at getting the picture. Ben's eyes filling with hope (and silently praying) that you would laugh, and sure enough.

A soft giggle escaped, with a couple more. As you covered your mouth gently to contain yourself.

"Yeah! Yes!" He cheered before exclaiming in triumph "Ladies and gentlemen, the Lady has been conquered!!" Making people walking past you two and around the area stare in confusion, some glaring, this getting you to punch Ben to shut him up.

"That's the worst joke I've ever heard in my entire life." You rolled your eyes, smiling softly.

"Thank you." He bows making you chuckle.

"It wasn't a compliment." Folding your arms.

"Dinner, Tuesday, my place. Eight o'clock. I'll pick you up here."  Ben says standing up straight and looking down at you with a coy grin.

It went silent between you two, then a few seconds later you sigh with a small smile.

"Fine."

Crossing once the light turned green. Your pace quicker than usual, breathing faster as well when you walked into Central Park. What a coincidence?

What things even worse was this was the place where most memories were made between you and Ben. So everywhere you'd look. There'd be visions of the past on your relationship all leading up to the day you ended things, it was like walking down a painful trip through memory lane to describe it.

You could see that you've gotten so used to having Ben around most of the time, to the point of where he was meant to be with you forever. That he would wake up everyday by your side, cheering you up when you were sad or upset, long walks through New York with laughter and hugs, random lunch dates with the exception of having ice cream. Ben was someone you couldn't stand living without.

How did things end between you two, you ask?

Well, it mostly involved trust issues (Ben would be heading out and drinking over your fights) and went to the point on when he came back drunk, you weren't having this new habit he had in drinking, then he ranted on how sensitive you were with trusting people. Especially after your old relationships.

Even saying how it was like you didn't seem as fun loving as you were before, which struck a nerve in you and broke your heart. And then everything ended right then and there, you packed your things and left Ben in his apartment crying which led to the current one you rest in...

And discovering earlier from your friends that he had a new girlfriend made a part of you shatter, like you had lost all senses and didn't care that much anymore. You even had the habit of checking his Instagram or Twitter to find any new pictures or tweets on him talking about his new girl, which broke you piece by piece, at seeing how genuinely happy he looked with her.

Almost more than when he was with you,
Were you even good enough for him?

That thought made the tears sink in as they fell down your cheeks in sorrow. You just wiped them away and reassured to yourself to move on, if you did before, you knew you could with your friends and family.

Relationships aren't easy things to maintain sometimes, we weren't perfect human beings. But we can learn and improve more, try to have a better way at understanding one another in life.

But one thing was for sure.
Ever since Ben walked into your life, things changed, and now that he's gone, it will never be the same...
