This is what I have wanted, but when I open my mouth nothing came out. I did expect a fight but Ben looking at me with those green eyes was making me nervous. "I-I-" My words were stuck.

"Aaaaagh!" I shouted and flop on my back. I saw Ben flinch and then cover my eyes with my hands, wanting to block out the world. "I-, Hah! I'm Sorry! Okay! It was wrong of me to not say goodbye! It was wrong of me to not call you! It was wrong of me to-to-!" I stop and let my arms flop to my sides. "I was a coward. My powers were new to me and I didn't know what to think. I really missed you. And I understand if you hate me now." I said. The burden finally lifted off my shoulders. I layed my hands on my stomach, finally breathing easily in a long time.

It was quiet for a while, the only thing I hears is the wind. But then I heard a thump beside me and look to find Ben had layed beside me. I saw that he had a guilty look on his face. He then turned his head to look at me, "I don't hate you." He told me.

He looks back up at the sky, "Yeah I was upset you left without saying goodbye. But to be honest, I didn't know what to say or feel when you came back. You are my best friend and I have been acting like a jerk by ignoring you. But when you were gone, I felt a void in my chest that could only be filled with you." I perked up at the last statement.

Ben's face turned a bit red, "I-I mean you are my best-longest friend and I-" I place my hand on his shoulder. He stopped talking and looks at me. I smile at him, "I missed you too. And I felt like something was missing in me too." It was true. When I was younger I always admire Ben for his courage and need to help people. He can be annoying and stubborn, but he could be sweet and caring.

Before I knew it, I started to lean towards Ben and he did the same. My hand found itself in Ben's hair. But then I was pushed away and saw a very red Ben. But then we both look down to find we were floating and (F/C) glowing surrounding us. I then realized what we did and blushed hard and lost concentration, causing us to fall.

We both got up and before I could say anything, "Sorry! I-it-, it just happened!" Ben said, very flustered might I add. But I started laughing. I hadn't laugh so hard in so long and Ben started laughing with me.

It felt like hours until we calmed down. We both look at each other, "So, are just gonna-" I gesture between us. Ben rubbed his neck and smile, "I mean we could ignore 'this,' but if you want to miss the opportunity to date Ben 10, be my guest." He smirk, obviously challenging me.

I am not backing down. So I walk up to him, grab his shirt and yank him towards me, giving him a passionate smooch. I break the kiss and look at his surprised face, "I am not letting you slip from my fingers again." I tell him. Ben's smirk return, "Well. Alright then."

This was not what I had in mind when I went to find this boy, but I think we can make it work. "So, mind teleporting us to Mr. Smoothie's? All that made me thirsty." He asked. I paused. "Wait! You like Mr. Smoothie's?!" (We didn't go to Mr. Smoothie's since my first day back so don't blame me for being oblivious).

After the 'startling' revelation, I relented and teleport us back to Bellwood and at the Mr. Smoothie's we meant all those weeks ago. When we got our smoothies, that's when Rook drove into the parking lot and ran to us, "Where have you two been?! We were worried about you!" He scolded us a bit.

But Ben and I look at each other and smile, "Just blew off some steam and had a much needed conversation." Ben explains. Rook looked confused until he sees me grab the brunette's hand and connects the dots. "Oh. I see. Well, I am happy that you two have reconcile. But please do not disappear again." He says.

Ben and I just laugh and got Rook a smoothie too. The three of us spent the time enjoying the peace and quiet until we got a call from Max, "There is a robbery taking place at the bank." Rook states. Ben and I look at each other, "See ya guys there." Ben says and transforms into Astrodactyl flying to the bank.

"Shotgun!" I shout and went to the truck. Rook follows and gets in the drivers seat and starts driving. I had a smirk on my face, "Things are finally looking up." I say. And use my powers to make the truck go faster.

Oh Yeah. Things are gonna get awesome.
