We currently see a twelve year old Ben Tennyson sitting in the back of the Rust Bucket. Alongside his parents, it's been two years since that faithful summer vacation. When Ben had donned the Omnitrix and became a super hero.

As expected his parents were shocked to know about the Omnitrix, but seeing all the good he's done with it the accepted his decision to become a hero. However due to some issues regarding most of Bellwood being demolished by Dr. Animo's monsters they were forced to move.

Though Ben wasn't thrilled about the idea he understood why, "so how long until we get there?" He asked. "In a little bit sport" Max replied, the hero sighed.  "A new town, fresh new start eh?" He said, "well at least Cash and JT aren't here, that's a plus" Ben laughed.

"Still I'm proud of you, though they bullied you for a long time, and even though you had the Omnitrix" Saundra said. "Instead of doing to them what they did to you, you stood up and told them off. You were the better man" she said, "thanks mom, hopefully tomorrow'll be a better day for me" Ben said.

"Nearly there, I can see the city" Max said from the front, "ooh almost there" Carl said putting his phone away. "So what's this place called again?" Ben asked looking at the brochure of their new home his mother was holding.

"If I remember correctly it's called Heatherfield" she replied, "well that's a nice name." Ben looked over the brochure, to him it was just your average city.

"Also you'll be attending a school called the..." Carl said looking at a small card. "The Sheffield Institute" He said, "that sounds like a very high profile school" Ben commented. "You'll get used to it" Max said from the front, "Hey Dad do you see the address yet?" Carl asked when the RV suddenly stopped.

"found it" Max answered, they were in front of a tall apartment building with multi pane windows on the top floor. Carl looked at the building and the card "Yeah this should be the place" he said, they went to the unit they were staying in. Lucky the rent was affordable and the place was nice "I can learn to like this place" Ben said.

"Yeah But first we have to get our boxes up here" Saundra said "Mom you can leave that to me" Ben said before he flashed greens and became XLR8. "Be back in a flash!" He said before zooming downstairs "he really enjoys using that watch doesn't he?" Carl asked.

"When you get super powers you have just got to try them out" Max simply replied. Saundra could argue if she could, but sighed in defeat and nodded in agreement "True" she said.

After about three minutes Ben had brought all of his family's baggage up to their new apartment. And after helping setting everything up he immediately switched to Gray Matter to help with setting up the electrical equipment. After two years Ben finally re-unlocked the master control and can now switch from form to form with no time limit.

"That should do it" the pompous alien confirmed jumping out from behind the TV. "I have to say your alien powers are mighty Handy Ben" Carl admitted, "whether getting someplace fast or working with certain tasks" Saundra added.

"Yeah, I'm just glad I realized that since the Omnitrix was created by a Galvan like Gray Matter it can be hacked by one" Ben said as he turned back stretched. "I'm gonna hit the sack now" he said, "are you sure? Dinner's almost ready" Carl said, "is Grandpa Max cooking?" He asked, when his mother nodded the boy had already ran to his new room and locked it.

The next morning Ben had woken up like normal, however abnormally he woke up early. Heck even his parents aren't up at this hour, "that's weird, might as well rest the Omnitrix's status" he said before raising the watch to his face.

The core rose and spoke "new updates found, power adoptability and transmutation functions ready to be installed" it said. "Please describe both functions" Ben said, "Power Adoptability; allows user to access individual abilities of transformations while still in normal form and use them all at once. Example having Pyronite pyrokinesis or Galvan hyper intelligence in base form" the Omnitrix answered.

"Okay that sounds useful, what is Transmutation feature?" Ben asked, "transmutation; allows user to change the features of their normal form into those of transformations. Example changing arms into those of a Tetramand's or legs into those of a Kineceleran. Or growing the wings of a Lepidopterran for flight" the device explained.

"Will either cancel out and remove and or delete the Master control?" Ben asked. "Not in the slightest, in fact both functions coincide with the master control" The Omnitrix said. "Anything else?" Ben asked "new samples now available for use, Around seventy to sixty new specimens".

"Better install this" Ben then took out a small chip and inserted it into the Omnitrix. "Permanent Master control now initiated, Master Control cannot be removed from now on" The Omnitrix said.

"Okay install new updates and download new forms" Ben said as the device began to download. "This is gonna be a while" he said before unlocking his door and going out into the living room. "Might as well eat something" he then went into the kitchen and grabbed some breakfast.

Half an hour later we now see Ben running down the street, he was currently testing out his new power adoptability feature. Using XLR8's speed to run to his new school, "this ability's amazing, now I can use my powers in public and no one'll know it's even me" he said as the boy kept running.

He finally reached the school known as Sheffield institute. He slowed down to not draw attention to himself, only to run into someone when he crossed under the archway above the school's entrance. "Ow, sorry about that" he apologized as he got up "Ow! Maybe you should watch where you're going" the person said.

Ben had outstretched his hand and helped the kid up, getting a better look he saw whoever he bumped into was a girl. She had brown eyes and red hair, wore a pink raincoat, orange shirt and blue bell bottoms. "I said I was sorry" Ben said, the girl sighed "no it's fine, I'm sorry for snapping. You see me and my mother moved here recently and I'm not quite used to the city yet" she said. "Hey same here, the name's Ben Tennyson" he introduced himself.

The girl smiled and shook his hand, "Will Vandom" the two then walked into the school. "I'm just lucky I managed to get here an hour before the bell rang" Will said.

"I know the school starts way too early" Ben said, "jeez what are we military soldiers? Not all of us rise at the crack of dawn" She replied. "And even if we did we'd still be too tired to do anything" he added as they laughed.

"Anyway which class do you have first?" Ben asked, the compared schedules. "Oh hey we have the same schedule" she said, "weird, but cool" He said.

"So where do you live? I feel like I've seen you before" Will told Ben. "Just in that big building" he said pointing to it from outside the window. Will's eyes widened "it wouldn't happen to be the one with the multi pane windows would it?" She asked.

"Uh yeah why?" Ben asked "That's where I live also" Will replied. "Okay getting weirder" Ben chuckled, "Yeah, Uh say, you want to hang out sometime?" She asked him. "Sure, want to meet up after school?" Ben asked, Will nodded and they continued onto class.

'Huh I guess mom was right, a new friend was around the corner, and he's kinda cute'

'Making friends is somehow easier here than back in Bellwood, Will seems pretty nice. Plus, she's kinda pretty... Wait did I just cal a girl pretty?!'
