Rachnera

As light shines through a window it falls upon the figure of a 16 almost 17 year old Ben Tennyson. Once the annoying sun raise hit his eyes the hero starts groaning as he tries to block it out. "Ben, wake up" his mother called out, "come on" he grunted, then reluctantly got up.

After defeating Vilgax and gaining the Ultimatrix from Albedo Ben had continued his hero career. And also managed to successfully balance a normal life with hero duty, though it wasn't enough to keep his girlfriend Julie. Thankfully he got over it, anyways.

After making his bed and got some somewhat decent at home apparel on he went downstairs, "morning" he moaned. In perspective you'd think he'd be a zombie with how tired he looked, 'I'm starting to rethink my career as a super hero' he thought before entering the kitchen to see his mom making breakfast. "Hello son" she greeted "hey son, first day of summer vacation this year" his dad Carl said in the dining room.

"Yup (yawns), though I thought having a break from school meant being able to sleep in" Ben joked "there's no need to waste the day Benjamin. Besides we're going to have a guest later" Saundra said, "really?" Ben asked rubbing some of the sleep out of his eyes.

"Yes, remember? Me and your father signed up for the interspecies cultural exchange" his mother reminded. The interspecies cultural exchange was a bill passed for non human and non alien species like for example mythological creatures like Centaurs, Harpies, and Lamia which are women with the lower half of a snake. "Oh yeah, Grandpa max signed us up so we can have peace between aliens and... what were they called Demi Human? Linimal?" Ben remembered. "Yes to both, anyway our new guest and her coordinator are coming" Carl said.

"Actually, the coordinator has been here for about an hour already" Sandra added before pointing to one part of the table with a rather attractive black haired woman in an office suit sitting next to Ben with a coffee mug in her hand. "Yes, that'd be me. My name is Ms. Smith and I'll be your interspecies exchange coordinator" she said scaring the heck out of Ben, "when did you even get in here?! And how did you even sit next to me without being noticed?!" The shapeshifter exclaimed after he fell off his seat.

"A trained secret, any who I have arrived to discuss the terms of your new exchange and the main rules of the interspecies exchange" She explained before taking a sip of her coffee... then stopped before walking over to a window and opened it before spitting it out. "I'm question, who made this because it tastes like bugs...?" She asked the family. "Oh uh that'd be me" a familiar voice said, walking into the room was our hero's grandfather Max Tennyson.

Immediately Ben got up from the chair and poured his coffee into the sink, "sir I think you should take some cooking class because in my opinion that was foul" Smith. "Nah it's not foul, it's just an acquired taste" Max said before the woman scowled 'nope it's foul! Very Foul!' She mentally cursed.

"Thankfully I had enough HomeEc classes to at least have some experience with food. Especially coffee which" Ben to no one in particular while making a new pot. "Oh I didn't know you were taking HomeEc this year?" Sandra said "I needed an extracurricular and it was the only think I could think of. Especially if me and Grandpa ever go on a road trip again" He replied before gagging a bit. Right before Smith had once again appeared next to him drinking the fresh made batch of coffee. "I must admit Mr. Tennyson, this batch you made is really good. Something that marks you as a good applicant for this program as you are the host family" she said startling him again. "Wait, you said makes me a good applicant and that I'm the host family. Don't you mean we're the host family?" Ben said.

Max then cleared his throat "well, um, here's the thing Ben" he said. A short explanation, seeing as they wanted a good relationship between Demi Humans, Humans and Aliens, Both the exchange and the plumbers thought Ben should be the technical host family for the exchange. So Smith had already knew of Ben's powers, and seeing as he is respected throughout the universe as the one who defeated Vilgax and both beat and saved the HighBreed from extinction.

As a somewhat public figure Ben had a good chance to pull this off or botch this bad. And obviously feeling a bit annoyed that he was denied critical information Ben sort of a let Rath loose, lucky no one got hurt. But after calming down he accepted his responsibility as a host family, "again sorry about not saying anything until now" Max apologized "it's fine. Just please don't hold any information next time. Please" Ben groaned. "So when's my new homestay gonna arrive?" He asked Smith, "that'd be right now" she said before hearing a horn honk outside.

The group went out to the front to see a large van parked outside, "why the van?" Carl asked "some species tend to have large or complicated bodies, the one you'll be looking after is one of those" the coordinator said as the back opened. And what came out was very eye catching, a very tall woman with six ruby red eyes, short lavender hair in a bob cut, insect like carapace covered arms with sharp claws, and the most interesting part. The lower half of her body was that of a spider, "Ben Tennyson. Meet your homestay Ms. Rachnera Arachnera" Smith introduced the spider mistress. "Hello there, I'm guessing this is the first time you've met an Arachne?" Rachnera asked bending down to look at Ben eye to eye... er... eye to eyes more like. "Uh... you could say that" he replied before reaching out a hand "name is Ben Tennyson" he said, she looked a bit confused. But shrugged and shook his hand, the coordinator then discussed the rules of the exchange.

Thankfully she kept it plain and simple and told them to three main rules of the exchange, one being that the host family, IE Ben, cannot leave the exchange, Rachnera, unattended when they go out around the area. Second Rachnera isn't allowed to hurt other humans and vice versa, and lastly and the most important rule of all. Under no circumstances are Ben or Rachnera allowed to have any sexual related activities which will result in him being arrested and the Arachne being deported.

Imagine the blush on his face when she said that, afterwards smith left leaving the spider woman to find a room in the house. As Ben showed her around she had found the attic most comfortable. "I'll take this room" she said before seeing Ben as Four Arms carry her stuff to the attic entrance. "Thought I could at least lend a hand" he said, "or four" then quipped before putting it all down.

"Interesting, but I'll take it from here. I appreciate the help" Rachnera said before grabbing some of her things, "okay then, just call if you need anything" Ben said turning back. She looked at him for a bit, then smirked "actually, there is one more thing I'd like you to do for me" Rachnera said before climbing into the attic. Ben was about to follow only to be dragged in by some unknown force. When he entered the attic the Arachne leered over him, "let's just get this straight, I really don't like humans" she said, Ben struggled a bit before activating the Omnitrix. "A-any reason... why by any chance?" He asked, "you heard what I said. I don't like humans, so what makes you think I'll tell you?" Rachnera asked him.

"All that frustration's just gonna build up, believe me I know. It's better to let it out" Ben said, she was about to let him out of her web and fall to the floor. But for some reason, looking at him she felt some odd feeling that she can trust him. Sighing Rachnera closed the attic door and let him down, "not too long ago my original host family tried to give me away to some sleazy director. He made money off the silk I made and thankfully he got arrested. Not that I don't appreciate the justice, but every time I tried to go to a new host family they always put on false faces. Always saying I didn't bother them, that's why I didn't like humans. They always lie to disguise the truth" she said.

Ben couldn't argue with why she didn't like humans, after being rejected by other host families and having someone live off what she can do who wouldn't hold a grudge. "While I can't speak for all humans, we all aren't like that. Heck I know how you feel, you're looking at a guy who turns into different non human creatures and does good. But is never thanked for it" he said. Rachnera looked at the boy again, and saw that he had a look in his eyes that some how showed he was truthful.

"Hmm, so what do you think of me? I know you didn't exactly have approving eyes when you first saw me" she asked. He flinched "it wasn't like that Uh... it's just... I was taken aback by how you looked" Ben said. She sighed "so you don't like how I look then" she said "typical".

"Who said didn't like the way you looked?" Ben questioned making her open her eyes wide in confusion. "If anything, you look really... er... beautiful" he admitted blushing, "yeah maybe in these" she commented bounding her... assets... he blushed "Uh not exactly that but... your other half is pretty cool too" he said making her stop "I mean, your carapace looks really smooth and shiny. You must take great care of it, and those legs looks really dexterous and strong, plus that mark you have on your abdomen look really cool" he complimented. Rachnera then turned her face to her him looked into his eyes. Hoping to find some shred of lies in what he said, however all she saw was pure honesty which made it her turn to blush.

Then she turned it back around on him "what? You're telling me that my spider parts turn you on? Kinda creepy" she teased making him spit take "Hey hey hey!! I didn't say they turned me on!! I'm just saying that they also look cool, I don't just focus on one part of a person. I like to focus on all parts" he defended while she giggled "relax in kidding. Though you make one sweet smooth talker though, you can leave now" she said opening the attic door.

He was about to leave when "though there is one thing" she spoke, he was about to ask what before suddenly getting pulled into her chest... "the girls wanted to say high" she teased before pecking him on the cheek and let him go as he stumbled down the ball. Each time he hit a wall she giggled watching, "maybe this home won't be so bad after all".
