We now go to the Rustbucket III flying over the ocean hundreds of miles from the the mainland, inside we're Ben, Gwen, Kevin and Max. "So where are we going again?" Kevin asked, Quote plumbers received a distressed Beacon a few miles off the coast of Japan." Max said.

A screen then appeared and showed an island "After doing more digging, there had appear to be an island where the Beacon was picked up. For some odd reason it hadn't appeared on any maps." The magister explained further. "But what could be out there Grandpa?" Gwen asked, Max then spoke up again "we have reason to believe that an alien is being held their against their will." He explained.

Ben then saw an island a few miles ahead "is that it Grandpa?" He asked, Max looked at it, "yup. Same location where the distress beacon was picked up" Max answered. Kevin nodded then flew closer "scanners picked up a lot of armed guards, whatever's there seems seriously dangerous. Want me to go in stealth mode?" He asked.

"Keep a far distance from the island, then Ben will fly out as Big Chill, using his invisibility, to sneak there" Max answered. The osmosian then stopped the ship and held it in the air in stealth mode a far distance from the island as to not be detected. "I'm going on" Ben said before turning into Ghost Freak, "well, not what I was going for. But it'll have to do" he said creepily before flying towards the base.

As the ectonurite reached the island, he was about to use his intangibility to phase through the walls and scope the place out. Only to hear an alarm go off, "what the?!" Ben exclaimed then heard his Ultimatrix beep, "Ben! What did you do?! The base is on high alert" Gwen said over the call. "Hey I didn't do anything" Ben defended, then heard screaming.

"Uh... I'll call you back", turning off the line he phased through the wall and saw something... disturbing.

The hallway looked like a horror show, several people who were killed left and right were seen. Blood sprayed on all the walls (throws up)... excuse me. "Grandpa, if there was an alien being held here... is it worth rescuing?" He asked calling his team. "What is it Ben?" Max asked in reply, "a massacre. Whatever got out had murdered people throughout the base, like something out of a B-rated horror flick" Ghostfreak answered before hearing more screams.

"Give me a sec?" The alien narrowed his eyes and followed the source of the sound, finding himself main control room of the facility he saw... something interesting. It was a girl, she was wearing a metal helmet but the left piece of her helmet was broken revealing pink hair and a small cat like ear on her head. But aside from that... she was naked.

The Ectonurite blushed but shook the thoughts from her head, "no, must not think of that!" He scolded himself. He then saw several men try to attack her, she didn't flinch, suddenly all the men had their heads cut off in a nanosecond. Ben was shocked when he saw it, "Grandpa, whatever this is. It's powerful, and deadly" he said.

"What's wrong?" Kev asked, "whatever escaped was a girl, she had pink hair with a cat like ear on her head. But oddly she's killing people left, right and all around her using some telekinetic force. I saw the men trying to shoot at her sliced and diced like nothing" Ghost Freak said. "If that's the case, better call back up, no telling how dangerous she can really be" Max said, "when we do, she'll either be deported from the planet or put in a holding cell".

Ben looked at the monitors and saw what the security cameras had recorded, the girl had originally been held inside a large machine. And that was for a long twelve years, when the glitch found its way in the security protocols she escaped. "Guys, maybe it's possible this girl is more victim than criminal" Ben said before looking at a file on the subject "here's something" he said sending it to the others.

As he read he found out the girl's name was Lucy, appropriated to be eighteen or fifteen years old. And something called a Diclonius, a subspecies of humans that have the power of vectors. The ability to create telekinetically generated arms that can have various uses. And is emotionally unstable due to past trauma...

This was the entire reason why she was locked up, her power and emotional state. "Sheesh, just because someone has power and is a little emotionally distraught doesn't mean they deserve to be caged like an animal"

Ben was brought out of his musings when he looked at another monitor, it showed a man on top of the facility. Ben had noticed he was holding a sniper rifle, tuning into the communications Ben heard that they were planning to shoot Lucy. "Oh no, Kevin, prepare for immediate pick up" he said then flew out out of the building.

As the sniper prepared to fire a bright light shined over the facility, which had caught Lucy's attention "hey what's going on?!" A few employees who managed to survive said. At that moment the place went dark, "an EMP?"

After recovering his eye sight from the light, the sniper had focused his gun back on the Diclonius. "Say your prayers" he said, only for a diamond shard to get stuck in his gun, then see Ben in his Petrosapien form punch him in the face.

He looked down at Lucy and saw some more people going for her from behind "LOOK OUT!" He yelled before jumping down blocking her from them. Then sent them flying by sprouting crystals from the ground, "who are you?" She asked in a threatening tone "for now I'm diamond head and" Ben was saying before seeing the reflections of more coming while she was distracted again. "Incoming on your Six" he alerted, she looked over her shoulder and saw them, then they were suddenly launched back several feet with gnarly wounds on their chests.

"Now that I know you're name, what are you" the Diclonius asked once more, "I'll explain later. For now" he then shot several cameras that was able to see them, then pointed up towards the ship. "We've got a ride to catch" he said, the craft let down a rope to the two, "why are you here?" Lucy asked, "like I said I'll explain later, grab on" Diamond Head said handing her the rope.

The ship flew away with the two being hoisted up, "and when are you planning to explain?" The pinkette asked. "Like I said in a little bit, like once we're away from that facility" Ben replied, she narrowed her eyes, then they heard Kevin. "Dude! Problem!" The absorbing teen yelled before pointing towards the island where two missiles were now following them. "Not good" Diamond Head groaned, Lucy rolled her eyes, "you already helped me out, now it's time for me to return the favor" she said.

Now at our view we see several long transparent arms protrude from her lower back and stretch to the missiles. Once they reached it the arms smacked the projectiles away and made a few explode in mid air. "Okay... you... are awesome" Ben praises, Lucy just looked away "whatever".

Finally the team pulled them up, "now, why have you aided me in my escape?" Lucy asked, "we'll answer that... once you put some clothes on" Gwen said. At the same time handing her a shirt and a pair of shorts to use, the Diclonius rolled her eyes and put the clothes on. "As for why we came, we received a distress signal from the island" Max answered. "I had not sent a distress signal, but my Vectors could've been mistaken for it" Lucy said, "so I assume you'll be sending me to an unknown location to keep me hidden" she added.

"Why?" Kevin asked, Lucy narrowed her eyes "don't play dumb, I know you read up on my file they had" she said sternly. Ben then intervened "yes I admit to reading the file, but they say there are two sides to a story. Right now I want to hear the story from the source" he said.

"How can I trust you" she asked, the gang then told her about them, obviously she yelled saying that was stupid. But had admitted that if they wanted to lie they'd use something more convincing.

Lucy then explained her origin, "it all started when I was born, my parents had given me up. All because of my horns, it didn't get better when I was growing up either. All the kids at the orphanage used to tease me and insult me because of them. I try to ignore them but it got worse, I ran away one day to get away from it" Lucy explained.

"Then... when I was running... I found something" she explained, "it... it was a puppy" at mention Kevin muttered to himself in irritation. To which Lucy used her Vectors to shake the plane a little, "as I was saying, I found a puppy that day. At first I thought it would just run, like everyone else had. But instead it licked me and showed so much affection. It was the first time anything had shown it like me, it made me so happy. So I decided to adopt it and care for it, it was great... until"

Her body twitched with rage, "one day... some boys in the orphanage... they found my puppy... then to torment me... the tortured it in front of my eyes... they hurt him, and eventually they killed it... I felt so much sadness. But I realized it wasn't sadness" Lucy then looked up with a scary expression.

"It was rage... I was so angry with those jerks! They killed the only thing that actually loved me!" She yelled with her eyes tearing. She later calmed down enough to talk again, "And then it happened... my powers awakened... my anger broke out and my vectors killed them" she admitted.

The team was shocked, "you may think that I was satisfied when I saw what I had down" Lucy said. Which Gwen was afraid of her response, "but you'd be off the mark" that caught everyone's attention. "... I was distraught, I was mortified with what I had done. Granted they were guilty, but even I knew they didn't deserve to be killed. After that incident, they came. The people who ran that facility you found me in" Lucy continued.

"They took me and kept me there, forcing me to go through these horrible experiments. Using my powers for destructive tasks, they were testing my powers, and after seeing how strong I was... they darted me and locked me in that contraption. Like I was some feral rabid animal. All because of my powers" She said.

Ben noticed the tears running down her face, "all I wanted to do was live a normal life! But no one would let me! Not my parents who just abandoned me! Not the kids at the orphanage! And to top it all off the people who took me away robbed me of all my opportunities to just have a happy life! Is that too much to ask for!" She screamed as her Vectors flailed around like out of control fire hoses. "Lucy! Lucy! Calm down" Ben exclaimed as they all tried to dodge the arms of death, thankfully they weren't strong enough to cut the metal.

Otherwise the ship would be in danger of being torn apart, "Calm! I deserve to be anything but Calm! I have been put through torment my whole life! It's only fair that I should let the world feel my rage!" The Diclonius roared.

Gwen attempted to use her Mana tendrils to stop the Vectors, thankfully they had held back enough to which Lucy growled at. "Thanks Gwen, hold her back" Ben said before turning into Brainstorm, "now if I may madame" the alien then used his powers on her to try to calm the girl down.

Once she did the invisible arms disappeared and Ben turned back, "Okay so how about we just try to calm down and..." he didn't have time to finish his sentence when Lucy suddenly let loose again and flailed her Vectors around. "Lucy please stop!" Ben yelled, because she wasn't listening he was forced to try a really risky move.

"This is going to be drastic, but it's the only thing I've got" he said. The boy then walked towards the entity of unstoppable rage, being careful not to get hit by the arms, once he was at ground zero Ben had enveloped her in a hug. "Lucy will you just calm down!" He yelled as the girl kept her onslaught up, "Lucy I know that the world is unfair a lot, heck we all know, when Kevin got his powers he was kicked out of his own parent's house because of them! And when my parents discovered my powers and Gwen's they told us not to go into battle anymore" he said.

Though Lucy was still flailing her vectors around what Ben was saying had gotten her attention, "I know that being picked on is unpleasant and the prejudice from your strength is hurtful. But if you retaliate to them you're no better than the people that tormented you" The shapeshifter continued. She stopped her rage and listened, "I won't put you down because of what you did long ago to those kids. Or what happened to those men on the island, besides it was heir fault that if happened. They were asking for it by teasing you" Ben said.

"The only thing you can do, is ignore it, because what they do or say should matter. If they don't treat you with respect then they don't deserve it. Even though the world may try and stab you in the back, you just need to find the right path to walks once you do the world will be on your side. The hardships will lessen and more good will come to you. So long as you stay on that path" Lucy finally caved in and hugged Ben back. "Thanks.. I needed that" she said, "hey as I said I'm a super hero. It's what we do" he replied, "so what happens now?" She asked.

"Well first, we'll be sending a team to investigate that island to see if there are any other innocent people held there" Max said. "As for you, you'll be on jury for your actions, the best result will be a week in a holding cell, and two months of Community service" he added.

Lucy nodded, "fair enough" she said, as everyone walked up to the cockpit where Kevin was. Ben and Lucy had stayed behind, "Well, looks like your life may be taking a turn for the better" he said. Lucy didn't exactly believe it, but looking at this young man, he gave off a hopeful aura that she felt comfortable around. Lowering her emotional defenses she nodded, "you know what, I think you're right, thank you Ben" she said.

He was about to reply when the girl had appeared in front of him and kissed him on the lips. After a minute she separated from him and smiled "consider that my thank you gift" Lucy said before walking to the rest. Leaving a stunned wide eyed Ben behind stuttering in embarrassment.
