You hummed softly walking through the streets of bellwood enjoying the nice weather today with the sun shining brightly.

Gwen had called you asking if you could meet her by mr smoothie for something that came up so of course you decided to go.

You saw her sitting by a table waving you over smiling happy you came to meet her, you sat down by the table giving a quick 'hey' to Gwen who returned it.

Gwen : good you came

(Y/n) : why you wanted to meet up ?

Gwen : well i kinda wanted somebody to hang out with but since i always hang out with Ben and Kevin I thought i could hang out with you for once

(Y/n) : sure sounds fun

Gwen : great...... all i gotta pick something up by the plumber base so we gotta make a quick stop

You nodded your head getting up so you could follow Gwen to the plumber base humming softly. Gwen got you both in and leaded you through the base not showing she didn't need to pick up anything but actually was looking for Helen.

She found Helen in the training room running circles very fast probaly going..... you didn't knew it was just one black/blue circle for you

Gwen : hey Helen

Hearing Gwen voice Helen stopped with running to see both you and Gwen standing by the door looking at her.

Helen : hey want can i do for you ?

Gwen : oh i just needed to pick something up...... i forget my wallet

Helen : you forgetting something ?

Gwen : yeah rub it in

Gwen asked you to wait here while she went into the girls locker room to look for her wallet leaving you with Helen.

You looked at Helen who stretched her legs.

(Y/n) : that was pretty fast
Helen : i am a Kineceleran we're all this fast kinda

(Y/n) : how much can you reach ?
Helen : well I honestly never tried to find out but atleast fast enough to make mini tornados or run up walls
(Y/n) : thats....... fast

Helen smiled ready to continue her training when Gwen returned her wallet in hand which she put in her pocket

Gwen : i got it...... all im sorry to say i gotta go i got a call about family business so we gotta hangout another time all im sure Helen wouldn't mind to keep you company

Helen looked up

Helen : huh ?

Gwen turned to Helen smiling

Gwen : would you mind to keep (y/n) company for the day ?

Helen : of course not

Gwen : thank you

Gwen told you again sorry jogging out the room leaving you and Helen alone in a akward silence.

(Y/n) : you don't have too if you don't wanna i can return home
Helen : no its okay...... just let me finish my laps

You nodded sitting down on a bench to watch her run her laps, Helen took a running position then runned off running circles in the training field faster then you could see, all you honestly saw was a blur.

Her running even made the wind pick up like a strong breeze blowing in your face which felt kinda nice.

You closed your eyes resting your head on one hand enjoying the nice cold breeze for a few minutes until it died down.

After a few more seconds you opended your eyes finding Helen infront of you.

Helen : im done

You got up

(Y/n) : what now ?

Helen shrugged walking out the training room with you by her side

Helen : well i wanted to grab something to eat in the cafeteria if your hungry

You nodded your head kinda hungry for something to eat so you and Helen traveled to the cafeteria finding it empty expect you two and the people working in the kitchen to make food for lunch break.

You both grabbed something simple like vegatables and some meatballs then sat down by one of the tables all for yourselfs.

You both started eating not speaking to each other not sure where to start until you got a idea

(Y/n) : anything you wanna talk about ?

Helen looked up at you staring into your eyes

Helen : like what ?

(Y/n) : well anything you wanna tell me about yourself

She seemed surprised but smiled sweetly telling you a few things about her like her hobbies, skills likes and dislikes even telling you her backstory obvious struggling a little to talk about her death adoptive brother Pierce.

(Y/n) : you don't have to tell me if you don't wanna

Helen : its not that..... its just i lost him once now a second time but for good (lowers her gaze)

You reached over the table shy placing a hand on her upper arm a simple thing but somehow it was enough to make Helen look up with a smile.

Helen : thanks

(Y/n) ; for

Helen : the comfort...... somehow i feel already a little better to have somebody to talk too

(Y/n) : well whatever you have on your mind you can tell me

Helen smiled going on with her story with much less hesitation telling you how she and Manny continued hunting 'monsters' after Pierce 'death' then found out the truth.

Went in the null void too redeem themselfs found Max and Pierce returned to this dimension and went through a few adventures.

At the end of her story she showed the same interest back asking about your life and hobbies, likes/dislikes giving you her full attention even thought your life wasn't half as interesting as her own.

You two started talking about different topics whatever you two came up with to keep the conversation going so you took your chance and asked a little about the plumbers or aliens.

Helen explained whatever she could without giving you too much information or telling you any secrets

She trusted you but she didn't wanna break the rules like that.... even thought they got broken a long time ago

You were amazed by Helen finding her quite amazing, beautifull smart and nice not scared to speak her mind or to watch over others.

Helen found you very friendly she honestly never really got to make friends with her being a alien all with you it went so smoothly.

After probaly a hour of talking you both had finished your food and finished several glasses of drinks still loving each other companion very much.

The longer you two talked or laughed you felt this strange feeling in your heart and a buzz in your head.
Your heart beated loudly maybe a little too loud everytime Helen voice/laugh came into your ear or everytime you got to watch her smile.

You were pretty sure now....... you had fallen in love with Helen

Helen smiled at you placing her glass down

Helen : you know i almost never had this kind of conversations with friends....... back then all i had were Pierce and manny but i never talked to them like this

(Y/n) : what about Gwen, Ben or Max ?

Helen : i had good conversations with Max but not like this..... same goes for Ben and Gwen even Kevin all none were like this (smiles)

You smiled back admitting hanging out with Helen was so much different then anything you ever experienced with new feelings.

After a while you both had no idea how to continue the conversation having discussed a lot already.

Helen : that was fun...... all i should return to work soon im sure they have something for me to

You nodded your head knowing that was true

Helen : i can drive you home with the truck if you want

You nodded seeing it as a good way to spend a few more minutes with Helen.

Helen of course could always try to use her speed to bring your home but she didn't want this to end too soon.

You both went to the truck still the same one that hit you and got in with Helen in the driver seat to drive you back home.

You turned the radio on for a good song while driving over the roads of Bellwood heading to your home

You two simple enjoyed each other company in a comfortable silence enjoying the song that played over the radio and the four that followed.

Helen soon parked the truck infront of your house

Helen : here we are..... thanks for today (y/n) i had fun

(Y/n) : me too

You wanted to ask her if she ever wanted to do something or wanted to go out on a date with you but the fear of rejection killed your voice off.

You stepped out the truck closing the door before heading into your home opening the front door with your keys then vanished inside.

Helen immediately breathed out a little a hand over her heart feeling off, she had this weird sensation she never experienced before and now you were gone it disepeared all she cleared missed you.

Not being a idiot Helen understood what was wrong with her all she had no idea how to deal with it

Helen : i...... i gotta talk to Gwen maybe she can help me

Gwen was smiling her plan worked so fast witnessing Helen wheels pace infront of her inside Gwen living room, her parents wouldn't be home from their date anytime soon so Gwen invited Helen over after Helen called saying she needed to talk to Gwen.

Helen had admitted everything to Gwen like the conversation you two had and how she couldn't focus when you were on her mind, she even confessed she believed she may have fallen in love with you.

Gwen did not speak a word listening to every single word Helen spoke to Gwen who was happy Helen had found a lover and you did too.

Helen : im not sure what to do Gwen i never done this before.... how will it even work im a alien.. he probably doesn't wanna date me

Gwen : Helen i might know (y/n) for just a few weeks but im sure he doesn't care about the alien part

Helen sighned sitting down on the couch her head in her hands.

Gwen : i understand your afraid Helen..... honestly i was scared too when i figured out i was in love with Kevin but in life you gotta take risks

Helen : i know that...... im just not sure about my chances

Helen sighned rubbing her temples wondering why love was so hard, Helen could hack super computers or dodge lasers but this was much harder then any of that.

Gwen : if you ask me you have pretty good chances he is very fond of you

Helen looked at Gwen to make sure she heard it right

Helen : he is ?

Gwen : yes........ Helen take the risk

Helen looked down thinking it over the sound of her own beating heart each beat loud and clear.
Her mind raced with ways to tell you and with different outcomes some good/others bad all she had no idea which one was the most likely to happen between you and her.

Gwen smiled knowing Helen too well Helen wasn't gonna back down even thought love can be very scary.

Helen sighned having made her decision determination in her eyes

Helen : im gonna do it

Gwen smiled grabbing her phone off the table offering it to Helen so she could call you and set up something so you and Helen could confess.

Helen took the phone pressing your number waiting for you to answer which took not too long.

(Y/n) : hello ?.... Gwen ?

Helen : its not Gwen its me Helen

(Y/n) : oh hey Helen .... whats going on ?

Helen : nothing much i.... i just forget something i wanted to say and its really important... could you come outside your house at 23.00 so we can talk ?

The reason she had to ask this was she couldn't go out or be seen so in the dark was her best chance to be able to tell you face to face in the hope you returned her feelings.

(Y/n) : okay?....... i be there

Helen smiled

Helen : see you soon

She hanged up not waiting for a reply smiling knowing very well Gwen looked at her with a smile of her own.

Helen : thank you for the help Gwen

Gwen : always

They smile at each other giving each other a hug happy they were friends.

Helen left Gwen house before Gwen parents would return, Helen spended her time thinking what to say.

When the time came she raced to your house with her speed late at night having luck nobody was outside at this hour.

She easily made it infront of your home waiting patiently under the light of a streetlamp.

After a few minutes you came outside giving a tired smile to Helen kinda wishing you could go to bed but you didn't mind to hear Helen out first.

(Y/n) : hey Helen..... what you wanted to talk about ?

Helen tail swaged left and right since she was nervous thinking about the right words to speak with.

Helen : i first have a question..... how do you see me ?

(Y/n) : what you mean ?

Helen : whats your opion of me ?

Now you started to feel nervous praying you didn't make a fool out of yourself infront of your crush.

(Y/n) : well your awesome..... your a amazing person Helen, smart, brave, fast and nice

Helen smiled a little feeling heat rise on her cheeks just like what happend to you.

Helen : then im just gonna tell you........ i love you

Your entire world vanished leaving you and Helen alone outside under a streetlamp

Helen : i know its fast.... i know we don't know each other long but i have fallen in love with you over this small amount of time

You stared at her right into her eyes feeling happy she loved you back no you felt amazing she loved you back

(Y/n) : i..... i-i love you too

Helen : you do ?

You nodded your head quickly staring into her pure green eyes feeling your heart beat fast and heavy with love if it was gonna explode

Helen had the same feeling not believing you loved her back all she heard it with her own ears.........or however she heard it

Helen stepped forward wrapping her arms around your neck while you wrapped your arms around her waist

You both leaned in and pressed your lips together for a kiss closing your eyes to savor the feeling of your soft lips meeting her own.

Sparks flew between your lips as they moved against each other every second a second of feelings you both never experienced but the feeling was amazing.

You two just stood there in the dark inside the light of a streetlamp kissing not caring about anything else then each other.

You pressed your lips a little harder on Helen lips wanting to kiss every bit of them.

It might be a weird thing to say but maybe getting hit by a truck was the best thing that ever happend to you.
