Daphne is daring character. She's not one for backing down or turning away from something that could prove to be dangerous. She likes to test the odds, See how lucky she can really be. She's defiantly one to accept dares or challenges, she finds such an adrenaline rush in them, she's addicted to it. She has such a good head on her shoulders, but oh how easy she will come undone by the mere suggestion of a whacky stunt.
She'd be the first one to shoot up her hand at the mention of a dangerous quest that could potentially be life threatening. This could tie into her curious nature, but she finds a sense of adventure in doing risky things as well.
She wants to know what she can discover. What she can achieve. What else is out there for her mind to discover and learn about?Besides, she just finds it fun, She has to waste her life away in a boring castle, whatever thing comes her way, she's going to reach out and grab it. She wants a spark in her life, she needs some excitement. She grows tired of the constant pestering from her parents about how to be lady like and how one day she's going to marry.
Not yet, no. She still has some freedom, some will and determination. She's adventurous, she wants to see the world, she wants to inhale the sea breeze and look across golden sand deserts and kick around in the ghost white snow. She has the soul of an explorer and the heart of a warrior. She's not in touch with this century, and she knows she's destined for more than just to be a bride.
Daph can a mischievous Pain in the ass some times, her teachers and handmaids often comment on how much stress and trouble she brings down upon them. Well if only they would loosen up then they wouldn't find such a problem with it! She loves to mess about and act like the young teenager she is. She certainly lets loose when she can. She tends to get up to a lot of schemes and plans with her friends or whoever is up for the ride.
Daphne is the wild child of the family. A wildcard. She doesn't listen to authority, oh she despises it. Her brain is her leader, she has enough to sense to make up her own decisions, even when the world tries to make her follow a narrow lane. She's unpredictable and you never know what'll she'll do next. She likes to be a mystery, having you on your toes at all times. She likes the thought of people not truly knowing her, it's like something out of the many books she reads. intertwining herself with fantasy, a habit she knows all to well. Her life is so boring that she needs to add a spice to it.
She's energetic and acts as if she has no battery. She can run and run, or talk and talk, read and read for ages without pausing to talk a break. She's always jumping on her feet, looking for the next wild adventure she can take or a new subject to learn. Of course, her wild side is one of the reasons she does such crazy stunts and acts the way she does. She's pretty free and lives in the moment, making sure she doesn't regret a second of her life. She has quite the creative outlook on life, seeing the beauty in everything, even if it seems dark or dangerous.
A princess with an attitude, Daph may have her nose in a book and a trick up her sleeve, but she is not the one to pushed around. She is not some fragile damsel in distress in need of saving. She's the next Joan of Arc, a fierce warrior who won't take anything for anyone. She stands up for what she believes in, she'll preach in it if she needs too. She's as stubborn as mule, no matter how much you push, she'll stand her ground and glare at you in disapproval. She doesn't change her mind easily, and once she's set on something, there's no going back. She's headstrong, no one can change her mind. She's a spitfire. She has fire brewing in her lungs, you wouldn't want to stroke it. She has problems with her temper, she'll raise her voice and won't hesitate to bark at you. She knows it isn't ladylike, she doesn't care, her emotions run wild, and she isn't too bothered about taming them all the time.
Daph can fight with words, she reads so many books and historical texts that she's equipped with the most horrid and brilliant insults that the world has ever seen. Her mind is a storm constantly brewing, ready to strike anyone who dares rival her. But with that said, she's held a sword so many times that she has the strength to pack a punch or the knowledge to survive a few rounds in fencing.
Daph has a love of the world. She has the curiosity of a rabbit, sweet and innocent before its starring face to face with a fox. She has so many questions about the world. The past and present. Whatever she gets her hands on she'll yell out all sorts and types of questions, and then she'll read about them of course. She's a bookworm, always carrying some new novel or history book from the archives. She loves filling her head with knowledge, she loves diving back into the past, learning about wars and great battles, about how people lived and strives back then. It's just so amazing to her, she never wants to stop reading or learning. People will often comment about her fascination towards war and the horrors of mankind. It's a morbid curiosity, she'll admit. But what's so terrible about it? Ah right, she's a girl.
She doesn't let that stop her, she continues to read about the pharaohs and emperors that roamed the earth, and the witches who were burned and the prisoners who were hanged.
She's Observant, she takes everything in around her, scanning the room clean to make sure she hasn't left anything behind. No rock unturned! She loves a good mystery and riddle! Anything to get her mind working, anything that proves itself to be a challenge.
This could also be because of her stubborn side, but Daph is one hardworking. She has to be, in a world like this, nobody is going to teach her other than herself. Her thirst for knowledge is what fuels her motivation and drive. She puts everything she's got into her work, often showing her passionate side of things. She loves to write and read stories of all kinds, Filling her head with fantasies and daring scandals that she longs for but will never admit. She can be a bit messy, always jumping from thing to thing, always excited to learn how the clock ticks or why the moon shines.
People tend to overlook Daphne. She's a woman, a princess even. What good is she other than to gain land and bare sons? Her intelligence is doubted, people think she hardly had any. Her blood boils at the thought, but some part of her couldn't help but to laugh. She likes being underestimated sometimes, she enjoys seeing people's face twist once she's bested them in a game of wits and smarts. She knows all sorts of things ranging from bugs to the creation of Hadrians wall. She's as clever as a fox when she wants too. She's one to spot details others brush over, as well as being pretty fast thinking. She's witty, but god can she be sarcastic. She's rebellious, this shouldn't be a surprise by the way she steals her brother's trousers or cuts her dresses short. Her language isn't at all lady like, and she has the mouth of a sailor whenever her vision turns red and her chest starts to heave. She's the girl people warn you to stay away from, a bomb just wanting to explode. Who is the world to tell her how to act? She challenges it, she challenges the rules and the laws that are so determined to chain her down. Daphne likes being a woman, she finds no flaw or error, she sees no weakness in herself. She knows that she's smarter than most of the men that waltzed into the castle, she knows she's stronger than some of the foolish boys that scuttle through the streets like rats. But oh how her mind wonders to the idea... to the fantasy of being a man. Where she could own land, have a job, do whatever she wanted too, be held down by little rules or consequences, mary whoever she wanted when she wanted. She's not that interested in romance, but the thought of a wife sounds so much more pleasant than the thought of a man.
People will call her reckless, and maybe she is to a certain degree. But she knows they're just cautious of her, they ear the unknown, they're not used to a lady who snaps back, to a lady who knows about the trade routs and the four points of sealing, to a lady who won't let herself be defined by some man in a pointed hat.
Daphne does let her mind get away with her sometimes, she is a victim to her impulsive tendencies, but that doesn't downplay how vast and brilliant her mind is. She's intelligent and a fast learner, she knows how lost things are made and crafted, she knows how the world works, she's resourceful as well, being able to use what little she has and to use it to her advantage and it's fullest potential.

-She has a tendency to sneak out of the castle, ride around in the forest, or head to the village in the amazing disguise of a cloak.
-Has been in too many arguments with her parents and maids about her clothes and how mannerisms.

๐๐๐๐๐ฆ:
-History, oh how she's loves the shit out of history. Quiz her about anything and she'll know about it. History never runs out, there's always some new quirky fact or jaw dropping conclusion to the story. It's something she'll never get bored of. Joan of Arc is one of her role models.
-Horses, she'll ride them forever, through the fields and forests and places a lady like herself is not allowed to venture.
-Books, this shouldn't be a surprise, she's always carrying at least one around with her. She loves anything she can get her hand on, mostly everything intrigues her. She'll never admit it, but her guilty pleasure is reading romance novels, they're just so... happy? The thought of love makes her nose scrunch but her insides twist and swoon.
She's grossing herself out.
-men's clothes, sword's,knights
-Painting, she's a gifted artist honestly, she likes to stare at the paintings that deck their great halls, and the statues of women that are littered throughout their many gardens
-Writing, with as much words as she has floating in that head of hers, she needs to release them somewhere, and the page is the perfect place for that.
-Day dreaming, she loves this, she loves slipping away into her own place where she can have whatever she wants. Where she could ail a boat to Greece and explore the city of Athens, or head over to Scotland to hike over their amazing highlands.
-Her brothers, she can always play and talk to them whenever she's bored or annoyed
๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ:
-Rules, Authority. There's always something that has to hold her down isn't there?
-Being told to act more lady like, this is usually from her parents, and she loves them and all, but can they stop trying to fit her into a box that she certainly doesn't match.
-The idea of a husband. She doesn't know what's so appalling about it... she just wants to gag. Men are so.... they're not hideous, but they don't do anything for her. She's always listening to the maids gush and gossip about a knight who threw a rose in their face or something, but Daphne just rolls her eyes and go back to her books.
-Stuck up men who try to tell her what to do, or worse, try and flirt with her
-Coffee, she just hates the taste, it's so bitter
