Chapter Six

Tula knew something was up when Percy ran up to her with mischief sparkling in her sea green eyes. A smirk as painted on her face.

"Tula," Percy said and canne to a stop. "How're you doing?"

"Good," Tula said, her eyes brows furrowing together. "How are you?"

"Good. Really good, actually," Percy said, as long nothing was trying was kill her she was good and she didn't suspect that anything of that sort was going to happen in Atlantis, not soon at least. "We're having a sleepover at Kaldur's house on Friday. Can you come?"

"I would love to!" Tula said, a bright smile on her face. "Is Garth coming?"

"Yup," Percy said. "He is."

Percy couldn't help the rush of excitement that rushed through her body. It was no where close to the feeling of adrenaline she'd felt during her quests. This feeling was more of a comfortable feeling and she welcomed it. Today was Thursday, so she and Kaldur didn't exactly a long time to plan everything out. But then again Percy Jackson wasn't one for planning things.

The day passed slowly as school usually did, but she knew she needed this to also learn to control her powers. For once she didn't absolutely hate school, and it seemed that when she was under water — well, her dyslexia didn't effect her or like Ancient Greek, Atlantean was an exception.

The next day she had enough planned. They would play some games, order pizza, probably watch a movie and Percy found her really excited and happy for the first time in a long time. It felt like thing were finally looking up for her!

After school on Friday she went home and packed her stuff, then she headed over to his house so they could prepare together.

They bought popcorn and chips (which in Atlantis consisted of seaweed, they were rather tasty actually). They rented a few movies, and all was done.

"Percy, what shall we do now?" Kaldur asked, there was still an hour left until Tula and Garth would arrive.

"I don't know," Percy said and shrugged. "I guess we just wait."

"Well, then why don't you tell me a bit more about yourself? Do you have any siblings?"

"Yeah, two brothers. Tyson and uh, Trenton," She answered, quickly finding an name for Triton - she wanted to keep her "true identity" a secret. She wanted to start a new life here in Atlantis, without her past bothering her. If she'd just have said Triton he'd understand that she is who she is, and her past would be brought into it all. "How about you?"

"No, it's just my mother, my father and me," Kaldur said, and smiled at her. Percy felt her heart flutter, and she smiled back.

"That seems nice," She said.

"It is, but at times I wished I had a brother or sister," Kaldur admitted.

"Yeah, I get it," Percy responded. She loved her brothers, even Triton even though she hadn't known his for that long. And Tyson — well, she wouldn't trade him for anything.

Time passed and soon enough they heard a knock on the door. Percy rushed to the door and opened it to see Tula with a smile on her face.

"Come in," Percy said and stepped aside. "Do you know when Garths coming?"

"Anytime now," Tula answered, and only a few minutes later Garth came.

Now they were all here, and it was time for truth or dare.

They sat down in a circle and Percy explained the game to them as they had never played it before. Then they were set.

"Tula," Percy said. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare," Tula replied.

"Alright," Percy smirked. "I dare you to go to pantry. Open it and eat the first thing you see."

"Thats not that bad," Tula said, but quickly took the statement back when she came back with a container of dog food. Well, sea dog food.

"Who keeps dog food in their pantry?" Tula exclaimed as she walked back into the living room.

"Kaldur apparently," Percy said.

Tula sighed, opened the can and took a bug spoonful of the food. Ate it and shuddered from the taste.

"You do know you have to eat the whole thing, right?" Garth said, smiling.

Hey! Im so sorry for the late update, i just havent had the time to write. I hope everyones doing well during these times!
