Chapter 1: Imperial Princess
(AN: This image here is what baby Aurora looks like.)
Aurora sighs as she looks at her baby hands/arms she was holding above herself as she laid in her new crib, an expensive looking mobile hung over it. It's officially been seven months since being born, or rather reborn, and she was still trying to wrap her head around all this.
"It's hard to believe, but there's no denying it... Somehow, after dying in a car accident, I've been reborn as a baby in another world, more specifically the novel Sword of the Royal Blue Rose, as the daughter of Lionel De Vere, now apparently Lionel Vere el Soleil, and Alexander Eliseo el Soleil. Emperor and Empress of the Solaria Empire..." She thinks to herself.
"I'm still a little confused on the details, but from what I gather, sometime after coming to the empire after leaving his home kingdom, Lionel became a knight for the imperial guard then he and Alexander fell in love and got married, making him Empress of the land.
"And due to his unique condition, became pregnant and gave birth to me; Aurora Rosetta el Soleil, princess of Solaria..." Her thought process was cut off as a woman with long blonde hair and light green eyes enters her view. The lady smiles as she reaches down and picks her up.
"Alright Your Highness, it's time to eat." The older female says as she walks toward a rocking chair with the princess in her arms, who notices a table with a baby bottle of milk on top of it.
"Beatrice, my nanny. I don't know much about her other than she's of a noble family who took the position due to her admiration for Lionel and his sword skills." Aurora thought as she looks up at the woman. Before the said woman could sit down though, the door to the room opened and a familiar man with black hair and fuscia eyes walks in, dressed in some sort of uniform and had his sword.
(AN: Lionel's personal imperial knight uniform.)
"Mommy!" Aurora thinks and tries to say, though it comes out as baby babble.
"Glory be to the Silvery Moon of Solaria, Empress Lionel Vere el Soleil." Beatrice greets with a respectful bow.
"Hello, Beatrice. How's my little Rose, doing?" Lionel greets then asks.
"She's doing well, Your Majesty. I was just about to feed her." Beatrice replies, picking up the bottle of milk.
"Allow me, I haven't seen my girl since this morning." The male empress says while holding out his arms, the woman placing baby Aurora in them, who smiles and reaches up for him. "Hey sweetie~... You must be hungry~" He says with a smile then sits down in the rocking chair and starts feeding his daughter.
"It's kind of strange, this isn't really like the Lionel I read about. That Lionel was always guarded and also a bit of a loner, plus always had a neutral expression in order to hide his emotions. But this Lionel is more expressive and seems more cheerful...
"Then again, by the end of the book, he was in a different nation entirely, and a lot's probably happened since he came to Solaria. Including falling in love with someone who accepts him and becoming an empress and mother apparently...
"I wonder if that was the story of the next book. I really wish I could've read it, but that ship has passed." Aurora thought as she drank her milk, eventually finishing the bottle and Lionel went on to burp her.
"Aw, there's my little princess~" He then coos as he holds her up before bringing her down and kissing her on the cheek, making the baby girl giggle.
"Your Majesty, shall I...?" Beatrice asks as she reaches for Aurora, only for the man to stand up while holding the baby away from her.
"Actually, I think I want to spend some time with my daughter. I'm feeling much better after all. You can have the rest of the day off, Beatrice." He says then looks at his daughter with adoration. "Come on, Rose~" He coos and leaves the room.
"Your Majesty!" A voice exclaims and the mother and daughter look up to see a man dressed as a knight with dark brunette hair and jade green eyes, panting as if he'd just a marathon.
"Alaric, I thought I told you to take the day off." Lionel states.
"But Your Majesty, it's my charge as your personal knight to guard you with my life." The brunette, Alaric, states with clear pride.
"Maybe, but I can take care of myself. Last time I checked, you haven't beaten me once since we've met." The male empress states.
"Oh yeah, Lionel was one of the best swordsman of Roselei. Guess he hasn't lost his touch." Aurora recalls.
"True, but I still will perform my duty, the one His Majesty, the Emperor, assigned to me." Alaric says in response, the black haired man sighing.
"All right, you can escort me and Aurora to see Alexander, but after that we'd like some time to ourselves if you please." Lionel permits then states.
"Of course, Your Majesty." The knight replies and begins leading them down the palace hallway.
"Wait, we're going to see Daddy? Yay!" Aurora thought in excitement. Though she didn't read much about him, so far she liked Alexander, for he was loving towards Lionel and of course herself. "Though, Beatrice did tell me a bit about him..." She then remembers.
"Apparently, Alexander was originally the second-son of the previous emperor, Raphael, and also technically a love child born from an affair the man had with a palace singer. The initial/true heir to the throne was his older brother by thirteen years, Crown Prince Augustine Mikhail el Soleil, son of the emperor's official wife, Empress Margaret Bernadotte el Soleil.
"Not much is known about the brothers' relationship with each other, but after the death of Raphael and later Margaret, Augustine ascended to the throne and became emperor and ruler of the realm... However, he was a monster and tyrant, who became paranoid and would execute anyone he so much as suspected to being a traitor to him, and he even imprisoned Alexander.
"However, thanks to Alexander's friend and personal knight, Sir Isaac Lupine, he managed to escape and founded a revolt against his tyrannical brother, eventually killing and usurping him as the emperor. From there on, Alexander went on to lead the nation to new golden age, undoing his brother and father's damage.
"Including making peace with the Lóng Imperium located to the east, which the Solaria Empire had been at war with for some time. It was about a few years later that Lionel arrived in the empire and the two met, leading to Lionel becoming a knight then empress. Which eventually led to Aurora's, aka my birth." She thinks to herself then looks up her mother, her head laying against his chest.
"Either way, though this baby body's a bit incontinent, I'm now an actual girl and also a princess! Who wouldn't be excited about this!? Plus I have really sweet Mom and kind Dad!" She thought and cuddles up to the male empress, who coos to her and hugs her to his being. Just then, they arrived at and stop before a door.
"Glory be to the Silvery Moon and First Star of Solaria, Empress Lionel Vere el Soleil and Princess Aurora Rosetta el Soleil." The two guards in front of said door both greet the mother and daughter.
"Good day to you too. Would you please open the door?" Lionel replies then requests and the two knights open the door, allowing them into the meeting room, where Alexander along with the empire nobles were having a conference. The emperor himself looked bored, before noticing his wife and daughter and his expression immediately brightens.
"Lionel! Aurora!" The blonde man says, rising from his seat and walks over to the two, kissing his daughter on the head then his wife on the lips. "And what brings my two favorite people here?" He asks.
"Oh, we just wanted to see you. Right, sweetie?" Lionel replies then asks his baby daughter, who babbles happily and claps her hands in response.
"Ah, I see! Well, in that case this meeting is adjourned for now. We'll pick this up later everyone." He says and turns to leave with his empress and daughter.
"Your Majesty!" One of the nobles calls.
"Come along now, darling." Alexander says, ignoring them. Isaac Lupine then sighs, Alaric looking just as exasperated.

After leaving the meeting room, the family of three made their way to the palace garden, specifically the gazebo which sat in the middle of the trimmed maze area, surrounded by white, red and pink roses. The emperor and empress along with their princess all sat in the summer house and look at the garden in admiration, when Lionel suddenly sighs.
"Something wrong, my love?" Alexander asks, noticing the down expression on his wife's face.
"I just miss seeing the blue roses of my family's royal garden." The black haired man admits.
"Oh. Feeling homesick." The blonde one says in understanding.
"I mean, it wasn't all bad, but I can never go back... Besides, I don't regret coming here." The male empress states then lifts his little girl up high, making her giggle, Alexander smiling at the exchange.
"May I dear?" He asks while holding out his hands for Aurora, which his wife agrees to, passing their daughter to him. "Hey sweetie~." He says sweetly then places the girl on his knee and starts bouncing her up and down.
"I know this is childless, but it is kind of fun." Aurora thinks, laughing as she's bounced by her father.
"Our little princess~! You love being bounced, don't you~" Alexander coos while Lionel smiles at him, amused by his husband being so affectionate with their baby
"You know, I never thought I'd be here." The black haired man admits. "Empress of another nation, not to mention with the most amazing husband and precious little girl..." He says, leaning over and kissing both Alexander and Aurora on the cheek, making the emperor smile and baby princess giggle.
"I'm glad you came here as well, my love." Alexander says with a loving smile. "I couldn't have asked for a better ruling partner, and the empire couldn't have asked for a better empress." He compliments.
"And I couldn't have asked for a more loving and supportive husband." Lionel says in response, scooting closer and looking at Alexander with loving eyes, who returns the look with his own.
"Mommy and Daddy really are a lovey-dovey couple..." Aurora thinks to herself.
The imperial spent the rest of the afternoon in the beautiful garden paradise, sort of hidden away from the outside world. Eventually, Aurora's baby body caused her to fall asleep as she listened to her parents doting on her and each other.

"Huh? Where am I?" She wonders, suddenly finding herself in a dark place. "How did I...huh?" She asks then pauses when she comes across a reflective surface, and gasps in shock as reflected back was her... Or rather, him! Yuuri, dressed in the school's male uniform and hair cut short. "No! No!" She says, trying to get out of the clothes but it was as if the uniform was stuck to him.
"Look! It's Sissy Ubusuna!" A cruel voice says, an arm and hand pointing at her from within the surrounding darkness.
"As a male student you're required to wear the male uniform." Another voice speaks accompanied by another pointing hand.
"You were born a boy so act like it! Don't you realize how much you're embarrassing me and your father!?" Her mother's shrill voice and hand joined.
"Your mother's right. It's time you grow out of this phase." Her father's voice follows after along with his hand.
"Why don't you understand!? I'm not a boy! I'm a girl! I'm a girl!! I'm a girl!!!" She desperately cries as she crouches down while clutching, unable to take all this as the darkness closes in around her.

Aurora gasped awake, finding herself back in her nursey crib. She breathes a sigh of relief that was all just a dream, when she suddenly hears a sound like crying.
"I should be over this already... But I can't help it! When I look in a mirror, all I see is the demon Mother said I was!" Lionel's distraught voice says.
"Lionel, you're no demon. She may say otherwise, but you are beautiful the way you are." Alexander's kind voice states.
"You... You always say that, and I want to believe you, it's just..." The male empress says in response, tears in his voice.
"I understand, I can't entirely forgot what the former empress and August told me as well, even though you also say otherwise." His husband says, his tone slightly downtrodden.
"I almost forgot... Like me, Lionel suffers from body-dysmorphia, mostly due to his mother's influence. That cruel woman tormented him just because of the way he was born, calling him a demon and abomination of the lord... That b*tch! She's no different than my mother from my previous life..." The baby princess recalls, also remembering her recent nightmare in which she heard her mom's hateful words.
"Don't worry Lionel! I don't care you were born different. I mean, it's because of that I was born in this new life, and it's clear that Alexander thinks the same, and also experienced something similar, I guess... You're safe here. We both are!" She thinks, tears of frustration gathering her eyes as she tries to speak. "Ma-Mama!" She manages to get out.
"Huh? What was that?" Lionel says as the baby heard footsteps approaching her before seeing the face of her new mother looking into her crib at her.
"Ma-ma!" Aurora sniffs and reaches up, making grabby hands at the black haired man, whose eyes widen in surprise as he reaches in and picks up his daughter.
"Did-did you just speak?" He asks in surprise.
"What? Aurora spoke? But, she's only seven months old..." Alexander says as he comes into view. Upon seeing him Aurora knew what to do.
"Mama! Dada!" She says, surprising the imperial couple.
"You did speak! Our precious girl... Growing up so fast..." Lionel says as he holds the baby close to his being with teary eyes. Aurora giggling as she touches her mom's face to comfort him. Alexander himself smiles as he walks over and hugs his wife from behind.
"Indeed she is. Our little princess. As beautiful and special, as her mother." The blonde says, giving wife a kiss on the temple, making the empress smile at his emperor, before both turn to their daughter with loving expressions.
"I'm so happy to have been reborn here. Not only am I a girl, I now have two amazing parents!" Aurora thought in happiness as she snuggles into her parents' embrace.
