- DANGEROUS, CLEVER, and MANIPULATIVE are three words to describe felix. other great examples would be an asshole, anger-issued, and brave.

for starters, felix is very dangerous and oftentimes vengeful to people that have done him wrong in the past. plus not to mention that he is just plain dangerous and scary. he's often unsafe to be around as he is extremely reckless and impulsive. he doesn't always think while he's out as he's always searching for that adrenaline rush. there are days when all he wants to do is have some fun and danger, like jump off roofs to get to the next one or have near-death experiences to feel that adrenaline high. and when he brings people onto those... trips, as he likes to call it, they never know what to expect when around him. he even loves having very risky sex just for the hell of it. it's not so much talked about, but there are rumours of this floating around. he likes to push people till they reach their limits and loves getting people out of their comfort zone to challenge them. 

like safiya, he will make everything into a challenge, yet more aggressively. if you talk to him, he will purposely disagree with you so he can challenge your beliefs and push you to speak your mind. unlike her, this is often what makes people think of him as toxic. his rough nature and how this is perceived by people. he wants to know your morals, your values, why you believe that, why you don't believe that. but he doesn't do it so he can know how your brain works. instead, he does it just to make you angry. half the time he doesn't even believe what he's saying, but he loves getting under people's skin. he loves making people angry as he finds joy in that. he loves keeping people on their toes and make them wonder what's next. he likes to play mind games with people and is very good at doing so.

this is what makes felix so scary. his mind works differently than most and is almost like it's hardwired to act differently. while it's no secret that felix will do anything that mateo garcia asks of him, his best forms of manipulation are with his mind games. instead of going right out and getting his revenge, he will continuously make you think he's about to strike... but never actually does. he will make them so paranoid that eventually it breaks their sanity and he does it without any care. his whole method is to watch them break-down because where's the fun in just getting his revenge without causing someone to lose their mind first?

but felix isn't all bad... at least not to him. felix is very smart which is shocking to most people. he's clever and calculating and he actually does carefully plot his moves. he often acts in a scheming and ruthlessly determined way which is often named cunning and shrewd. he can figure out almost any situation he puts himself in, but it doesn't necessarily mean he has the required knowledge. however, but he's handy, so he can always solve whatever comes his way. he often gets what she wants in a clever and often deceptive way. he is willing to use subtlety, subterfuge, and trickery to manipulate others and get what he wants, and is not afraid to do so. 

what makes felix so infuriating is not only is he an asshole, he has to be charming, too. there's something about felix that draws people in, whether it be his good looks or charm, people can't help but want to be near him. he has the bad boy type of vibe, and everyone loves a bad boy. felix has a way with words that can make you weak in the legs. he knows that he's attractive and uses it to his advantage. he loves being able to charm his way into and out of situations. if you are close to him, and you are in some trouble and can't get out of it? felix will be able to just with his words and persuasiveness. 

however, if you looked in a dictionary for the word 'asshole', felix's face would pop up, flashing a devilish smile. felix actually thinks the world needs its fair share of assholes, and that being an asshole is a life skill. because felix is okay with being disliked and/or upsetting other people. he's rude and cold towards new people and those that he doesn't like. he has walls built up 10 ft tall with titanium, but it's only for survival. the fewer people that like him, the better.

felix comes from a fucked up childhood, so the trauma that felix carries is deep within his eyes. he suffers from PTSD and often makes dark jokes about his past as a way of coping. while for some it may seem wrong or disturbing that he does so, it was an important part of his healing process, and it's one of the only ways he can actually be truly open with someone. however, this does not happen often as he only does so with people that he has close bonds with.

felix is stubborn. and this isn't really a shocker to most. he rarely ever changes his views or ideas because he thinks they are perfect. he never wants to do what someone tells him and is determined to do what he wants and will refuse to do anything else. he often has huge arguments because he's so goddamn stubborn and doesn't know when to give up or when to back down. this is both good and bad depending on who you ask. he knows what he wants in life, and no one can take him off of that.

felix is highly straightforward. he lets you know exactly what he's thinking no questions asked. he's considered brutally honest and will give you honesty even when you don't need it or want it. he's so honest to the point that he does it without any regard to the person's feelings. that said, felix is very opinionated. he always speaks his mind and is certain about his beliefs, and expresses his ideas strongly and often. he voices his concerns at all times and if you don't like it, well, that sounds like a you problem. he knows that if you want your dreams to come true, you have to take action. things won't become yours if you don't take action, and that's what felix thinks.

as stated before, felix is always down for something fun, and you can count on felix to always be there. whether it's at a party or just a hang out with friends. he's known for being talkative if he likes you and it's always witty, comical, and very sarcastic. he's never seen having a boring conversation about the weather; he's always partaking in deep conversations about life, and he absolutely hates small talk. 

he loves asking questions and getting to know the person that is in front of him. he's a great listener and is actually amazing at giving advice to anyone that needs it. he knows his facts and will give them to you straight. he gives that sort of 'tough love' type of feel, and he's always there when you need it.

people often joke that felix loves mysteries so much, that he became one... and well, that was kind of the truth. which ties into his somewhat secretive, mysterious nature, and shutting off others from knowing much about his life before. his childhood is fucked, and he often shuts the conversation when it comes up, and automatically changes the subject. he'll give you some details, but anything that has to do with the dark and messed up stuff is a no. 

though, that it is not his fault. he was just born into a household that didn't care for him, and because of that had to be strong. he just hates being vulnerable and absolutely hates putting his problems onto other people. he rather works them out on his own than have someone else help/do it for him. he finds it a bit hard to open up to people about his feelings, and rather keeps to himself other than getting hurt in the end from letting a lot of people in.

felix is also selfish. he was obsessed with how decisions will affect his future and the choices that he makes will decide what happens to him. that preoccupation with himself, is often made people think he was selfish. he honestly wants to put people ahead of him, he just can't. it's him first, and then everyone else. because if he doesn't protect himself, who else will? that, and he genuinely is selfish. he wants the best for him, and sometimes that means doing the most to get it.

he does care about some people though, and when you need him, felix will always be there. whether it's one call away. he is known for his loyalty for friendships, and his loyalty towards mateo gracia. he will stick by you till the very end, and even then, when you have a falling out, he will never tell anyone the secrets you told him.

felix is the opposite of levelheaded. the smallest things can tick him off and he'll be pissed. it's not like he tries to, however, it just happens. he will nip and complain, and snap at the smallest of things but that is only because he cares. he knows that they are bad, and he's trying to cool it and get better when dealing with his anger. but when you see felix mad, you better run as hell breaks loose. he is scary when he's mad. his eyes will turn darker, he will break things, throw things, punch/kick things. he's definitely not passive, but aggressive. the whole thing coming from his dad. he was often brash and hotheaded, snapping at the smallest of things that his step-mom would do. his anger issues and aggressiveness are because that's only what he knows.

felix is extremely brave though, yet that's kind of obvious. he often shows mental/moral strength when he faces danger, fear, or difficulty. he will do anything someone asks no questions. he will do any dare and if you want to have fun and live a little, call felix, because while it could be scary, you'll always have fun in the end. so where the harm in that? 

however, every man that has a wall built up 10 ft tall with titanium has a weakness. and his weakness is dominique bordeaux. 

what started off as a one night stand, quickly turned into something more. something deeper. and while it may not seem like it on the outside, felix does actually care for her. but since he never got any love growing up, hell, even seen a healthy relationship before, he doesn't know how to show it, nor does he know the relationship is quite toxic itself. he feels like he could never truly be loved by someone because his life is so fucked up, that he tends to self-sabotage himself a lot. when something is going right in his life, he will ruin it because he thinks he is unworthy, which is how it often plays out in his relationship with dominique.

he cares for her and he wants what's best for her, but he knows that he is not the right person for her. he knows that dominique can do a lot better than some thug that's probably going to end up in jail. he knows it, he thinks she knows it, hell, he thinks everyone knows it, but for some reason, dominique seems to think that he is a nice guy, and he doesn't want to ruin it. but he fails miserably. 

while felix may be loyal towards mateo garcia, he is not so loyal towards dominique. it's part of his whole self-sabotage thing, to ruin the one thing in his life that felix actually likes, he goes and cheats on his girlfriend. maybe its because if he cheats on her, it will actually give her a reason to hate him and break up with him. and while he loves their intimate nights, the attention he gets from her, and the few times where they actually aren't toxic towards each other and there's just love, he goes and ruins it by hooking up with other women. 

he knows it's bad, but he can't help it. maybe felix is just addicted to the drama. or maybe he's simply addicted to their toxic relationship, but whatever the case is, he is drawn to her and is willing to stay no matter how bad it may be. the only question for felix is, how long will dominique stay until she leaves him ? how long will she last until she's gone like everybody else ? and that's a question felix is not sure he wants the answer to.

***TRIGGER WARNING: abuse

- felix perrin was born and raised in murcia, spain, and was an only child to his parents faron and adriana. 

his mother adriana died giving birth to felix as she was too weak, and left faron to take care of his son on his own.

growing up, faron had a hard time with his alcoholic and anger issues. from fighting in the rif war, his father had experienced extreme trauma and would use alcohol as a way to cope with both the loss of his wife and past experiences. his dad lost control over his actions and he often would abuse and hit felix on a daily basis.

his father had gotten remarried to felix's step mom named gabriella when he was five. felix also saw his dad abuse gabriella and would also hit felix as well. whether it was physically, mentally, or emotionally, he saw it all/experienced it happen. especially when he tried to stick up to his father and try and beg him to stop hurting her. gabriella's screams of pain and cries of torture of begging him to stop will forever haunt felix's brain. and the scars on felix's skin are a permanent reminder of his dark childhood.

but, faron never stopped. never once did he ever see his dad stop, almost like he couldn't feel other people's pain. everyday he would just come home and beat both his wife and son. so, when he was eleven almost twelve-years-old, he tried to convince his parents to get divorced. at first, faron was against it, but gabriella wanted to leave more than anything. so, one day she brought a lawyer to their case and somehow, some miracle, had won, she put a restraining order on her husband and she fled to france when he was fifteen.

he had to watch his mom struggle to put food on the plate for him. gabriella often skipped meals during this time because her step-kid was more important in her mind. however, gabriella could no longer afford to raise felix so she kicked him out.

for years, felix had lived off the streets stealing almost anything he could to survive. one day, he ended up going into an alleyway. it was one of his worst decisions because one of the 18th street gang members found him. felix got beat up from walking into their territory and he thought he was going to die. which, felix secretly hoped for because he had nothing left to live for. they aimed a gun right at his chest, and 'bam' they heard a yell. they all turned around, and it was a worker for mateo garcia.

they were already planning on coming over here, and he just so happened to be extremely lucky. he saved him, and he took felix to their base. they told him he could either join them or he died. that he owed him back because he saved his life. he then said that it would make great money, and felix was sold.

ever since that day, felix had been working for mateo and is grateful for him which is why felix is so loyal towards mateo. they taught him how to fight, and soon he was one of them. but mateo still had his hatred for the world, which lead him to become way more dangerous. the more dangerous, the better. and eventually, he was promoted to mateo's right-hand man and has been there ever since.

— sexism
- felix isn't inherently sexist, yet his views definitely would be considered sexist today. he did grow up in spain, where, in the 1930s, women had no rights or control over themselves and men got to control them. he does believe that there are certain jobs that are for men and women, as men are realistically stronger than women. however, working next to valerie in the garcia cartel did make him change his views on females. he does think that if you are in for a cartel-beating, you're in for a cartel-beating. however, he does think that women should be feminine, beautiful, and hairless.

— homophobia
- felix doesn't really care what you do. if he still lived with his dad, he would be homophobic, but living on the streets really changes your point of view. he doesn't really see anything wrong with it as long as they aren't being abusive

— racism
- felix isn't racist. plain and simple. he's tired of being discriminated against, and he's tired of their bullshit. he will go off on you if you are racist, no questions about it. it makes his blood boil and is one of the moments where felix's anger takes over and he just blacks out.

— sex, drugs, drinking
- all three things which felix does on a daily. first of all, he did avoid drinking growing up due to his past. however, just like his dad, he did learn that alcohol was a great distraction from everything that is going wrong with the world. drugs he is fine with because he's literally in a drug trade. he doesn't do horse tranquillizers or anything like that, but marijuana, cocaine, and LSD are things that he does. heroin freaks him out because he lowkey hates needles. and finally, sex? hell, he is no virgin. he is really into risky sex and into BDSM as well. but hey, at least it's fun for him and dominique right ? and, well, the occasional girl he hookup with.
