--Few weeks after the wedding--

"What do you mean you don't want to watch it?" Jungkook furrows his brows.

Chaeyoung shrugs. "Because I've already watched it?"

"You watched 500 Days of Summer every day," he deadpans.

"I don't watch it every day," she argues. Chaeyoung avoids looking at him, scrutinizing her nails instead. "I watch it often because I like it more than The Notebook."

When she turns to Jungkook who's sitting on the end of the couch, he's eyeing her suspiciously. She lifts her brow. "What?"

"Whatever, you'll watch it with me," he says with a shrug.

"Nope," she says, shaking her head as she stands to her two feet. "I'm not gonna watch it." She tries to escape to her room but Jungkook catches her, pulling her into his lap and she burst into giggles while trying to free herself.

"You're not going anywhere," he chuckles before Chaeyoung feels him burying his face to her back.

Chaeyoung ends up watching it with him, refusing to sit closer to him during the whole movie. When Jungkook asks her if there's something wrong, she just shakes her head, zipping her mouth. It's at that particular scene when she immediately looks away, almost burying her face into the pillow in embarrassment at the characters' bed scene. She had felt embarrassed watching it alone, and Jungkook's presence doesn't help to lessen it at all.

She feels Jungkook's eyes on her and she slowly turns her head to look at him. He's smirking at her, humming long as he nods his head in slow motion. She groans, throwing the pillow she's holding towards him and it hits his face.

Jungkook laughs in return. "What's that for?!"

"You're so annoying," she says with a smile almost making an appearance on her face as she sinks into the couch.

"What? I didn't say anything!"

"You're smiling at me!" She can't help the chuckle leaving her.

Jungkook feigns hurt and disbelief. "How is smiling annoying??"

"You're smiling creepily at me at a love scene!"

He laughs harder. "Is this why you don't want to watch it?" he smirks.

She bites her cheeks, looks away from him when she feels that her face is reddening when she feels a warm hand circling over her ankle. Chaeyoung's loud gasp escapes her when Jungkook pulls her leg in a jerk, causing her to glide on the couch before he crawls on top of her, hovering over her with a smirk on his face and she feels her heart beating wildly on her face.

"This is creepy," Jungkook says with a low voice.

Chaeyoung finds herself biting her lower lip before she grins and eventually laughs as she wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him into a kiss. They laugh into the kiss before he pulls back, propping himself on one elbow while his other hand gently caresses her waist and slowly, he dips down again and Chaeyoung's hands instantaneously hold his face, her fingers knotting his hair. The kiss starts very gently until she's pushing him so they can switch their positions, forgetting that they're on a couch.

Jungkook falls onto the floor together with her on top of him. Chaeyoung's laughter rings in the house while Jungkook groans, holding his head. He squeezes his eyes shut, his finger pointing to his head.

"Concussion," he says.

Chaeyoung laughs even louder before she forces herself to stop laughing though the grin stays on her face as she reaches to his head, gently massaging it with her thumb. "You're not having a concussion," she giggles and softly pecks his lips, to which he returns with a smile.

Jungkook is determined to finish the movie, and they are cuddled up on the floor. She is not even focusing on the movie as she buries herself in the thought of how Jungkook is propping his head on his palm as he is spooning her, and occasionally, her hand subconsciously searches for his that's resting on her stomach.

"Jungkook." Her eyes downcast as she stares at her own finger playing with his thumb on her stomach. When he hums in response, Chaeyoung closes her hand around his thumb tightly before she brings his hand upward and tucking it under chin. "I'm sleepy," she softly says.

"Okay," he casually says. "But can I leave after the movie is finished?"

She's a bit thankful that she's not facing him so he doesn't have to see the pout forming on her lips. Chaeyoung lightly huffs as she gently gets up. "You can leave whenever you want."

"Alright, that means I can leave tomorrow morning. Just in case, if I actually fell asleep," he says with their hands still interlocked even when she's already standing up. "Can I have the couch then?"

She furrows her brows. "Why the couch?"

Jungkook lets her hand go and places his palm on his chest, making a face at her. "You only allow me to sleep on the floor? That's mean."

"I didn't mean the floor!" she defends herself before avoiding his eyes and swallowing. "I mean, we can...share the bed. I don't mind." She doesn't wait for any response, feeling her face slightly warming up as she turns around and starts to walk away before she hears Jungkook yawning and it's so obvious how he's exaggerating it.

"You know what," he says from the living room and Chaeyoung bites her lip, almost smiling. "I'm probably sleepy too."

It's only a few seconds apart before Chaeyoung hears his footfalls. She decides to stand in the doorway, grinning widely when she catches him running towards the room before he pauses when he spots her crossing her arms. Jungkook chuckles, slowly approaches her.

"The movie can't end that fast," she says when he's a foot apart.

"I can finish it on any other day." His hands snake around her waist. "Are you really sleepy?"

Truth is, she's not that sleepy. She figures that she told him that just so she can let him know that he's allowed to sleep on her bed and she wants him to stay without making it obvious.

"Why?" she asks, biting her lower lip.

Jungkook hums, his lips forming a smirk. "Nothing, just that, maybe if you're not sleepy..." he pauses and lowers his head, tilting it and Chaeyoung shuts her eyes for a second when he presses a soft kiss on her neck. "Maybe we can..." Another kiss on the other side of her neck. "Do other things, you know?"

Chaeyoung unfolds her arms, shaking her head as she giggles.

"Of course, only if you-"

She closes the distance, her fingers curling around the collar of his shirt as she tugs him close. Chaeyoung is about to pull away from the soft kiss when she feels Jungkook's fingers knotting in her hair, and the next thing she realizes is Jungkook leading her backwards before there's the soft click of the bedroom door. When he finally lets her detach their lips, Chaeyoung feels the oxygen filling her lungs.

"Only if you want it," he says gently, his smile is soft.

Chaeyoung slowly encircle her arms around his neck as she swallows, nodding gently at him. "Let's do other things."

*

Jungkook groans as he stretches himself on the bed. Chaeyoung has woken him up from the deep slumber. He cracks his eyes open slowly and can't help the smile to break into his face when he's face-to-face with Chaeyoung whose face is hovering over him.

"Babe, what are you doing?" he croaks.

"You sleep like a log," she says, concern drawing on her face. "I've been trying to wake you up for almost ten minutes."

"That long?" he lifts a brow and she nods with a pout. Jungkook grins. "Maybe because I had the best night ever."

Chaeyoung doesn't respond to that, her face is obviously flushed as she looks away and before she can do anything, Jungkook pulls her into his lap. Chaeyoung doesn't protest when he gets up to a sitting position and kisses her exposed neck before he moves his lips to her shoulder, nipping lightly at the skin.

"Jungkook..." she breathes, and his mind subconsciously reminisces how his name had fallen off her lips last night when they reached their highs. "I don't think we should do this now."

"Why not?" he mutters against her shoulder, his fingers squeezing her hips gently. "We don't have anything to do."

Chaeyoung's breath is shaky when drops his lips to just below her collarbone. "Stop," she breathes.

"I don't see you pushing me away." Right after he said it, Chaeyoung begins to push herself off him, but he knows how she's not even trying. He chuckles and pulls back, but his hands stay on her hip, his thumb lightly grazing the soft skin.

Chaeyoung pulls the blanket to cover her body as she continues to straddle his lap. Jungkook lifts his brow teasingly at her, and Chaeyoung mutters a shy 'shut up'. She looks at him for a moment before she smiles and leans for a soft kiss.

"Care to explain why we can't stay on bed all day?" he asks.

"Um. Well... I'm having-"

"You're having my baby?"

"What?" Chaeyoung's eyes widen and her cheeks blush a beet red. She pushes his chest roughly. "No! Are you crazy? It can't- It's imposs-"

Jungkook laughs hard. "I know. I'm just teasing. Can't be that you're already having my baby after just last night."

Chaeyoung huffs in annoyance as she gets off his lap, crawling to the other side of the bed with the blanket pressed close to her chest. "I'm having guests in less than an hour. Jimin just got back from Japan and he's gonna swing by to drop me the gifts he bought. And Taehyung is tagging along."

"What?" Jungkook's voice goes a tone higher. "Can't it be tomorrow or something?"

Chaeyoung turns to him with her brows dipping, throwing him small smile as she slides off the bed. "If Taehyung and Jimin said they're coming, they'll really come even if I said no."

Jungkook sighs heavily, muttering a low 'fine'. "Can't even have a sweet moment with my girlfriend in peace."

She laughs softly before it fades, her brows furrowing. "Oh...um... I think they will interrogate you."

"Did I do something wrong?" Jungkook asks.

"No, but they did that when I got a boyfriend after my breakup with Charcoal," she says with a shrug and smiles softly after that. "They're like my brothers."

Jungkook's eyes slightly widen in surprise. Not at the fact that she referred to her friends as her brothers. That's normal.

She just referred to Chanyeol as Charcoal, and Jungkook doesn't expect to feel an unsurmountable amount of happiness at that alone. It just further reminds him of how he managed to help her to move on from Chanyeol who had trapped her in that haunted feeling for two years. He feels a sense of pride in himself.

It's adorable, he thinks, that everyone who truly cares about her would go to that extent after her bitter past. Honestly, who wouldn't? he questions himself. Maybe Chaeyoung just has that vibe to make people care about her and make them want to protect her at all costs. Even he felt protective over her when they'd first met outside of The Agust's Tavern the night she was drunk when they basically didn't know each other back then. Only fools like Chanyeol wouldn't.

Some people may call it fate, some may call it destiny, he doesn't really care what it actually is because it could be both. He's just so grateful that their paths crossed although it's in a way that he never had expected to be how he'd meet the love of his life. He slightly cringes mentally at how early it is that he's willing to call Chaeyoung the love of his life when they had just known each other for slightly over a month. There's so many things about her that he doesn't know yet, and he can't wait to learn about each of them.

He didn't lie, though, and he wasn't only saying it when he told her that he'd lost his heart to her. Jungkook doesn't know how exactly it happened. He had only realized how Chaeyoung has been consuming his thoughts a lot, and Jungkook remembered stumbling upon a really nice quote on the Internet saying that that is exactly the consequence of giving at least a piece of your heart to someone.

Jungkook gets off the bed and follows her from behind as she approaches her closet. "Should I prepare for something?"

Chaeyoung turns around with her mouth opened before she closes it and smiles at him. Biting her lips, she steps towards him and hangs her arms on his shoulders. "I think you don't need to prepare anything. You'll be fine answering any question without help, I think." She pecks him softly on the lips.

Jungkook smirks. "You think so? What if they ask me; what do you like about Chayeoung? And I give them an answer that you don't approve."

Chaeyoung makes a thinking face. "Well, that's really the question that they usually asked. How will you answer them that?"

"Let me see," he looks up for a moment. "Ah... Well, I can say that I love it when you snore in your sleep."

Chaeyoung's jaw drops as she stares at him in disbelief. "I don't snore in my sleep!"

"Oh?" Jungkook tilts his head. "How would you know if you're sleeping?"

She narrows her eyes momentarily to see if he's lying. "Do I really snore?"

"Next time I can record it as proof."

Chaeyoung breaks into soft giggles. "No! Don't you dare." Her fingers were twirling his hair as she shyly asks, "Well, is it bad?"

"Nah, not really. You gotta listen closely to hear it."

"That doesn't count as a snore," she hisses with a scowl. "It's just a tiny breathing sound I make when I sleep!"

Jungkook snorts at her. "Well, that tiny breathing sound you make when you sleep is called snore."

"Whatever," she mutters. "Well, you sleep with your mouth opened."

"That's what you like about me?" Jungkook smirks.

"That's not what I said," she deadpans.

"You hate it, then?"

Chaeyoung scrunches her face. "No, I didn't say I hate it!" She groans in frustration. "I'm fine with it. Hey, this isn't about what I like about you! It's what you like about me!" She drops her arms from his shoulders and folds it over her front. "That's the only thing that you like about me? My snore?"

"It's one of the many things," he beams.

"What are the others?"

"You'll know later," he grins.

Chaeyoung complains that she wants to listen to everything but Jungkook reminds her that they're running out of time before her friends arrive and Chaeyoung immediately gasps as she checks the time and runs off to take her shower. Then, her head peeks out of the door as he is trying to locate where his pants are.

"Jungkook?"

"Yes, baby?"

"Um..."

"Do you need your towel?" he asks.

"No, um..." she stills for a moment. "I think they'll be here soon."

"You want me to block the door or something?"

"Um. You... you want to join me?" she avoids his eyes, looking at the floor. "To save- um... to save time."

Jungkook freezes briefly before a playful grin surfaces on his face as his feet begin to move. "Thought you'd never asked."
