Season 1 Recap!

Episode 1:

Everybody arrived back at school, unpacking their things and getting to know their dorm mates. The school is ripe with energy and laughter, the halls are full of excited students ready to get back to the school and being training again. Some for their very first, or last year.

Episode 2:

The year begins with some casual lessons, but most students are already up to mischief. Maggie attempts to hack into the virtual prison but it promptly stopped for some unknown reason. Through out the day, students experience the simulations again, going through all their lessons as if nothing had changed. Unfortunately there seemed to be a problem with the Third Year's simulation, leading them to leave it early. Fortunately, nobody is over thinking it and it was labelled as a simple mistake.
At the end of the day, the fourth years host a movie night in the woods, leading to Oliver and Tai-Lee's first kiss and lots of excited spectators. It doesn't take long though, for the excitement to die down and everyone finally gets back to school, a joyful atmosphere spreading around the students.

Episode 3:
Halloween day is full of bright colours and costumes as relationships spark and excitement flurries on the grounds of Bellator. Unfortunately, there's be an eerie feeling in the air, that might not be related to the monstrous decorations.
That very morning, the fourth years are sent for a jog around the school grounds, leading them through the trees. As soon as the mist clears, the group spot a shining light in the distance, beautiful and enchanting. It seems to be calling them towards it and most of them are extremely tempted to go, some of them almost do. But the light disappears and they all snap back to reality, carrying an injured Tai-Lee back to school.
Later that day, the Third Years enter a Halloween themed simulation, intent on scaring them and causing them to exit the game upon their own accord. It doesn't seem to go to plan however, when they end up in a cave with a shining light at the end. It seems familiar and comforting, persuading them to come closer. Yet once again, they manage to stop themselves. One by one, the students are pulled out of the simulation by the headmaster and sent to the medical wing.
They go through interviews, tests and many more before they're allowed to head down to the town with the rest of the school.

Episode 4:

Many students went home, wanting to be safe with their family rather then taking a risk and staying at Bellator.
Friendships were broken and the school seems quieter then usual, but somehow spirits remain high.
The fourth years have been through things, they ask questions, do research and have help that the other students don't. They understand more then any other kids, and they decided not to keep it to themselves. With the help from Samuel Erou and Joy Thompson (partners that work as warriors together), they now have a better understand of the situation and hold a meeting in 1L27. They chose not to keep the others in the dark.

Episode 5:
Joy Thompson had vanished in the woods, only a few students had witnessed it and her body appeared a few hours later.
The school had an eerie feel about it, everyone was on edge, but it was strangely silent.
The meetings in 1L27 continued and friendships continue to flourish. The teachers are secretive, but the students seem to be more preoccupied with finding a date for the upcoming dance.
Almost all electricity has been banned in the town, but students are still allowed to visit when they stay in their groups. Luckily, nothing happens.

Episode 6:

The dance. An event that's been looming over the students like a sword tied loosely above their heads. Sit on the thrown, but don't see the true horrors that await then.
The night it spent dancing, celebrating, eating, drinking, singing. It's the happiest everyone has been for a long time.
Eventually Eden steps up to the stage, viola in hand to play the final song. The crowd listen respectfully, some dance, some step outside.
When suddenly the lights go out, screams fill the room and body's can be heard hitting the floor.
When they regain light, Nadia, Al, Elliot and Maggie can be seen unconscious on the ground, each separate and scattered across the venue. With no obvious reason as to why...

Episode 7:

It's been a month. The students return to their first day back at school after Christmas break. The snow is melting. Nothing has been the same since the dance and security has never been as high as it was right then. Some people didn't come back.
Liam's been having more visions, in fact, he's been having them for a while, but has finally spoke up. He tells the other fourth years, and a couple first years of an island. Something in the virtual world, and the comatose students are there. They can see him.
And then, another idea strikes. All the third years that went into a coma had one thing in common. An earpiece, something they couldn't remove, that had a white flashing light. There was something familiar about it.
They approach the headmaster, explain their information and expect something in return, instead they receive the grim news they'd been dreading. He already knew. Most people already knew. And the worst part? They weren't doing anything to stop it.
With that, Liam, Theo, Tai-Lee, Oliver, Nate, Alyssa, Ema and Nike leave the school, heading for the hospital.

Meanwhile, two teams of second and third years enter the simulation.
...
They don't wake up.

Episode 8:

Everyone has been pushed into a simulation, this time, the First and Fourth years have too. And Bellator is now empty.

It's up to them what happens next.
