"Why would you promise them that?!" Mal screamed at Hades that night.

"Because I'm getting my ember back." Hades said.

"You don't know where it is."

"It's on the island." Hades said. "I have servents that can help me look for it, I'm not losing her again."

"And what are you gonna do if she's not yours?"

"It is her I just know it, that's mine and Agatha's daughter."

"You left me when I was a baby."

"You were three and a total mommy's girl, face it Mal you and I were never close."

"And what happens if the ember doesn't work and we have very angry demons to deal with?" Mal asked.

"Well you're the queen so I guess it will be your problem."

"Well then as queen I order you not to do this."

"Too late already got permission from the king." Hades grinned.

"What?!"

"Ben, your husband, you remember him?" Hades said. "Turns out he really cares about his half sister in law."

"We have no proof she's my sister."

"How much more proof do you need?"

"Well you're getting everyone's hopes up."

"I know I'm right about this, Agathe's gone and she would want me to make sure our daughter was ok."

"And then what?" Mal asked. "You're gonna tell her demon family that you wanna take her away from them?"

"No."

"Then what?"

"I'm gonna tell them the truth and we'll figure something out from there. They might be demons but they're reasonable."

"You're in way over your head." Mal told him.

"I'm being a father Maleficent." Hades said before walking out and leaving a stunned Mal behind.

Hades walked over to Belladonna's room and knocked.

"Coming!" Angel sang out before opening the door. "Hey there rockstar, got that thing that can give my baby a voice?"

"Not yet, I'm sending a search party." Hades told him.

"Oh I'm so excited." Angel jumped up and down. "I always felt so bad that her parents are in the show biz and she didn't have a voice to do it. We didn't tell the family yet, we want it to be a surprise, Al just told them that the three of us are together again. I can just see my brother's face when she speaks."

"Who is it darling?" Alastor asked as he walked over.

"It's the guy that said he knows a way to get Belladonna to get a voice."

"Hades." Hades introduced himself.

"Hmm." Alastor looked him up and down. "Have we met before?"

"Pretty sure I would remember you." Hades said.

"Ah yes I suppose I leave quite an impression." Alastor laughed.

"Damn right, no one ever forgets him." Angel said while wrapping his arms around Alastor's neck. "He's got that sexy terrifying look."

"Do you ever stop smiling?" Hades asked.

"Of course not, you're never fully dressed without one." Alastor answered before turning back to Belladonna. "Excuse me, Belladonna requires my attention."

"Kinda old school huh?" Hades asked.

"You have no idea." Angel rolled his eyes. "Didn't get a phone until after we got our daughter. But I love him, he treats us right. So what exactly is this thing?"

"A powerful ember."

"A rock is gonna heal my baby and give her a voice to finally talk with?" Angel asked.

"It's not just a rock and the queen used it to defeat this power crazy brat."

"So why doesn't the queen have it?"

"She hid it." Hades answered.

"Knew I didn't like that bitch." Angel scoffed. "Well let me know when you find it." With that Angel closed the door and turned back to his family.

"There's something about that man." Alastor said as he helped Belladonna get into a more comfortable position on her bed.

"He's not the weirdest one here, his eyes must be sensitive or something cause he never takes off his sunglasses." Angel shrugged.

"Hmm, I see." Alastor said as his eyes became static.
