I woke up on the floor. I looked around my room to see someone standing over me, feeling my head.

I jump up and run to the other side of my room trying to open up my window to jump out.

Like Sidney, in Scream, she jumps out the window to get away from Scream so she can live.

The figure comes toward me and only then do I realize that it was Edward.

He looks concerned and I immediately feel like an idiot. I just made a whole scene!

"Oh Edward! I'm so sorry I just.....I guess I had a bad dream."

My mind went to Cassie. She was here. She threatened me. She's going to kill me. No! Edward won't let that happen.

"Did you get sick last night?" He asked looking at the dry puke on my floor, all over my shirt and in my hair.

I nodded. I couldn't tell him about Cassie because she threatened Jacob. As long as he is safe, I am happy.

"I'm sorry about that. Now why don't you get into the shower and when you're done, come outside. I have a surprise for you."

I stare at him but follow his directions. I go into the bathroom and I take off my shirt. I see bruises on my side.

I touch it and flinch. Gosh that hurt!! I get into the shower, hoping that the hot water will help with the sting of my bruises, it didn't!

I cried in pain and turned the water cold. To my surprise, it numbed the pain a little.

For the rest of the shower, I endured the ice cold water until I was finally done.

I got out of the shower and the chill of the front door opening and closing immediately hit my, already, freezing skin.

I shiver and run to my room to change. I see clothes on my bed. A blue and gray baseball tee with leggings or a white Save Ferris tee.

I pick Ferris! That's one of my favorite movies and I forgot I had it.

I throw on random ankle high socks and my pink high top converse. As soon as both sneakers are on, I run downstairs, excited for the surprise.

Edward has always been great with surprises! Whether its a gift or news. I get outside and look around.

I see Edward smiling at me. Did I miss something? Where is that surprise! Edward puts his hand out and I hold his hand.

"Come with me."

He guides me into the greeny forest next to my house. I start tripping over sticks and holes as soon as we get of the trail.

After a minute of tripping and falling, Edward finally picks me up and puts me in his arms.

"I had to do that or else you wouldn't have lived to see the surprise." He said with a straight face and a dazzling smile.

"Ha ha very funny!" I say sarcastically while punching him on his chest.

We get to the spot where Edward first tells me he is a vampire. Like last time, there is a sun beam coming out through the branches.

Edward positions me ten feet away from the beam. He releases his hand from our grasp and stands with a camera. He walks to the middle, between the sun and I, then makes his way to the side.

I tilt my head in confusion.

"Just close your eyes." Edward says soothingly.

I obediently close my eyes. I want to find out what this surprise is. I hear footsteps and get shaky.

Last time I heard footsteps, Cassie hurt, threatened and internally killed me! I take deep breaths. Edward would never put me in danger, I trust him.

Edward then speaks.

"Bella?"

"Yes?" I answer.

"You can open your eyes now."

I slowly open my eyes.

I see Jacob in the sunlight. He's holding yellow flowers meaning friendship. I look at Edward. I was afraid that if I went to Jake, he'd disappear into my imagination.

Edward nodded back at me. I then knew it was safe.

I ran to Jake.

"Jacob!!!" I squeal while running to him.

Jacob grasps me in his arms.

"I've missed you so much." I say rubbing his arms.

He makes a pain-filled noise. I step back and look at him.

"I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" I ask. Tears were in my eyes. I was more than happy to see him.

"Yeah. I just got a cut and needed stitches. You rubbed on my stitches a little, which made it hurt, but I can assure you that I'm fine." He smiles.

"Who cut you?" I ask, my insides were filling with anger.

Jacob looks at Edward. He then gets a sad look on his face but it changes to anger.

"It was Cassie. She cut me with her nail and then whispered to me. She said if you do what she told you not to do, she'd kill you." Jacob said slowly.

I'm tired of Cassie! If she wants a fight, she'll get one!

"Where is she?" I ask.

"She's coming tomorrow." Edward answers instead of Jake.

I turn to Edward.

"I read her mind. She's coming today at some time. I know where she's off to first. She's going to a river with some vampires she formed an alliance with. My family and the pack will fight them and Cassie."

I nod.

"We should go now and prepare." I suggest.

"Everyone's there. They are just waiting for us."

Edward puts me on his back and Jacob goes into wolf form. Together we run to the river.

*Time Skip to River*

I see the Cullens and the pack all together working on strategies. I get off Edward's back and stand next to Alice.

"Hey Al? How's it going?" I ask hugging her.

"Everything's fine here. We already worked on speed and strength. Right now strategy is the hardest since some of us have powers." She explains.

I see the pack arguing about what to do.

(Sam and Leah's conversation)

L: We should have our own strategies! Not all of us are alike!

S: If we do that! None of us will know what the other is doing! That could give us a disadvantage!

L: Oh really! Then what's your idea!?

S: we pick a certain person to battle

L: We don't even know who's coming yet beside the bloodsucker!

S: Anyway, if there are not enough vampires for all of us to fight with, we'll double up with one of the Cullens.

L: Ugh! No way! I don't trust any of them!

S: This is to save our friend!

L: Bella isn't my friend!

S: Well find it in your heart to, for once, not be a bitch and be nice.

L: I hate you!!!

*Back to Bella*

I walk away from Leah and Sam. I wish that they can get over each other and be friends!

Its not Sam's fault that he imprinted on Leah's cousin. And they used to be together too! Honestly, she can't be mad at him forever!

I walk back over to the Cullens and see Carlisle and Esme.

"Hi Esme, hi Carlisle." I say approaching them.

They look over at me and hug me.

"Are we ready?" I asked referring to the fight.

They exchanged glances.

"We don't know. Since we never met this vampires, we have no knowledge of powers or anything." Carlisle explains.

I nod.

"They're coming!!!" Alice yells in a frantic voice!

Wait no! No one has told me where to go! I was supposed to be at home safe in another place like the other times!

Edward runs over to me.

"They came early. Its too late for you to leave. I'll have Seth protect you. He's too young to be in a battle like this."

He calls Seth over, who's in his wolf form like every other werewolf.

Edward explains the situation and guides us to a corner not very far from the action.

"Be safe." Edward says to me.

"You too." I say before he runs back to his family.

They get into position. The Cullens were in a 2 lines in front of the wolves.

Edward, Carlisle, and Emmett were in the first line and Esme, Alice, Jasper, and Rosalie were in the second line.

The wolves were then in one line, spread about 5 feet away from each other.

Cassie and the others than approached. Like in movies, they walked slowly toward us, hair flowing behind them, and positioning perfectly.

They're arranged in a triangle, Cassie at the point. She winks at me and I shiver. Seth looks at me with worried eyes.

"I'm fine." I whisper petting his fur.

I continue watching.

"Huh. I didn't expect anyone to be here. Any explanation?" Cassie says.

Carlisle speaks up.

"We've come to stop you. We care about Bella, she is family. We love her."

I can't believe what Carlisle said. That's so nice and amazing. I love them too!

"Oh how sweet!" Cassie says sarcastically.

No one says anything to her comment. Edward looks on the edge of explosion. I hope he doesn't hurt himself.

"If you go now, we can live in peace." Carlisle says.

Cassie laughs.

"Not without touching her!" She starts running toward me but Emmett jumps on her and they go flying.

Everyone then starts fighting. I point out Jake and Jasper working on the same guy. Like Sam said, we should double up since there are only 10 of them.

The vampires are good, well trained. It starts to scare me. What if they hurt them!?

I hear a scream. I get up from the rock I was sitting on and start walking toward it.

Seth gets in front of me.

"Seth I'll be safe." I try to go around him but he stops me again.

"Seth!" I say. I go around him again. He doesn't stop me. Instead he starts trailing behind me.

I hear Edward.

"Bella!!!"

I start running toward him.

"No Bella!! Stay! Please!!!"

I nod and start jogging back. I fall on the ground. I look up and Cassie is on top of me. She's not alone.

Seth runs toward me.

"Max freeze!!!" Cassie yells.

Max, the other vampire she was with, stands in front of Seth.

Seth than stops moving. He's struggling though. Freeze! He made Seth freeze! He can't move!

Seth howls but the other wolves are preoccupied, this isn't good.

Cassie turns to me.

"Look. Its the little human I wonder what will happen if I do this." Cassie says.

She digs her long blood painted nails into my forehead. I scream in pain.

"Oh look. Blood." Cassie says.

I scream again but she covers my mouth.

"Let's make a deal. If you never see or talk to Edward again I leave everyone alone but if you do...."

She leads me too the river.

"This'll happen."

She grabs my head and smashes it into the water. I struggle but she keeps me in.

She then jerks my head up.

I try to get out if her grip and run but she steps on my ankles, making me crash back into the water.

I try to hold back my scream but I can't. Water fills into my mouth. As soon as I get pulled back up, I start coughing like crazy. It hurt to not breathe.

I look and see Edward trying to get to me but the others jumping on him.

"Tell me you'll stop seeing Edward!!" She screams in my face.

"No!" I say.

I get pushed back into the water. This time longer. My head starts to hurt.

What if she drowns me? What will Edward do? I'm suddenly get pulled back up.

Everything is blurry.

"Oh no. Just one more second and you would've passed out then died. Had enough?!" She asks.

"Cassie stop!" Edward screams. He starts running toward us.

"Max! Freeze all!" Cassie yelled.

Max did as told and every Cullen and wolf stopped in their place.

Cassie dragged me in front of Edward.

I looked up at him. If he were human, he'd be crying a storm. His eyes were a crystal black but when he saw me, it turned into a soft caramel color.

"Now you can watch her die!" Cassie said.

She dug her nail into my torso, across my rib cage. I cry in pain.

Edward screams.

"Do you have any last words Bella?!" She hisses.

I sit up a little.

"Edward I'm sorry. I wanted to help. Tell Seth, I should've listened and that I'm sorry. Lastly, tell Jacob that I love him. And you too." I say quietly.

"Bella its fine. I love you too."

All of a sudden, Jane from the Volturi walks out of the forest.

She's now next to Cassie.

"What's this?" She asks in her soft voice.

Cassie gets up off the ground and fixes her blonde hair, I guess to look presentable.

"Jane what are you doing here!" She asked in shock.

"I'm here because this fight will soon cause a lot of attention. I'm here to stop it." Jane says.

Cassie looks at me.

"No need, I was just finishing up."

By finishing up, she meant finishing my life.

"If you want to be one of us than I suggest that you listen. I can see that you are the cause of this fight. On a normal basis I would kill this person. Do you want to die?" Jane smiles.

She obviously didn't like Cassie. Looks like Jane and I have something in common.

"No miss. Jane."

Jane's smile disappears and she sighs.

"That's too bad. Now come with me and leave the Cullens alone!" Jane hisses.

"Max unfreeze." Cassie says in a rude way.

I guess she doesn't like Jane either. Probably because she didn't get her way.

Jane and Cassie soon leave and so do the rest other vampires. Edward and Jake run to me.

"Bella! Stay with me!" Edward yells.

He touches my face and I close my eyes.

"No Bella no. Don't close your eyes!" Jake yells.

I try to open my eyes but I can't.

"Why didn't she open her eyes!?" Edward yells.

Jacob touches my chest.

"She's bleeding out!" Jake says.

That all I hear. Everything around me starts fading. I then go to sleep.
