Bella's POV.

I sighed as I sat in the living room of the Salvatore Boarding house with the scooby gang, its better than thinking all of their names, and I could feel Damon staring intently at me. I groaned internally.

"Stop staring at me like that Damon," I said before getting up and walking towards the door.

I heard someone following me and sighed before I just continued to walk.

"I just want to help," Damon said from slightly behind me.

"Why may I ask?" I asked in a slightly annoyed tone.

He sighed before getting into step with me.

"Because he's my friend and I want to see him happy." He said and I looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "Also because I think that I think of you as the sister that I never had."

"Well, that was fast," I stated as we walked on the road heading towards town.

"So will you let me help you?" He asked almost desperately.

"In the modern world what Enzo and I feel is unnatural and frowned upon." I said with a sigh.

"Who cares what they think, you unnatural so you get to do unnatural things." He stated matter of factually in such a serious tone that I wanted to laugh.

"But you have to realize that this is the twenty first century and nothings ever easy." I said before vamping off into town leaving Damon.

Damon's POV.

I sighed before heading back towards the house, I grabbed Elena and vamped her to the falls.

"DAMON WHY DID YOU BRING ME OUT HERE?" Elena shouted- asked once she realized where we were. 

I sighed before looking her directly in the eyes, stopping what ever else she was going to rant about.

"What's wrong?" She asked worriedly, grabbing my face into her hands.

I sighed. "We need to help Enzo and Bella." I said softly as I closed my eyes for a second before opening then only to see curious brown eyes gazing back at me.

"What so you mean?" She asked softly.

"Have you noticed thr way that they are with each other?" I asked.

She just blinked at me a few times.

"You mean that they seem like they are a couple?" She asked and I nodded my head. "What about it?"

"Well, they love each other."

"Ok but why do you care?"

I will be honest with myself and say that, that hurt.

"One And I is my best friend and two I think that I might think of Bella as a sister. Which is weird for me. Three they would be miserable without each other and if they were dating different people."

Elena stared at me in shock.

"So what your saying is that you want to get your best friend and sister figure together. Who are actually siblings by the way." She stated and I nodded my head.

She stared at me for a few moments. I think that she was trying to figure out if i was actually serious about this and not doing this as a joke. That kind of hurt as well but I couldn't really blame her.

"Ok. I guess we are doing operation Incest."

I groaned at the name which made her laugh.

"Why don't we pick out a different name for what we are doing. Then figure out a plan."

Elena just nodded her head before looking at me and giggling. She saw my disgusted look.
