Fin struggled across the car park with her father, she heard the pub door open and then shut. She glanced over her shoulder.

The Gallos stepped into the dim light. One lit a cigarette. A puff of smoke bloomed around his face. He laughed at something his brother said.

A spasm of pain surged its way from within Fin's chest and caught in the back of her throat. She fought to take in air. The Snakes sign flickered and then settled into its usual dull glow. A flash of lightning flared in the distance.

Fin's heart thumped. She wanted to tell her father to hurry but knew it'd be a waste of time. She used every ounce of strength to make him move faster.

"Here. How about we give you a hand?"

"No!" Fin used her hip to hold her father steady against the car. She struggled to open the back door.

The Gallo brothers smirked at her. Jonno ground out his cigarette with the toe of his boot and crossed his arms over his chest. "Now you're being stubborn." He hung one hand in front of his jeans and grabbed his cock. "I like that. Stubborn can be a lot of fun."

"You leave us alone!" Fin rasped. "I don't need any help." She pushed her father onto the back seat, his head lolled and flopped sideways, his body slumped in that direction and his legs dangled outside the door. Fin bent and lifted one. She shoved it inside the vehicle. Her heart pounded as tears blurred her vision. She lifted her father's second leg inside the car.

Rees Gallo grabbed the top of her arm and forced her to stand. He slammed the car's door, pushed Fin against the vehicle and then rammed his pelvis against her. "Like I told you earlier. Me and Jonno want a replay with you," he said, then ran his hot slimy tongue up the side of her face.

Fin twisted her head and rubbed her wet cheek on the sleeve of her shirt. "No!" She pushed him away. He stumbled.

"Yes." Rees chuckled and shoved her in the chest. She slammed against the car. The force tore the breath from her lungs. "You're prettier now. No baby teeth left and you got bigger tits." He laughed again and jerked her forward. "Ain't that right, Jonno? She's got bigger tits now."

Fin covered her breasts with her arms and hung her head. The feeling of being crushed forced her to control tremors, which shook her whole body. A sharp pain tore up her neck and into her ear cavities as fear of what would happen set every nerve on fire.

"I wonder if her cunny is bigger? Hope not, because I liked it tight." Jonno stepped forward and shoved his hand between her legs. She screamed and bucked away. He backhanded her.

"Has your daddy been using you, girl? Has he been teaching you a thing or two since me and Rees turned you into a woman?" Jonno took hold of Fin's chin and forced her to look at him. "Is that why you stick with him? You like cock? Yeah... I bet you do."

Her mind reeled. Fin clutched her cheek and fought to stay focused. They were going to hurt her again.

Jonno Gallo dug his fingers into her chin. The pain in her jaw intensified. Fin gasped and snapped at him. She'd show them how her baby teeth had grown.

His cry was muffled because her ears continued to ring with fear. Fin knew she'd scored a hit when warm metallic liquid hit her taste buds. Her euphoria was short-lived as he hit her closed fist in the gut. She groaned, dropped to the ground and seized her stomach.

"Fuckin' bitch! Jesus! Look what the whore did. Fuck!" Jonno shook his hand and thrust his finger toward his brother. He bent, grabbed her hair and wrenched Fin's head up. "See what you just did! If you want to play rough, we'll play rough!"

Jonno shoved his bloody finger in his mouth, let go of her, and then stood. "Bring the bitch to the back of the Ute, Rees. I'm going first."

Rees hauled Fin to her feet. She bucked and kicked. "No! I didn't do anything! Let me go!" She couldn't see because her eyes streamed with tears. Her heart sang with desperation. The back of her nose burnt. She found it hard to breathe. "Please..." she implored. "I don't owe you."

"Ah, look at that. She's crying and begging. Don't worry, sweetheart. We're gonna take good care of you." Rees spun Fin so her back faced him. He wrapped his arms around her, pinned her hands to her sides and then lifted her off her feet. She attempted to scream. He clamped his large hand over her mouth. "You shut up now or I'm gonna knock you out."

She struggled and kicked but it made no impact. When he got to the back of the Ute Rees dropped her on the ground. Fin landed on her knees. Pain blazed through her body. She gasped for breath. The air filled her lungs. She screamed.

Jonno attempted to shove his engorged penis into her mouth. "You suck me, bitch. If you bite me, I'm gonna knock all your fucking teeth out!"

Fin whimpered and yanked her face to the side. He grabbed her head and forced himself forward. She slammed her mouth shut and twisted in his hold. Hair tore from her skull. She screamed again.

"Fucking slut!" Jonno slapped her across the face. "Get her on the tray!"

Rees grabbed her arms while Jonno took hold of her legs. They threw her hard onto the corrugated tray of the Ute. Searing agony ripped through her torso as the breath was forced from her lungs. She flailed around and attempted to sit.

Jonno slammed her back. He tore her shirt open and laughed. "You're right, Rees. Her tits are bigger."

Fin sucked in a lungful of air and flung herself forward. She caught Jonno on the side of his face with her nails.

More lightning and thunder sounded in the distance. Snake looked towards the glass panelling on the doors. "If that storm turns into something you might see yourself a real wet."

Cody chuckled. He finished his beer. If the Gallos were going to do something tonight he'd given them enough time. He held his hand out to Snake and said in a cheery voice, "Well, I'm off, Snake. Might not see you for three months if it's a real wet." He grinned as he shook Snake's hand and headed to the door.

Findlay's station wagon was still parked beside Cody's truck. He made his way toward it. Findlay was asleep in the back seat.

Muffled cries came to him from a Ute parked in the corner of the lot. Cody peered through the dark. He went to his truck, grabbed the length of two-by-four he always kept and strode across the blacktop.

He'd waited all night for this. It looked like he wasn't going to be disappointed. A loud slap pricked his ears.

"Bitch! Fuckin' bitch!" Jonno hissed. "Hold her down!"

Rees Gallo jumped into the back of the Ute and pinned Fin's arms to the tray with his knees. He shoved his hand over her mouth while Jonno undid her belt and yanked her pants down.

"First I'm gonna fuck you for pleasure," Jonno rasped. "Then I'm gonna fuck you up the arse because your father turned me into a cripple, and then I'll fuck your mouth just because I can." He forced her legs apart. "My brother's gonna do the same."

At the sound of his savage words, adrenaline surged through Fin. She pulled away and pumped her legs as hard as she could. Her heart pounded in her chest. She shook her head trying to free her mouth so she could scream but the plea remained in her head. Please...! Please help me! Please no! Tears burnt her eyes. Her throat hurt from the lump of fear caught in her throat. She fought harder, freed one leg and kicked out but it was snagged again.

"Shit, she's a fighter!"

Her legs were forced open once more. The muscle in her groin strained. A sharp pain shot down Fin's leg. A loud crack rang out. Jonno's hold loosened. He slumped forward on top of her.

"What the fuck!" Rees sprang to his feet and jumped to the ground.

Fin gasped for breath, confused. She sucked in as much air as she could and pulled herself out from under Jonno's body. He groaned and then slid to the ground. Fin scuttled against the side tray of the Ute, confused as to what had happened.

The stranger belted Rees Gallo with his fist. She scrambled from the back of the Ute and fought through sobs in search of her trousers.

Rees fell to his knees. Cody slammed his fist into the man's face. Blood splattered from his nose.

"No!" Rees gasped and held his hands in front of him. "No, more! Please!"

"You touch her again, I'm gonna break your fucking neck!" Cody clamped his hand around Rees' throat and jerked him higher. "You got that!"

"Yeah," Rees gasped. "I got it."

Cody punched him one last time and shoved his limp body to the ground. He wiped the back of his hand across his mouth. Blood seeped from a split in his bottom lip. He raised his eyes to see Fin pull on her pants. Her chest heaved with sorrow and distress. Cody lifted her belt from the ground and stepped toward her.

She moved backwards holding her pants with her hand. "No! Please don't!"

"I'm not going to hurt you." He stepped forward. Again, she moved backwards. Cody took her by the arm. "I'm not going to hurt you."

Fin grappled to get out of his hold. He ignored her, wrapped the belt around her waist, did up the buckle and tied her shirt ends together while she shuddered and stared at him through tear-filled eyes.

Seeing her like this and knowing the Gallo's had caused it angered Cody and without thinking he seized her wrist, grabbed his lump of timber and hauled her behind him.

"Please. Don't. Hurt me," she gasped and had to trot to keep up with him.

Her words made Cody angrier. "I told you. I'm not going to hurt you." He wanted to be nobler than a pack animal but his  warrior gene was on fire. He opened the door of the station wagon and pushed her inside. "Are you alright to drive?"

She nodded, sucked in a breath and blinked away tears.

"Good," he said. "I'm going to follow you."
