Author Note

I hope you have enjoyed Bell Ringer. I first uploaded Bell Ringer in 2019 but had written it in 2011. Over that period I have tried many times to find representation. I've probably been rejected thirty times with this book alone.

I was on the verge of giving up writing when I discovered Wattpad in 2017. I thought, what the hell, I'll put up a few stories so at least someone might read them. I can't tell you how inspired I am by this community. Rejections no longer upset me as they used to.

My very clever son asked me what goals I had for my writing. I said, 'It's not about making money but, I'd love to be traditionally published so readers can hold my book in their hands and enjoy it.'

He said, 'Mum being traditionally published would be great but, the reality is publishers are in the business of selling and choose books, which will make them money over a book they've fallen in love with if they don't see it as a viable entity.'

He went on to say, 'Readers choose books to enjoy but can't always afford to buy the book they want to read. Isn't having a reader, who has access to millions of free stories, decide to choose one of yours, and then have them tell you how much they loved it, an already amazing goal?'

And he's so right, to have someone choose to read one of my books out the millions on this site is such a gift. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for giving Bell Ringer and me a chance.  I've heard the traditional publishing route is almost dead so I think I'll try to self publish Bell Ringer this year.  Watch this space ;)

♥♥♥

I'd love to hear your opinions. If any thing didn't or did work please let me know as it just helps me to write better stories.

This might be a good time to send out a warning to anyone who has thoughts of stealing my work and to highlight the wonderful authors who have commented on every chapter of Bell Ringer. So here's a warning and a dedication all at the one time.

Bell Ringer is registered and copyright belongs to me but, it is also protected by the Light Warriors of Tweldor - The Jezebels of Bedlam, by @LEGlazebrook

If the walls of the citadel can't protect it you need to know two of the best detectives in the business, Chuck Farley, Sharing Afflictions @CFarley982 and Art Presley, Geezer and the Widow @DennisRoyer will hunt you down.

When they find you Ran Shaipur @tlryder and his crew from Dobruja will put you to work saving a planet. If you survive you'll be rewarded with weirdly wonderful dreadlocks and used for one of Emily's, Thistle Wish @MoodyMooseMouse window displays.

If you try to escape, Bash and Owen from The Hunter In Me, @JessEubanks will hunt you down with very, and I mean very, BIG knives.

Once they are done with you my good friend Cain, Tides of Sorrow @NightElflady will suck the lifeblood out of you and then feed what's left of you to Andrew Price's zombie girlfriend, Bite Me @Graph_

If those serious threats don't put you off stealing this or any of the awesome writer's works I've just listed then I'll have to set psychopath Jennifer (Max) Stamford, Deceit @Johnuri62 to carry out revenge on you, and believe me she's very good at what she does. If you're lucky she might let you live out the rest of your days in a dungeon imprisoned by the evil Brian in Twisted by @Tris_Pryer

So be warned. DO NOT STEAL THIS OR ANYONE ELSE'S WORK. Instead you should check out the absolutely amazing, awesome, can't put down reads, I have just listed. Put your feet up with a beer, coffee, tea, wine or any beverage you enjoy, and tell yourself satisfaction doesn't come from stealing but, rather appreciating the time and effort a writer puts into their work so you can enjoy it for free.

And yes. That cow is watching you.

To the wonderful writers I've become close friends with please see this as my way of thanking you for all the support you have given me. I can't tell you how much it means to me to have you in my Wattpad life. ♥♥❤
