A pale man with coal black hair set down his pencil when the ache from holding it began to hurt and annoy him. He set down his sketchbook to his side and lay himself on the picnic blanket. A small breeze blew through the tree's leaves, letting some light from above escape and illuminate his pale face which gave it a soft glow.

The park was busier than usual but he took no mind to that. His eyes didn't focus nor did his hearing. All he heard was a small murmur and the rustle of leaves. The sweet relaxation overtook him causing him to close his eyes and sigh.

Well, he wished."Hey there hottie~.", he heard a male voice coo from a distance. He opened an eye and saw from the corner of his eye, 2 men and a woman.

The man beside her was a coal haired man but his hair was a little longer than Sai's and his skin was tanner. He wore a plain red shirt and faded jeans. The man who tried to flirt with the woman was brown haired and a little paler. This man wore a a white plaid shirt with a black jacket over it and regular jeans.

The woman was quite beautiful but her face seemed 'distressed'. Her long blonde hair was pulled into a tight high ponytail. She wore a light violet buttoned shirt and faded shorts that had a sort of white rope like belt.

"I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend.", she said stepping closer to the black haired man. Their eyes were a little concealed since their backs were mostly facing Sai, but he could see the brunette clearly. Loud. He didn't really want to move spots. He preferred this spot, it was rather nice.

Well, right now it wasn't very nice.
"Oh darling please, I've heard of your reputation, but I can make you stay much longer.", he winked and took a step toward her, but the black haired man pushed him away.

"Get back you bastard, she's mine.", he growled. The brunette frowned and his brows furrowed."Please don't fight, your making such a big scene, I don't want you getting in trouble, Andre.", she said holding the black haired man's arm. Her voice sounded light and fragile, with the tone of a liar.

Sai's eyebrow twitched a little. He began to fold his blanket, adding the sketchbook and pencil as he folded. The pale man sighed as he continued to hear the increasing yell of the fight over the blonde.

He brushed off his black buttoned shirt and navy skinny jeans. Even in the small shade of the tree, his skin always gave off a transparent glow. He flattened his coal black tussled hair a little and began to head down the hill.

"C'mon Ino!", he heard someone snap very close by. Before he knew it, someone slammed into his side."Ow! Hey!", he looked down to see the blonde from a little earlier, rubbing her head. Their eyes connected for a brief moment.

But to them, it felt longer. The unfocused onyx of the pale man seemed to lighten when they met the bright sky blue. It gripped both their hearts that this was about to end. Her eyes closed as she was pulled away from his space."Don't get any ideas.", the man that was holding the blonde by the arm growled.

Sai's eyes lost focus."None occurred.", he said plainly and continued his way. But the blonde, presumed Ino, stood frozen. His image captured perfectly in her mind, like an unforgettable memory. She's met a lot of good looking men, but he seemed...interesting.

She knew every man in the town since it wasn't that large and his face was definitely new. But he seemed so sad. Even she could tell through his dark onyx eyes.

"Sorry babe, I've got to go to my part time job.", the man named Andre said lifting her chin to him. She snapped back to reality. She gave a close eyed smile."Yeah sure...", she said. Though looking natural, her voice was off. Andre looked at her with a strange look and nodded giving her a quick peck on the head and began to speed walk off.

Ino shook her head and sighed."A classic. A common one.",She mumbled to herself as she watched the man disappear. She began to head the opposite direction back to a route to her home.

The new encounter almost left her mind."Maybe I can test him.", she smiled to herself.

The park was still busy so he simply gave up and went his way. He headed across the street. He only walked a bit away until he saw the blonde once more.

He saw a smile etch on her face when she caught sight of him."Lucky~.", she sang quietly so the guy wouldn't hear. Sai couldn't tell where this was going but he didn't care and just turned away and headed his normal route home.

Ino began to frown and jogged up to him. He turned his head to her but continued walking. She smiled."You're the guy I bumped into, right?", she said holding her hands behind her back and leaning on him a bit.

"Yes.", he said and continued to walk forward.

She frowned again. That was a little new. Other people would say more than just 'yes'."Soooo are you new around town?", she pursued.

"Seems so."

"Do you want me to show you around? We can have a good time.", the blonde winked.

He didn't react very much at her tone and simply said,"No. I have a map.".

Her eyebrow quirked in annoyance and frustration. He's either dense, a jerk, or gay."Can I at least know your name?", she asked as her final question.

He abruptly stopped making her stumble forward in surprise. Sai turned to her, holding onto the strap of his bag of art supplies. Ino's eyes widened realizing how dull and lifeless his coal dark eyes seemed.

They closed and he put on a fake smile she could clearly see through."My name is something of that doesn't concern you so leave and stop annoying me.", he said sharply then continued walking.

The Yamanaka stood there in shock. What...the...hell?

She watched as he disappeared in the crowd and she clenched her fist."Someone's playing hard to get.", she smirked.
