He sighed in relief and looked over his shoulder. The heat of irritation lingered in his throat. What an annoying woman. Sai emerged from the crowd of people toward the residential area. There was a large white 2 story house ahead. It had a large enough driveway for one car and semi dry garden in the front.

He followed the small stone pathway past the shrubs of assorted bushes and flowers. Sai pulled out his house keys and unlocked the door to enter."Tadaima.", he called out but the echo only greeted him back for a bit."Okaerinasai.", his brother's head popped out with a small smile.

"Shin? I thought-", he was cut off when he raised his hand in front of the pale man as he was going to walk by."There wasn't anything there so I have the day off.", he said and sat down on the couch flipping through a book.

"Ok.", He simply responded and headed upstairs to his bedroom. It was a well sized room with pearl white walls and a few shelves with pictures of his 'brother' by the window. Sai was actually adopted by Shine but he preferred to be called his brother since calling him dad didn't sound right.

Small cacti and regular plants stood on the window sill mostly used for inspiration for a motif. His floor was carpeted black and bed a twin size. His nightstand was clean but his desk was an organized mess with pencils covered in paint around a lightly sketched paper and pastels all over the place. His lamp was still on.

Sai opened his bag as he sat on the bed to find his art supplies but was also greeted by an extra paper in there. Yet it was just the size of a fortune slip. The black haired man unfolded the little paper and saw it was a phone number.

Under that phone number was a small note:
I'm not giving up ;)

He stared at it blankly then crushed it and just threw it behind him, taking out the sketch pad. Kicking off his shoes, the pale man began sketching away.

Ino pressed her hand on her chest and bent a little."Pig?", her pink haired friend said. The light blonde lady looked at her and tilted her head."Yeah? I just felt like someone crushed my pride a little.", she said straightening herself.

"I thought you'd get that 24/7 for being a player that almost the whole town knows about",she said rolling her light emerald eyes. Ino scoffed and crossed her arms."Well sooory, my life isn't as adventurous as the next heir for your family's and mentor's business.", she said.

"Hey, I'd switch for your spot anytime! Your life seems WAAAY simpler, even though I do love being a doctor.", she huffed. Ino took a sip from her lemon ice tea and sighed."I guess. Sorry Sakura."

The pinkette gave her a small smile,"No worries but I still don't understand your reasons for being such a man jumper. It's also almost brutal to go after one who just moved into town."

"Fresh meat", she winked and turned to her side staring out the cafe window as people strolled by,"I dunno it's kinda interesting to see new types of men. Who will defend you, some bastards, weirdos, perverted guys too."

"Oh? All that hopping could end suddenly. What if you actually fall in love?", Sakura smirked. The light blonde laughed."Yeah like that would ever happen, I wouldn't believe it.", she said.

"Haha, right of course.", the Haruno responded. A phone ring startled them both and Sakura quickly dived for her purse and answered the call from her light pink covered phone."Speaking.", she said swiftly. Ino watched as her friend's expressions changed from annoyed to stern then neutral.

Sakura sighed and stood up after she finished."Sorry girl, duty calls.", the Haruno said pulling up her purse and walking toward the exit with her friend, drink in hand."Ah don't worry. I'm always free!", the blonde lady said with a small smirk. Sakura furrowed her eyebrows and sighed.

"Don't get into too much trouble. ", she said heading toward a car parked outside the cafe. Ino put a hand on her hip and leaned on her right leg."I either get into too much trouble or none at all, there is no in between.", she said.

"Ino!", Sakura exclaimed. The Yamanaka laughed and stood upright again."I'm messing with you just go do your thing or whatever.", Ino pushed her into the car and closed it. The pinkette rolled down the window as the car began to move."If I find you being chased by an angry guy again I'm not saving you!", she yelled out the window and rolled it up as the car distanced from her blonde friend.

Ino laughed nervously and walked down the sidewalk until she found herself strolling through a neighborhood. It seemed to be a rather quiet one since barely any cars drove down the road."Ok Sai! I'm heading out now!", she heard a man call up ahead. There wasn't any response but he still came out shrugging.

She barely caught his appearance since they snapped to a familiar black haired man. She smiled victoriously. So that's his name! He had returned back inside so Ino slowly walked toward the house until the car was out of view.

She jogged toward the front door and knocked rapidly. Her hands held behind her back. It took about 2 minutes until someone answered the door and it was who she hoped for. Sai looked at her blankly.

"Can I help you?", he responded plainly staring at her face, utterly ignoring Ino's attempts at showing off her figure. Her eyebrow twitched so she flipped her back trying to forget her frustration."Um, you don't remember me? From the park?", she tried to remind him.

He didn't react much,"Who are you again?". That's when she lost really lost her cool. She was just so utterly shocked that someone who has just seen her about 15 minutes ago had forgotten her that it just sent her off balance.

"Hey, dont-"

And it all went black. Just like that.

Shitty filler chapter I really wanted to get this one in there. Sorry ;-; I'll try making the next chapter a bit more SaiIno cause even I'll say it, this needed more. So I'll add all that fluff and shit. :)
