The first meeting

He should not be late. It was his first day as a new intern of a prestigious company. Singto had been waiting for this moment all his life. He could not afford to be late. He had slept little and got up early in the morning. He had chosen his best outfit and had skipped breakfast so he could arrive early in front of the building. He looked up and looked at the building that would welcome him for the next three months. He clenched his fist and gave himself courage. He had made a promise to his father. He had promised that he would offer the best service so that he could be recruited. He was going to be one of the best recruits of this company. He did not doubt it. All his life, he got good grades through his efforts, it would be the same for this work. He readjusted his tie and made his way to the entrance of the building. He felt something hit him. Singto lost his balance and found himself on the ground first. What had happened? "การ ให้อภัย ..... sorry," said a voice. Singto saw only a blue shirt and brown hair. He did not have time to react that the man picked up his belongings fallen to the ground, and ran towards the door. He had not offered him help to get up. He did not do anything. NOTHING. Just a simple word to apologize. This man was really bad, said Singto as he stood up. He removed the dust on his pants, then entered the building too.

He wasn't wrong. It was him. He recognized the voice of the man who had just jostled him. The latter was asking for directions at the reception. He seemed in panic. Singto unknowingly heard the word "marketing department". This man was going to the same place as him. Why ? He did not want to know it. He continued his way without paying attention to him. He was well prepared. He had taken the time to visit the company well before his hiring date. He knew where to go and how to get there. He walked faster, he should not be late. But to his astonishment, the same man ran past him. The man ran to the stairs before pausing. He seemed lost. Singto saw him heading for an information board, but that did not seem to help him because he turned to a stranger to ask him his way. Singto passed them and tried to think of something else. It was his first day and he felt stressed. He waited in front of the elevator with other people. The door opened, he entered, but the stranger had not entered. Singto was sure of it. This man was going to get lost again. Basically, it did not concern him, but he felt bad to give up to this man knowing he could help him. He slipped into the elevator and put his hand to prevent the doors from closing. "Hey, I'm going to the same place. Follow me, "he shouted at the man. The latter still seemed lost, but when he heard Singto's voice, he turned to him with a big smile. It seemed to Singto then that the world around him had just stopped. He had never seen a smile so straightforward and captivating. He swallowed and took a step back. The man ran to him and entered the elevator. "Thank you," said the man. Singto nodded without answering.

"Mr Singto prachaya and Mr Krist perawat?» A woman asked as the lift doors opened on the third floor. Singto nodded. He noticed that the man next to him had also nodded. The woman motioned them to follow her. Singto walked behind her and found himself in a meeting room. There were six people: four men and two women. The presentation was made and Singto realized that he had before him the head of the marketing department as well as some of the employees of this department. He also learned something else: he was not the only new recruit. He had a rival. An enemy who was none other than the man he had just saved. He turned to the man and the man gave him a big smile. Singto looked away. He was not able to compete with that smile.

They had spent the morning visiting the other departments to introduce themselves. It was lunch time and Singto was tired. He went to the beverage vendor. Once his order was over, he thought back to his morning. He still made a good impression and he did not feel weak in front of his new rival, so to conclude he had a good first day. The saleswoman placed his order on the counter, but before he could take it, he saw a hand seize the drink and a man to drink it. "Sorry I was so thirsty. I'll pay you back, "said his rival, before asking for two identical drinks. Singto did not know how to react. This man had a lot of guts to dare steal his drink. He turned to reprimand him and realized that the man in his rush to drink, had spilled some on his shirt and the tips of his lips were still wet. He looked like a child in front of a confectionery. The man was looking at him and smiled at him without noticing his burr. He held out his hand. "My name is Krist. And you are Singto isn't it?» Krist said. Singto did not know how to react. Of course he was called Singto. They had spent all morning together and had told their names in front of several people so it was obvious that it was his name. Yet the man continued to reach out and smile at him. He seemed to wait for an answer. Singto, he felt uncomfortable at the appearance of this man. He took a tissue from the counter and without even taking the time to think about it, he wiped the traces of the drink on Krist's lips and on his shirt. He threw away the used tissue and picked up one of the drinks handed by the salesgirl. "Hey, wait for me," Krist shouted behind him. Singto rolled his eyes.

Krist sat in front of him without asking his opinion. He put a bag on the table and took out his food. Singto noticed that the dish was well presented and seemed appetizing. He took out his cell phone and started playing. "Where is your meal? You did not bring any?» Krist asked. "I do not have any," Singto answered without lifting his head. " You do not eat ? » Krist asked. Singto shook his head. Krist looked surprised. "Why do you not eat? Do you want me to go buy you a dish?» Krist said, starting to get up. Singto motioned him to sit down. " I'm not hungry. I'll eat at home, "Singto said. "But ..." tried to contradict Krist. "I never bring meals. I'd rather eat at home because .... "Singto started, but a piece of meat in his mouth made him stop talking. He looked at Krist in astonishment. The latter, without embarrassment, had just introduced a piece of meat into his mouth with the same shopsticks he had used to eat. Once again, Singto did not know how to react. Krist waved him to eat. Singto had no choice but to chew the meat. The more he bit into it, the more he felt that this cooking was perfectly to his liking. Krist watched him eat and seemed to wait for the verdict. " So ? Is it good ?» Krist asked. Singto could not lie. It was good. So he nodded. The smile that Krist gave him as a reward made him lose his breath for a second. What was happening to him? "I prepared it myself. I'm glad you like it. If you do not mind, I could bring you lunch every day. We'll see each other every day because of the work, and as I bring myself a lunch at noon, I do not mind preparing more for you to have,» says Krist. Singto would have liked to refuse the offer. He did not know this person. And besides, he was a rival, but his belly had just accepted the food of this stranger. Plus, Krist said it did not bother him, so he could not refuse. He looked at the dish in front of him. This food pleased him. "I take your silence for a yes," Krist says before handing another piece into his new colleague's mouth. "I'm so happy to not be the only recruit. You seem like a good person and I hope we can be good friends, "said Krist, smiling. Singto felt bad. He had never thought that man could be a friend.

Hello, so here's the new chapter. Krist is a colorful character and open to making new friends, while Singto focuses more on his goal of becoming a good employee.
