Being with You - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
ZARA POV
Tomorrow will be my first day in the new school. I was so nervous about it that I just couldn't sleep that night. Twisted and turned and finally I got up. It's only 2am in the morning. I took out my clothes trying them on. First, a round collar T-shirt with a big crystal Love in front. Wear it with my three quarter jeans, and then look at the mirror. No. It doesn't look like going to school. Look more like going shopping. Urgh!! I wished they had uniforms so that I don't have to think what to wear next morning. Put them away and try another. After 10 tries I finally decided to wear a red with black strip ladies polo shirt with my new jeans I bought yesterday. Looking at the time it's only 4.00 am. Well, I might as well get some sleep than doing nothing.
Finally I manage to get some sleep and woke up at 7.00 am and went straight to the bathroom. Wearing the cloth that I choose earlier, I apply put on some powder and a lips gloss, tying my shoulder length hair into a pony tail and the look at myself on the mirror. Hmm, ok, I look presentable. Satisfied I put on my red socks and wear it with my black Nike sneakers. Taking my backpack from the chair I walked downstairs to the kitchen. Jenny was already there eating breakfast. Wow, she's wearing a mini skirt Jeans, matching it with jeans jacket and high heels. She turn towards me and I realized she's wearing a low cut t-shirt inside. My goodness! Is she going to school or what? I asked myself.
"Hey. I see that you are ready," she said to me while sipping her juice.
"Yeah, can't really sleep last night. Tell you the truth I'm nervous right now," I told her pouting my lips.
"You'll be fine, honey" my Aunt said patting my shoulders. "Sit down has some breakfast before you go".
"Yeah Zara. You'll be fine. The girls and I will be there for you. Don't worry". Jenny assured me.
"I know," I sighed. "What if the rest of the school doesn't like me?" I whined.
"No, everyone will love you. You're an easy person to get along with. You don't even have to worry about trying to please anybody, ok," she continued to coax me.
"I hope so," I heaved heavily.
When we arrived at school I had a culture shocked. Are we in school or what? I asked myself. There so many students and they're wearing all kind of clothing; dress, shorts, skirts and jeans. You name it. I don't fell like I'm in school. It felt like I'm in a shopping complex or something. Don't get me wrong, I'm use to go to school with everyone wearing the same uniform and this is new for me.
"Come, let go to the office to get your schedule and locker's key", says Jenny nodding her head towards the entrance.
After getting the schedule, both Jenny and I check whether we have any class together.
"Yay! You have first class with me. Come let's find your locker. I don't think it somewhere near mine." I followed Jenny's lead. She knows the school better than me.
"There they are. Wow. Yours is near to Zack's"
Zack??? Oh no, hopefully not the same Zack, I thought to myself.
"Who's Zack?" I asked Jenny.
"Zack Harrison? He's our senior and our football team's Captain. Girls are all over him, trying to get his attention. He's a player, he normally get to know the girls and then dumped her when he gets what he wanted. His latest girlfriend lasted only 3 days. I don't understand why, but most of the girls here dying to be his girlfriend. It must be because of his looks and reputation. I guess", shrugged Jenny.
Football Captain. Sound familiar, right. I read them in Novels that they're always popular among girls. Great! Now I get to know one whose locker is near to mine. Luckily mine is 5 lockers away. Hopefully I don't have to bump into him whenever I come near my locker.
Putting the rest of the books and taking the books for my next 3 subjects before break and I follow Jenny to our classes.

ZACK POV
"Zack, wake up," screamed my mom and pounding at my door. "You're late, Brad is already here."
"Shit," I cursed and looked at the watch. Damn I must have overslept. This was that mystery girl fault making me unable to sleep last night. "Tell Brad I'll be down in a minute." I yelled at my mom and dashed to the bathroom.
Brad packed his car at our usual place. I always go to school with Brad and we normally take turn on who would drive to school. Luckily today his turned to picked me up. If not, we will be really late on our first day back to school.
As usual when we both walked in, girls would smile sweetly and some drooled at us and I hate it. Because of them, I was marked a player but the actual fact was I don't really date anyone of them. Well, I actually dated a few of them in my junior years but then I grew tired of them. They were all the same, they just like to giggles and the worst thing that irritated me the most was that they would laugh at my jokes before I even started. Girls they are crazy sometimes.
I wore a boring face most of the day. I still can't keep my mind off that mystery girl. Who is she? I wondered. Which school did she go to? If I know, maybe I could talk to my parents and go to the same school as hers. Hmm, I if only I knew.
"Hey, Zack," yelled Amy when she saw me walking to my next class.
"Hey," I greeted her and kissed her cheek. She smiled. She's the only girl I could really get along with.
"Are you free during break?" she asked.
"Why?" I looked at her curiously.
"Well, I thought I want to introduce you to Jenny's cousin," she explained cheerfully. "Her locker is somewhere near yours."
I sighed and shook my head, "Sorry, I'm not free," I lied.
"Aww, come on Zack," she whined. "She's new and she needed friends. I'm not asking you to make her your girlfriend or what but just be her friend, that's all."
"Amy, I would love to get to know her," I lied again, "but I'm sorry, I'm really busy."
"Doing what?" she asked folding her arm in front her chest telling me that she's don't believe me.
"Well, coach wants to talk to me during lunch. So I need to see him." Boy, am I good at lying or what? I'm proud of myself when I saw that she looked like she believed me.
"All right, but I still want to introduce her to you today. Maybe after school, ok?" she smiled.
"Ok," I sighed and walked away. God, doesn't she ever give up?

ZARA POV
Time flies quite fast and I'm feeling very happy. Jenny was right. Everyone was friendly and helpful; showing me around and the way to the next class, restroom etc. Only my during my first class which was, English I'm with Jenny and Amy, and later my second class, Math was with Lisa and Sue. My third class I'm alone. However I managed to make new friends like Susan, Julie and guys like Mark, Andrew and many more which I can't remember their names. Maybe they wanted to get to know me because I not from States. They wanted to know about the Malaysia and stuff. I'm more than gladly to tell them.
I have promised to meet the girls at the cafeteria. Again, there's so many student there, some were lining up to get the food. I immediately spotted Jenny and others and went quickly to their table.
"Hey guys," I said cheerfully.
"Hey, how is it going so far?" asked Lisa.
"Great. I was so nervous this morning but now I feel great. I fell like I'm back in my old school. Everybody is just great" I smiled cheerfully.
After eating the sandwich I brought from the cafeteria and throwing the rubbish I said to the girls "I think I better get my things from the locker for the next subjects before the bell ring. I don't want to be late for the next class".
"Ok. You want me to follow you and show where your class is? What's your class after this?" asked Jenny.
"I can't remember but it's ok. You don't have to follow me. You locker is to far away from mine. I'll ask my way around" I told her.
"Ok. Bye. I see you after school then", waved Jenny goodbyes.
"Right," I nodded and waved back at the girls.

ZACK POV
I spend my break in the changing room just to avoid Amy. If she knew I'm lying she's going to keep on babbling at me. I looked at my watch and relieved that the break nearly over. I went over to my locker and found someone at her locker nearby mine. I couldn't see her face caused she puts her head inside maybe trying to get something from inside her locker. She wore ladies polo shirt with tight skinny jeans and track shoes. Her brown hair neatly tied behind her back. Well, she must be Jenny's cousin. Hmm, I realized Jenny cousin has brown hair not blond hair like her and nice butt too. Ignoring her I unlocked my locker and took out some books for the next session.
I heard her locker door closed. A few second later, I heard she asked me from behind my locker door, "Excuse me. Can you help me?"
I rolled my eyes. "Sure" I said and closed mine. God, it's her and she looked so stunning. Grinning widely, I said happily, "Well, well, well. I know we will meet again Cinderella."
"Cinderella?" she looked at me weirdly
"Yeah, I decided to name you that since you don't want to tell me your name" I smirked.
"Whatever" she said uninterested and started to walked away,
"Hey, I thought you said you need help. Let me help you". I managed to grabbed her wrist. Oh no, I not going to let you go so easily, I said to myself.
"No thanks. I don't want any help from you. I've changed my mind. I'll try to find my way," she said again trying to pull her hand from me.
"Hey come on. I'm a very nice guy. Everyone here including teachers loves me." I told her but not letting go of her hand.
"Yeah right, Zack Harrison, the most popular and favorite guy in this school. I should be thrilled to meet you but I'm not and I don't want any of you help. Thank you very much," she smirked while still pulling her hand from me.
"Wow, I'm honored you know about me. Wow" I said putting my other hand on my chest while the other still holding her.
"Will you please let go? I don't want to be late for class". She tried to pull her hand harder.
I smiled and when I realized she's holding her schedule, I quickly grabbed it from her and looked at it.
"Hmm, your next subject is Geography in Room 303. Just right next to my class, we're going to the same direction. Let me walk you, there," I said holding her hand and start to make our way down the hall.
"Let go of my hand. I can walk myself." she wiggled her hand in attempt to release my grip. Instead, I gripped harder.
"No way, I don't want you to run away again without telling me your name". I said pulling her with me.
She gritted her teeth, "Like I said before, I never tell my name to strangers."
I gave her an evil smiled "Ha. Ha. If that case I will definitely not letting your hand go."
"I thought you said you can find out yourselves. Maybe you are not as good as you said you are. You still don't know my name and I'm not telling you," she said angrily.
I smiled again "No problem then. I just don't let go of your hand. I don't mind sitting in the same class with you"
"Please. Please don't do this to me", she begged and worriedly looked at me.
God, I couldn't stand looking at her like that so I've soften, "Ok. Let's make a deal."
"What?" gritting her teeth.
"If I managed to find out your name by the end of today, you'll go out with me tonight". I said raising my eyebrows at her.
"No." she replied sternly.
"Ok. Then I will seat with you in your class." I shrugged.
She sighed loudly. "Ok, fine," said in angry tone, "but you must tell me my name by end of this period not end of the day. I want my full name not short name. If you don't, you must promise to leave me alone".
"Ok. No problem. It's a deal. Let's shake on it," I smiled letting go of her hand but blocking her from getting away.
"Right," she shook my hand.
"Bye Cinderella," I smiled naughtily at her, "I'll see you by end of the period. Be prepared to go out with me tonight," I said giving her a flying kiss and walked into my classroom next to hers.
