Chapter 17

ZARA POV

I decided to put aside my worries so that I can enjoy my time with Zack. I want to endear all the time I have with him. I didn't dare to ask him where he intended to continue his studies. I'm afraid I might think about it again. I know sooner or later I would have to face the reality and when the time comes I would start thinking about it again.

I know the time is getting closer after the seniors graduate and the school is over. Zack was the Top student for his class again and he would be leaving for college soon. I would have to deal with my feelings soon.

I was chatting with my old friends on MySpace when I heard the door bell rang. I didn't expect anyone caused I just come back from a date with Zack so I didn't bother to look at my window to see whose coming. Suddenly, there’s a knock at my door. I quickly went to open it.

“Zack?” I said in surprised. “What are you doing here?” I asked.

Zack smiled at me walked into my room. I closed the door and walked to him “Zack, what's wrong?” I asked again.  Suddenly, he just pulled me into a long kiss.

Still out of breath I said “Don't tell me you came here just to kiss me like that.”

He hugged me tighter and said excitedly “I've got great news to tell you. I'm so happy and I want to tell you tonight. I want to share it with you tonight. I can't wait till tomorrow.”

“What?” I asked again pulling him apart to look at him “Stop the suspense and tell me already.” I urged him.

He laughed. “You're looking at a new Harvard student,” he told me proudly with an arms open wide.

My jaw dropped open I think even a fly could go in. “You're going to Harvard?”

“Yes,” ginning proudly at me with his arms still open wide.

I runs into his open arms and hugged him tightly “Oh my god, I'm so proud of you!!”

Swing me around he excitedly said “I know you do.”

“I'm so happy for you, Zack. I really do,” I whisper in his ears but I can't stop the tears forming in my eyes.

He released me to look at me “You're crying, Why?” he asked.

“It's a happy tear,” I ensured him wiping my tears away. He smiles and pulled me for another long kiss.

“I'm so happy Zara,” he murmurs to my lips. “It's always been my dream.”

“Well, your dreams has comes true,” I told him kissing him softly. “When are you going?” I can't help myself from asking.

“In two weeks time,” he told me softly. “God, I'm leaving in two weeks time,” he just realized. He hugged me tightly again “Baby, I'm going in two week time. I'm going to miss you.” he said sadly.

“Hey, you are not going to miss me. You are going to the best university in the world,” I assured him. “Zack, you are going to have an excellent time there that you won’t even have time to miss me. You are going to fulfill your dreams there. Remember that.”

“Yeah, I know,” he said softly looking at me. “But I’m still going to miss you. I’m feeling it already.”

“I won’t lie to you saying that I won’t miss you but let’s just forget about it for awhile and make our last two week together a beautiful one.” I smile at him.

He smile back at me and pull me back into his arms “I love you, Zara. I know you will always be there to support me.”

 “I love you too Zack,” I kissed him. “I love you too,” and a stubborn tears are forming in my eyes.

After Zack left, I can’t stop thinking about it. What will happen next? I asked myself. I straight away Googled on Harvard to find out how far is it from here. Wow, it is one and a half day drive. It is far. Oh boy, are we going to have a long distance relationship? I signed. Will I follow Jenny advice to let what ever will be, will be?
