CHAPTER 23

ZACK POV

She stared at the mirror shockingly after my confession. I saw a glint of relieved and happiness in her face but she quickly covered it with her hands. I turned her around facing me and removed her hand away. Putting both my hands on both her cheek, I lifted her face slowly to look at me but she still closed her eyes maybe feeling embarrass to face me. I saw a small tears running down her eyes.

“Zara, open your eyes and look at me,” I demanded softly whipping her tears with my thumbs.

She bit her bottom lips and slowly opened her eyes, smiling shyly at me “I am so stupid.”

I teased, “Yes, you are. But I still love you.”

She looked deeply into my eyes and whispered, “I love you, I never stop..”

Hearing those words I abruptly captured her lips stopping her from saying more. My kiss was hard and unforgiving as I vented the feelings I’ve been holding in check since I’ve first seen her this evening.

My mouth moved away from hers suddenly as I trailed kisses down her throat and across her shoulder. “I’ve wanted to do this all evening,” I murmured.

I sought her mouth again and traced the trembling line between her lips with my tongue, urging it to part and when it did, I drove fully into hers. “Zara, I want you. I badly needed you. I want to make you mine,” I whispered.

“I want you too,” she told me at the same time trying to unbutton my shirt with her trembling hands.

I looked at her eyes which bore the same desire as mine, ‘Are you sure? You better stop me before it too late.”

“I’ve never been so sure of anything but this. I want you to be my one and only, and I want you to make me yours tonight,” she told me.

I captured her mouth again and swept her up, carried her to the bedroom and laid her gently on the bed.

I held her hands over her head as my lips began to explore lightly, first her face, then her throat. She closed her eyes and sigh a shaky sigh as I kissed and licked and even occasionally nibbled at her body. I slowly undress her.

I stepped back to look at her. “You're beautiful”, I sighed in full appreciation of the vision before me. Her face flushed and eyes bright with passion, her breast full and soft with those luscious pink peaks hard and glistening inviting me to draw them into my mouth.

“Don’t move.” I ordered huskily as with my eyes fixed on her quickly began to undress.

“Oh my!” she whispered softly her eyes wide with anticipation as I pulled off my trousers and underwear.

I grinned, flattered by her appreciation of my now naked body. “This, my darling is what you do to me.” I told her as I joined her on the bed. “You not backing out, are you?”

“No, I want to be yours tonight,” she whispered again with desire in her voice.

Our lips met once more and I slid my hands beneath her buttocks lifted her up to me. Zara tensed for a split-second and flinched at the swift stab of pain.

“Did I hurt you?” I rasped looking worriedly at her.

“Please don’t stop,” she pleaded and I could see all her love and longing in her eyes. “I love you, Zack,” she whispered.

I muffled a groan and buried my head in her throat and began to move slowly and firmly. “I love you, Zara,” I screamed before my body collapse on top of her.

We clung tightly to each other, resting for the moment.  We kissed again; languidly allowing our bodies to calm after the torrid storm of passion we'd just subjected them to.

Scared that I might crush her if we continued in same position, I move to her side bringing her with me. I kissed her temple feeling happy and content.

She rested her head on my chest while her hand touched the bracelet on my right hand. “I thought you have taken it off,” she said softly.

“How could I? This bracelet represents you. I felt that you are with me all the time when I’m wearing it,” I told her.

“I feel the same when I wear yours,” she said kissing my chest. “I was so heart broken when I saw you with other girls in your Facebook,”

“Hmm, so you did sneak into my Facebook,” I teased. “But you don’t have to worry about them they don’t mean a thing to me. I love you and only you,” I told her again.

She looked up and gave me a long kiss “I love you too. I am really stupid for break off with you,” hugging me tightly.

“Yeah, I’ve told you, you are dumb,” I chuckled and got a soft smack from her.

She looked at me seriously, “Zack, why did you stop contacting me when I was in Yale?” she asked softly.

I gave her the same serious look, “Caused I’m scared you might tell me you found some guys and starts telling me how wonderful that guy is when you were there. I was advice to stay away from you for awhile.”

“Who asked you to do that?” she asked.

“My grandfather, I’ve told him about you and he told me that the only way to make you realise you are missing something is by leaving you alone and ignore you,” I chuckled. “I think it works, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, I think it did, caused I miss you like crazy and buried myself with all the charity work organised by the College so that I can forget about you and forget about getting to know someone ne,” she said. “But Zack, what would you do if you plan didn’t work?” she asked laughing at me.

“I’m going to seduce you until you won’t be able to resist me at all,” I laughed. “Oh there one thing more I need to do,” releasing her from my arms and move slightly to open the drawer from the side table. I took out the ring I bought for her that day.

I turned and looked at her who was sitting beside me, “Zara, I actually didn’t intend to do it here. I was planning to do it somewhere more romantic, but I don’t think I want to wait any longer.”

I showed her the small jewellery box and opened it up. “Zara, being with you is the best things that happen in my life and I’m not lying when I say my life have been boring and lonely for the last five years. I love you so much and I don’t think I can live any longer without you.”

I took out the ring and looked directly into her eyes. I slipped the ring into her finger and said “Marry me Zara and make me the happiest man in the world.”

She looked at the ring and then at me with misty eyes, “Zack, are you going to call me dumb again if I said no?” she teased.

I laughed, “Oh yes, you can bet on that and I will have to seduce you till you say yes.”

She laughed and smile seductively at me, “Well maybe you should seduce me.”

“Hmm, you are still the naughty girl I love,” and captured her lips until we both breathless.

“I love you, Zack” she murmured, “I want to spend the rest of my life being with you,” and I sought her lips once again.
