Thanks for sticking with the story I know I haven't posted in a while but I'm happy to be back! Just to refresh, they are heading out to rob places to win for the villain party. I won't hold you guys back any longer...

"Go!" shouted the man and everyone rushed out of the building. By now, I'm guessing no one cared how suspicious we looked. I followed Aidan out to his car where he grabbed a bag and then we were on off running. Adrenaline hit me hard. My heart was racing which was making it hard to breathe while we were only running. The mall was about two miles from here and Aidan had told me that running was the best way to get there secretly. We don't want to be followed or tracked by license plate he explained. How we were gonna get what we took back to the library was beyond me.

Even though the evening air was chilly, I was still sweating from the run. Dang, I needed to get in shape. Soccer season had just ended about two weeks ago and I could tell I was losing every bit of fitness I had obtained. It was time to hit the gym.

We made it to the mall seventeen minutes later. Aidan pulled out a computer from his bag and started typing fast. Within three minutes he had the cameras hijacked and could turn them to not face us.

"It's better than turning them off. Security guys will definitely notice if the camera goes off." Aidan said as we crept along the side of the building. We found a spot he seemed to like a pushed a brick in. The bricks around it moved to form a very small tunnel. I am not normally claustrophobic, but the tunnel was exceedingly small.

Aidan looked at me but I shook my head. "I have no idea if this is a trap and I  have no clue where this tunnel leads. You are going first."

"Glad to see you trust me."He said. Even in the dark, I could see him rolling his eyes. "Once you enter the tunnel, turn and press the button that is right outside the door and then follow right behind me." Without another word, Aidan crawled into the tunnel. I gave him a second before I followed. Once, my whole body was in, I reached my hand back and found the button. With a quick press, the bricks closed up silently. We hadn't gone far at all when Aidan stopped. I could tell he was searching for something.

"Where will we be getting out at?" I asked curiously.

"The cleaning closet by Panda Express."

I smiled. Becoming a villain was showing me a whole new side to life. I was finding out that things I never thought could be true. I mean I never would have imagined villains having a party in a library. And a villain librarian, like who would have thought?

Up ahead, I heard Aidan push something and then something moved. "I have the door opened up here. Keep coming. It's a tight fit in here with all the cleaning supplies, but I think we can fit. The closet was only made as a way into the mall so it wasn't made for space."

I nodded in agreement, but I'm sure Aidan wouldn't even have seen it because it was too dark. I couldn't even see my hand when I put in front of my face. "Here," Aidan said and I felt something touch my arm. He turned on his phone flashlight so we could see. He had handed me a pair of glasses.

"You know I wear contacts, right?" I asked.

"Yes, but these aren't prescription. Just put them on." I took them from Aidan and put them on. I realized he had turned out his flashlight but I could still see.

"They are night vision goggles!"

"Yes, yes they are." He said laughing. I blushed. Could he even tell if I was? I wasn't given time to wonder because Aidan was already halfway out the door. I followed quietly behind him. "Let's start with a jewelry place and move on from there." He whispered. I nodded and continued to follow. He had his computer out and was changing the direction of the cameras to be off us.

Adrenaline was coursing through my body. I felt like I nervous like I had to pee, but at the same time, I felt like I could accomplish anything. We arrived in front of the store a few minutes later. The bars were covering the place as usual for after hours. Aidan clicked away on his computer and then went for the bars. Whatever he had done had worked. Well, it had mostly worked. The bars were up, but a siren was going off.

"Take this," He said handing me what looked like an iPad, "I have a tracker on me and you can see where I move and where I'm going on the iPad."

"Ok, what am I supposed to do?"

"I'll cause distractions at tons of stores, and you rob them in a random order away from where I am at. They only have about five guys that work here on security at night so it's not like we will have to fight off an army. Oh, and take this extra bag for the stuff you take. Clothing does count so don't just go for tons of money.

I gulped. This was my real first villain work and now I would be flying solo. "Alright, what time do we meet up?"

"10:50. No later than 11:00. Kelsy, you got this alright. Don't worry!" With that he was off. I rushed inside the store. I grabbed two nice looking necklaces and rushed out. I started following Aidan's trail of destruction. He was moving quickly and opening the bars in front of all the stores.

I followed as fast as I could. Taking clothing I thought looked nice, a few books I had been wanting to read, and lot's of jewelry. I even grabbed a stupid build-a-bear because why not? I had had one when I was little. I looked down at my watch. It read 10:45. I had five minutes to make it halfway across the mall. To make thing easier to carry, I had grabbed bags from each store so I looked like I had literally shopped till I dropped. I broke into a sprint only stopping briefly to hide behind pillars and check for people. I was only a few stores away when I heard someone talk and it was definitely not Aidan.

"So you guys have a villain party tonight? You guys are so stupid to do the same thing every party. Do you know how many villains are unmasked yearly from these parties? Do you?"

I heard someone groan and I peeked around the corner. A superhero had Aidan on his knees. Aidan looked like he had taken a few hard hits to the face. "I'll just give you the answer. on average, twenty-five villains are unmasked. Would you like to be next?"

I had to be quick. A fallen security guard was lying on the floor next to me and he looked unconscious. I dropped my bags quietly and quickly searched for his taser. I grabbed it and silently walked around to the back of the hero. The hero was too busy making fun of Aidan to be paying attention to me. Now, I had to use that advantage.

As quietly as I possibly could, I stepped up behind the hero. I used the taser on her and Aidan turned around suddenly to see what had occurred. "You just saved my freaking career! Thank you!" He said hugging me tightly.

"Alright, alright. Let's get a move on because he are running behind."

"Shoot!" Aidan exclaimed looking at his watch. "Let's get the bags and go!"
