Chapter 5
Huey and Dewey sat across the table holding each other's hands in fear as Louie glared at them from across the room. It was breakfast time and everyone stared at the triplets as they were seated at the table.
"What's going on between them Mr. McDuck?" Webby asked him who just shrugged and shook his head. She decided to just let it go, even without siblings of her own, she knew they'd resolve things sooner or later. Louie looked down and stared at the butter knife next to him, he picked it up and made sure that his brothers could see it. Dewey jumped and hid behind Huey at the sight of the knife. Donald looked over at Louie, who was no longer holding the knife, and who just shrugged. He looked back at his other nephews and saw them holding each other closely, a hint of terror in their eyes as they looked at their younger brother. A thump was heard at Louie's end of the table. Everyone turned their attention towards the noise and saw a fork shoved into the table, but no Louie. Huey held Dewey close as he heard something behind them. Dewey looked around the chair and saw nothing there.
"Where d-did he go?" He wondered. Huey screamed as he felt something touch his ankle. He jumped back and knocked the chair that he was sharing with Dewey over. "What? What is it?" Dewey asked as he tried to calm Huey down.
"Som-s-something, something, t-touched my an-ankle!" Huey sobbed. Donald went over towards them and helped them up.
"Boys, what's going on?" He asked.
"Nothing!!" They yelled. "We'll be in our rooms!" Huey grabbed Dewey's hand again and rushed out of the room.
"That was close." Huey breathed out as he entered his room with Dewey.
"H-Huey, I'm scared......Louie's gonna hurt us." Dewey sobbed.
"N-no he won't."
"How do you know I won't?" Dewey screamed at the sound of his younger brother's voice as his tears fell faster.
"Leave us alone Llewellyn!!" Huey shouted. "Why do you even want to hurt us!?" Louie shrugged.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe it's the fact that you treat me like I can't take care of myself." Louie grabbed Dewey and pulled him towards him. He pulled out Webby's knife and put it near Dewey's face. "It'd be a shame if this knife were to, oh I don't know, cut him!" Louie placed the knife on Dewey's cheek and slit it across to form a medium sized cut that was now bleeding.
"Louie, stop this!" Huey commanded as he grabbed Dewey back from his other brother and then checked him carefully for any serious harm, placing his hand the cheek that wasn't cut. "Are you okay?" He asked. Dewey nodded.
"I'm a little light headed, but I'm fine."
"Why can't you leave the worrying just between you two? Why move it to me!?" Louie threw the knife at the door, getting it stuck.
"Why are you doing this Lou!?" Dewey yelled. "We didn't even do anything!!"
"You don't know!? Y-you seriously d-don't know!?" Louie fell to his knees and sobbed into his hands. "You guys might think it is, but, Being The Baby Isn't That Easy!"
(Don't worry, there's one more chapter, its doesn't end here.)
