I woke up again only to find that Ludwig was gone. I have been staying here at Ludwig's for 3 days now. I let out a sigh and looked towards the window. 'So was last night only a dream?' I thought. I got up out of the bed, left the room and went downstairs then went outside. When I went outside, I couldn't believe what I saw. I saw Ludwig wearing a black wife beater shirt, camo pants, and black combat boots. He was running laps and he was sweating. I just stood there and watched as a drop of rolled down his head and into his shirt. Needless to say, I was blushing like crazy. I just stood there in silence happily watching him from a distance. But that didn't last long."Good morning, Frau! Dream of zhe awesome me? Keseseses~" I turned around to see a tall albino man, with silver-white hair and crimson eyes. I was so confused for a moment that I didn't notice that he slipped an arm around my waist. "H-hey! Let me go!" I squeaked once I noticed what he was doing but being the shy person I am, I just closed my eyes and turned away from the albino man.

~~~Ludwig POV~~~

I had just finished doing my morning laps when I heard Rita's voice and my brother's laugh. I saw Gilbert with a hand around Rita's waist and Rita had her eyes shut and she was looking away from Gilbert. I jogged over, removed Gilbert off of Rita, and pushed him against the wall. "Back off, Bruder. She is MY friend." I said with a small growl in my voice. "My bad. Zorry Frau." Gil said as he left and went back into the house. I sighed then turned to speak to Marita but she was gone. 'Gott, not again' I thought. I started to look around the backyard for her only to hear that lovely singing voice again. I backed up and saw Rita sitting on the balcony, the wind blowing her long black hair as she continued to sing. I let out a small sigh but I guess she heard that because she immediately stopped singing, looked over the balcony and saw me. "Rita, why did you stop singing? You have such a beautiful singing voice." I told her and wow, she blushed a shade of red that would put Antonio's tomatoes to shame. "Hey Rita, would you like to hang out with me today?" I asked her while my heart was racing. "Okay" was all I heard. Then she turned around and went inside and I did the same.

She wanted to go to her apartment to go and change her clothes so I drove her to her home. She invited me to come in and I sat on the couch as I saw her walk off into another room to go change. When she came back out I blushed a little but quickly looked away. She came out wearing a black tank top, black shoes, and the main reason why I was blushing was the fact that she was wearing a red and black plaid miniskirt.

~~Rita POV~~

I came out of my room wearing my favorite outfit and I saw Ludwig blush a little. To be honest, I thought it was cute and I kind of started to blush too."W-what do you think? I-is this okay?" I asked nervously and started to blush a little more. "Y-ya, that looks really good on you, Rita." He responded and blushed a little more. "So, want to go to the park?" He asked and I just nodded happily.

--time skip--

We finally arrived at the park and the weather was perfect. We walked and chatted for awhile. He would sometimes laugh and I loved his laugh, he seemed really happy. I was having so much fun with him. Then he lead me off the trail and towards a small clearing were there was a weeping willow tree looming over a spring. It was a beautiful sight. He lead me over and helped me climb onto one of the willows large roots and sat down and then he handed me a beautiful water lilly flower. I blushed as I thanked him and placed the flower in my hair. We sat there for a while in silence, so after a while I got back up and went off towards the meadow that was surrounding the spring.

~~~ narrator POV~~~

"~Kesesesese~ So that is the Frau that my little Bruder likes. Ready guys?" Gilbert asked his two comrades Francis and Antonio. "Ohohoh! What a belle, I want the belle now. I say we take her clubbing with us tonight, oui?" Francis asked. "That chica es muy Bonita. I agree." Antonio said and Gilbert just nodded in agreement. (OH DEAR GOD! IDK Y IM WRITING THIS BUT HERE IT GOES *opens the gates of Hell* please don't throw tomatoes at me)

~~~Rita POV~~~

I was just wandering near the edge of the meadow still blushing about the flower Ludwig gave me. I was so busy busy thinking about him that I didn't realize that someone was standing behind me. Then the next thing I knew, I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist, then I felt my skirt rise up in the back. I let out a scream as I tried to struggle for my freedom. (Gilbert stayed in the woods to watch) I started to cry as I felt a hand start to go up the back of my shirt.

~~~Ludwig POV~~~

I heard Rita screams. I hurried up and run towards her only to see Francis with his arm wrapped around Rita's waist and his other hand was fidgeting inside her shirt. And Antonio was lifting her skirt up and rubbing her bum. I got pissed as I ran up to them throwing a right hook at Francis in the side which made him fall over then I kicked Antonio in the back which made him fall over. Then they both got up and ran off. I turned back towards Rita and held her close to me. "I'm sorry I left you alone Rita. I'm so sorry." I told her as she cried into my chest. I held her close to me and rested my chin on her head. "Rita...I..lo... Never mind" I said blushing. She looked up at me to look at my eyes. Oh how I wish I could tell her how I feel about her.

~~~Rita POV~~~

I looked up at him to look into his eyes. His beautiful ice blue eyes. I wanted to tell him how grateful I am for him being there for me but I'm just too shy. So I leapt into his arms and wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. He then led me towards the root bench of the willow tree and he sat me down and sat next to me. I owe Ludwig so much for finding me in the woods when I ran off, comforting me when I woke up from the nightmares of last night, letting me stay in the guest room of his house, and so much more. All he wanted to know was 'what was bothering me at night' I owe him that much. "L-Ludwig?" I asked shyly. "What is it Rita?""Well I-I think I'm ready to tell you about my nightmare""Okay, don't force yourself. Take your time.""Ludwig, like I told you before, I'm a citizen of Brazil and here. Well...before I lived here, I lived in Brazil. I lived in Rio de Janeiro, the city where I was born. I practically grew up there. I was surrounded by the love of my Mama and Papa. Then my baby brother Rico was born and I loved him very much. I knew he loved me too when he held onto my finger and smiled." I said as I started to feel the tears swell up. "O-one day after I came home from kindergarten, we ate dinner like every night but after dinner there...there was a knock on the door. Papa told Mama to go get Rico and hide ourselves. But the door broke down and men come into my home, men with guns, men wearing black bandanas. They took..."I started to choke up from the tears as I told him the story while the memory played in my head."Rita, don't force yourself, please." Ludwig begged but I didn't listen." They took Mama and Papa. I was still holding onto Rico. But they forced me and Mama to watch them beat up Papa..a-and then they shot him in front of me. Then the men took Mama who was begging and pleading with the men to leave me and Rico alone, to let us go. But they forced me to watch as they raped my Mama in front of me. Then they shot her in front of me too" I said as I cried in Ludwig's arms, just like I did on the night that I woke up in the hospital."Then I took a chance, while holding onto my baby brother I carried him and ran to escape. I let out blood curdling screams to alert the neighbors. But they caught me and one man grabbed Rico's upper body but I held onto Rico's lower half and I bit the man who was trying to take Rico away. I bit down as hard as I could while the man would hit me on the head with the butt of his gun until I was grazed by a bullet. I fell down and was forced to watch in horror as they...they shot my baby brother Rico in front of my eyes." I cried harder as I spoke of how Rico was killed. I moved my right hand up to my locket and griped it tightly as I cried in Ludwig's arms. "I woke up in the hospital only to find my mother's locket which was covered in her's, Papa's, and Rico's blood." I said as the tears kept flowing down my face with no signs of stopping anytime soon. "I was only five when that happened. I was never the same after that. I've always been alone, for 16 years, I grew up alone without love, happiness, laughter, and family. The only time I ever feel those emotions Ludwig, is when I'm with you." I said as I cried some more. I was surprised that he didn't push me away or say anything. He just held me close to him and what he said after a few minutes surprised me." Rita, I'm so sorry. No one should ever have to be alone or grow up without love. I promise you, Rita, that I will never leave you alone. I won't let you feel alone anymore." He said as he lifted my chin up so my face was level with his. Then he leaned in and gave me a soft kiss on the lips.
