I stood in front of the mirror adding the final touches to my make up before the show started, I would normally be in the make up area but they were there and I wasn't in the mood for there snide comments and insults tonight so I decided to get ready in Roman's locker room.

Roman walked in hair in a tight bun and his Shield gear on they were apart of the opening segment tonight so he liked to be ready well before time.

"You know there are people who can do that for you babe?"

"Yeah I know but Eva and her little click are there and I wasn't in the mood for there insults tonight, I can go and get ready some where else if you don't want me here"

I leant against a table that was placed in the middle of the room my head down, Roman walked over until he was stood in front of me lifting my head up so that I could look at him

"I wasn't meaning anything by it I love having you in here with me but you shouldn't have to avoid being in the same part of the arena as them, you have been here just as long as them and longer than others"

"Its not about that though is it, its about the fact that they think I get everything handed to me because I'm married to you"

"You would be where your at even if you weren't married to me because you are damn well good at your job Renee, you know it, I know it, your friends know and Vince knows it, you have plenty of people who have got your back and you know I am always here for you that's never going to change, I love you"

"I love you to"

He placed his lips on mine holding it until it was interrupted by a knock on the door

"Renee we're up"

Corey stood in the doorway, I have known Corey ever since we met in NXT we have been friends ever since

"I'll see you after the show"

I kissed Roman one more time before walking out of the room, I saw Eva and Mandy at the end of corridor preparing myself for her to say something, my nerves eased a little bit when Corey placed his arm round my shoulder

"Ignore them, I've got your back"

I gave him a small smile, walking past them hearing them say something I couldn't hear what it was but I knew it was about me

After the show

I walked backstage after the show, it wasn't a bad night The Shield they were apart of the opening segment, Dean and Seth got a tag team title opportunity at Hell in a Cell this Sunday and Roman ended the show by taking out Strowman before there Hell in a Cell match in 6 days.

"Hey Renee good job tonight"

I could hear the sarcasm in her voice so I just carried on walking

"You know Mandy it amazes me that someone who is so crap and useless on commentary still manages to still be on there, benefits of been married to Roman Reigns you see can't get fired"

"Yeah well at least she didn't have to drop on to her back to get where she is Eva unlike some people"

I looked to see Sasha walking down the hall passing them as she said it, I couldn't help but smile at Sasha's insult

"What's the matter Eva haven't got a comeback or are you trying to think of one don't overwork that brain now you will give yourself a headache, come on Renee lets get out of here the guys will be waiting of us"

I couldn't of been more relieved when Sasha showed up, I am so grateful to have a friend like her but it doesn't mean its the end of it, the insults will still come but I am always prepared for them.
