After what seemed like hours of walking and shooting infected, you five finally got to the 'base'. You originally thought it was the broken down house you guys were walking too but no, it was the sturdy looking safe room next to it. At least it was safer since no infected could get in, the best they could do was claw at the door from the looks of it. Nick went up to the door and pried it open, Ushering you to go first. You simply did a shy smile and ran inside in case infected saw, the others followed except Ellis. Ellis went up to Nick, glaring him in the eyes. How could someone he trusted so much and even saw as a best friend betray him. He stepped up to Nick, causing Nick to be confused.

"Why are you being so nice to her Nick?" Ellis said with clear anger in his words.

"Because she is new to the team and we want her to trust us, I liked how she took on that tank, all we had to do was one final blow and it perished." Nick claimed now noticing the weird glint in Ellis' eyes.

Coach, Rochelle and You Just stared at the two, they didn't close the door. Ellis looked back at them and gave a slight smile. He put his index finger up in a "Hold on" sort of way and closed the safe room door, Leaving Ellis outside with Nick and you with Rochelle and Coach. You sat down on the cold concrete floor trying to think of what Ellis was saying. You couldn't figure out why Ellis was acting so weird when all Nick was doing was being nice like he said. 

Ellis then pushed Nick against a wall near the safe room door, knocking the wind out of him.

"Lies-" Ellis said as he pinned Nick. Nick struggled but soon found a way out. Nick kicked Ellis where the sun don't shine and Ellis wheezed while stumbling back. 

"What the fuck is your problem, Ellis!" Nick swore while Ellis tried to regain his breath and shook his head.

"I-I'm not quite sure Nick, Sorry..." Ellis apologized. Ellis was not quite sure why he acted like that, maybe the stress of being the only few humans alive was getting to his head and making him a little crazy. After all...It was just a friendly gesture right? RIGHT?

Nick glared at Ellis, not quite trusting him as he opened the safe room door and walked inside. Nick looked over at you and gestured his hand to the small metal table that had supplies on it.

"Take what you need, we have plenty. We are also leaving in the Morning." Nick said as he leaned against the wall. Ellis came in shortly after and grunted at Nick. You looked over the supplies on the table. There was so much things that could be useful, like a Hunting Rifle, AK-47 and Assault Rifle. There was also Melee weapons  which were an Axe and Machette. Adrenaline, Pain Pills, Molotovs, Pipe Bombs, Med-Kits and a pile of ammo was also found. It was so hard to choose what to bring. Ellis walked over to you and put his hand on your shoulder, making you uncomfortable.

"I recommend the hunting rifle and Axe, But take what you will." He said with a smile. You gave an awkward smile and nodded. You did kind of like that combo.... You picked up the Hunting rifle and examined the scope, perfect for sniping infected at long distances. You put the rifle on your back and picked up the Axe, gently running your finger over the blade, it was sharp enough to cut rotting flesh like it was butter. You accidently cut your self testing the Axes' blade, causing you to gasp in pain. Ellis saw your pained expression and quickly grabbed a Med-kit and opened it. Ellis grabbed a band-aid and disinfectant from the kit and went over to you. 

He strongly grabbed your cut hand and pulled it to him with a dark glint in his eyes. He dabbed the disinfectant on a cloth and rubbed it on your cut to clean it. You shut your eyes tightly in pain from the strong stinging sensation. He looked at your pained face, feeling guilt, but he didn't want to risk infection so he had to. He then put the band-aid on and made sure it was on tightly to apply pressure. You opened your eyes and stared at your hand and then looked at Ellis' smiling face.

"T-Thanks..." you managed to mutter.

"Not problem!" Ellis said happily but his eyes had that dark glint again. "Just don't do that again...." he demanded in a dark tone which caused you to shiver.

"R-R-Right-" you replied and then grabbed a Med-kit along with a Molotov and Adrenaline. You would need the speed in the adrenaline later on, you just knew it.

You then proceded to sit down with Rochelle and talked with her for a while to pass time. The whole time Ellis sat next to you, crossing his arms and glaring at Rochelle. You never had a conversation with him.

Soon it was time to sleep so you laid on the concrette floor, slightly shivering from how cold it was and that you felt like eyes were buring holes into your back.

Coach, Rochelle and Nick had already fallen asleep on the floor. It seemed like they were used to this by now. Ellis and you were the only ones up which scared you a bit. He kind of scares you.

Ellis was silently wishing that you would let him hug you to warm you up or to have you lay on him as a pillow since the ground was hard. But he could see you tense up when ever you were around him, or shiver when he touched you. He'll admit, He kind of liked that. But he could also sense that you did that because you didn't like him, But he will do whatever is in his power to make you yearn for him. To make you love him.

(Well... What do you think-? This was the 2nd Chapter and I already have ideas for the 3rd one... So... See ya next chapter- Also sorry for the strong language. It should say if you read the description that there is Strong Language.)
