"hey eddie, these birth control pills?" richie snorts as he opens a cubord full of eddies medication.

"yeah and i'm saving it for your twin sister, this is private stuff" he hisses and slams the cuboard door shut. "d-don't let stan hear you say that e-eddie" bill chuckles, getting a glare from both richie and eddie. 

the boys start to walk out when eddies mom stops them, "eddie bear..." she dips her nail polish brush into a tube. "where you boys off to in such a rush?"

"uhm, j-ju-jush my uh, my backyard. i got a n-new..." bill pauses when richie speaks up. "a new croquet set! jesus, spit it out b-b-bill." 

"okay, oh and sweetie don't go rolling on the grass if its just been cut. you know how bad your allergies can get" mrs k says as she blows on her nails. "yes mom" the boys turn and start to leave. 

"aren't you forgetting something?"

eddie sighs and walks over to his mom, he leans in and gives her a kiss on the cheek. richie tries to hold in his laughter, snickering. bill rolls his eyes at him. 

"do you want one from me too mrs k? i-" eddie shoves richie out the door, bill chuckles. "sorry mommy!" eddie calls out and shuts the door.

ash decides to get out of the house, as she has been cooped up in her room for most of the morning. she puts on a rainbow, stripy top and some blue shorts. she slips into her white converse and pedals down town.

she stops at keenes drug store, as she wanted to look around. she parks her bike outside and wanders in. she turns and sees beverly, awkwardly looking at the 'sanitary products'. ash walked up and stood beside her.

"that time of the month eh?" she sighs. beverly jumps and spins around, "holy shit ashley! i almost jumped out of my skin!" she huffs. "sorry." 

"and yeah, i need some help." she whispers. ashley looks around and takes a box of tampax off the shelf. "this should work" she says, giving the box. "thanks!" she smiles.

the walk and turn an isle, but ash notices greta. she grabs bevs arm and guides her down the next one over. she stops in her tracks and sees bill, stan and eddie. whos arms are full of medical supplies. beverly quickly puts the box behind her back.

"y-you okay?" bill asks. "yeah, we're fine" ash says with an arched eyebrow.

"whats wrong with you?" beverly asks. 

"n-none of your business" stan says in a higher tone than usual. ashley looks up at him, confused when eddie butts in. "there's a kid outside that looks like someone killed him." 

"we need some s-s-su-supplies but, we don't have enough money" bill explains. "here, i'll pay for those and you distract mr keene" ash says and takes the box of tampax. she puts it behind her back and the girls shuffle past the boys.

ash pays for the box and mr keene puts it in a bag. she then hands it under the desk to beverly and ash turns to face the boys. 

beverly and mr keene start talking and then there is a loud crash. "shoot, i am so sorry!" beverly says. "its okay" he smiles and bends down to clean it up. ashley nods at the boys and they start running out. eddie crashing into a shelf of band aids, making the girls giggle.

ashley walks out before beverly does and she notices the boys down an alley way. 

"whats going on here?" she says and stands in front of them. richie looks at her and then back at the kid on the ground. "just suck the wound!" he yells at eddie. she looks closer at the boy and notices its the new kid ben.

"i need to focus right now!" eddie shouts. ashley looks and sees a cut on bens forehead and a blood nose. "here," she sighs and kneels next to the kid. she reaches over and grabs a disinfected wipe and starts to clean the blood. 

stan peers over her shoulder to try see what shes doing. "this may sting a bit," she mumbles. she wipes the blood off his cut on his forehead and ben winces through his teeth. "sorry," she whispers.

"oh god hes bleeding oh my god!" stan says as he looks over at what eddies doing. "calm down stan, jesus" she rolls her eyes. 

"suck the wound before you apply the band aid this is 101!" richie complains. ben then pulls down his shirt and ash pulls away from his half cleaned face. 

"are you okay, that looks like it hurts?" beverly asks. "oh, n-no i'm good i just fell!" ben stutters.

"yeah, right into henry bowers!" richie comments. ash groans and grabs another wipe. 

"shut it r-r-richie!" bill hisses. "why? its the truth!" 

"you sure they got the right stuff to, fix you up?" bev says with a wink. ben smiles. "w-we'll take care of it. thanks beverly" bill smiles.

"sure, maybe i'll see you around?" she asks. "we were thinking about going to the q-q-quarry tomorrow?"

"sure, if ashley will go. i'm in" she smirks. ash groans, "seriously bev?" 

beverly smiles and winks. ash didn't want to go, but also didn't want to fuck up an opertunity for bill and beverly to get closer. 

"fine" 

"great! see you all then" she smiles and waves as she walks out.

ash turns back to ben and finishes up wiping the blood. "nice going bringing up bowers infront of her!" stan hisses at richie, ash rolls her eyes and scoffs.

"yeah dude did you hear what she did?" eddie whispers. "what did she do?" ben says, looking up at richie confused.

"oh my god" ash groans and rubs her temples. "more like who'd she do? from what i hear the list is longer than my wang!" richie sniggers.

ash face palms, "thats not saying much" stan mumbles, getting a giggle out of ashley. his cheeks flush pink. "they're just rumors" bill and ash say in usion. 

"anyway, bill had her back in 3rd grade, they kissed in the school play! the review says you can't fake that sort of passion!" richie babbles. bill blushes slightly and stan smirks. "sad thing is i had to witness it on stage" ashley jokes, getting a look from richie.

"now!" richie claps his hands. "pip pip and tellyho my good fellows! i believe this chap requires our utmost attention! get in there dr k and fix him up!"

ashley cringes at his horrible english accents and throws the wipe away. she stands up next to stan and leans against the wall. 

"why don't you shut the fuck up because i know what i'm doing and i dpon't want you to do the british guy on me-" eddie snarls.

"suck the wound! get in there!" 

"holy christ" stan groans. "well, at least you don't have to live with him" ash smirks.

"come on richie, you're taking forever" ash complains as she sits on her bike. richie walks his bike up to her and hops on. "see you guys tomorrow!" bill yells at them as they pedal off.

"danm ash, legit the whole club has a crush on you" richie says as they bike through the streets. "shut up richie" she scoffs, "what! its true! have you seen eddie and st-" he stops before he says too much. "what?" she asks, rasing an eyebrow.

"n-nevermind" he says in a lower tone. ashley starts to laugh as they carry on home. but the thing that confused her was, why would boys have a crush on somebody like her?
