I glanced up and did a double take as a boy with short hair walked in. Lindsey looked down the line at me and saw me drooling over the one with short hair. I looked at her and she mouthed a name: Liam. I smirked and looked down at my shoes. "Girls, this is Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall, and Zayn." Liz told us, pointing to the boys. Lindsey swooned at the mention of Harry. Liz told us that we could mingle and the girls all surrounded the boys. I sat down on the couch and pulled out my phone.

"Not a fan?" An Irish voice asked.

"Nope. Sorry, but boybands aren't my thing." I replied without looking up.

"Well, I like you. You're the only one not freaking out over us. I mean we're just regular guys." He said. I looked up into a pair of blue eyes. I got caught up in the depth of them for a second...wait what?! I never got like this over boys, especially not pop star, boy band ones like this.

"Thanks. I signed up as a joke and look what happened." I replied. A group of girls came over and started squealing over the blonde one.

"Thanks Niall!" One screeched. Niall. So that was his name. I wasn't really paying attention when Liz was introducing them.

"Hey sweetheart. Not a fan?" A boy with curly hair came and sat next to me.

"Nope. I already asked." Niall told him.

"Which one are you again?" I asked the boy with curly hair.

"Is she being serious right now?" The boy asked Niall. He nodded and the boy looked at me with wide eyes.

"My name is Harry." He said. So this was the one Lindsey was crushing on.

"Have you talked to her yet?" I asked Harry, pointing to Lindsey.

"No not yet, why?" Harry responded.

"Just go." I said, pointing to Lindsey again.

"Well she is kinda cute." He replied. I pushed him off the couch and over to her. I watched as he tentatively waved at her and her face turned bright red. The guy she was talking to waved and walked away. Harry moved in and they started talking. I noticed she started doing her "nervous movements": crossing and uncrossing her arms, biting her nails/cuticles, and constantly messing with her hair.

"They make a cute couple." Niall remarked. He scared me and I jumped a little.

"Yeah they do." I told him, watching as Lindsey wrote something on a piece of paper and passed it to him.

"She just totally slipped him her number." Niall laughed. I cracked a half smile as Harry took it and smirked, causing Lindsey to blush again. I turned and faced Niall.

"I'm gonna be honest, I thought you and Harry had something going on for sure." I blurted. Niall looked taken aback.

"A lot of non-fans do." He replied. I nodded and someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and Lindsey was standing there.

"Hey I met some cool girls that I want you to meet." Lindsey said. I rolled my eyes, but reluctantly got up.

"Nice talking to you." Niall called. I wave and walked with Lindsey.

"Oooo, what was that?" She smirked.

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing...compared to you and Harry anyway." I replied. She looked down and blushes again.

"Ok." Lindsey said, as we arrived at a small huddle of girls. "Kaci, Alicia, Massie, Hailey, and Dylan, this Bethany, and Bethany this is Kaci, Alicia, Hailey, Dylan, and Massie." Lindsey said in one breath.

"We've met." Massie smiled at me. I nodded at looked at the group: Kaci had shoulder length auburn colored hair and bright blue eyes, Alicia had long dark hair and dark brown eyes, Hailey had short dirty blonde hair and light brown eyes, Dylan had long orange red hair and green eyes, and Massie had long light brown hair and grey eyes.

"Beth, your eyes are gorgeous!" Dylan commented.

"Um actually Dylan, she just goes by Bethany." Lindsey told her.

"Oh...I'm sorry." Dylan mumbled.

"It's fine." I spoke up.

"Okay ladies, since you've all had a chance to mingle we have to get this show on the road!" Liz called. We all lined up again as the boys called out who was going with them today.

"I'll be taking Jess, Kara, Lindsey, Kristen, and Alicia." Harry announced. Lindsey smiled at Alicia and they walked over together.

"I'll be taking Dani, Dylan, Lisa, Amy, and Caitlyn." The one with dark hair (Zayn?) told us.

"I'll be taking Kaci, Lucy, Avery, Carleigh, and Claire." Niall called. The girls all walked over to him.

"I'll be taking Hailey, Andie, Melissa, Sammie, and Karissa." The funny one (Louis?) yelled.

"And I'll be taking Massie, Hannah, Elizabeth, Bethany, and Alison." Liam shouted. My eyes widened and Massie and I walked over to Liam.

"He is so cute." Massie whispered. I felt my body stiffen as I realized that Massie had a better chance then I did with Liam.

"Yeah." I mumbled.

"But the one I really like is Zayn." Massie pointed to the dark haired one. I gave myself a mental high five for getting the name right. "They're all cute to me." She added. I smiled a little. Liam took us over to the side.

"Okay girls, today we're going on an activity. I can't tell you where we are going, but I can tell you what you need: tenni shoes, shorts, and a short sleeve t-shirt." Liam explained. We all went to our rooms to grab our things. I grabbed a pair of my Nike's, some running shorts, and a dri-fit short sleeve shirt. I quickly changed and went back downstairs. I was the first one down and as I was turning the corner I saw Liam sitting down with his head in his hands.

"Are you okay?" I asked. He jumped and shook his head no. I lowered myself down next to him and he turned his head.

"My girlfriend and I just broke up." Liam told me. He had tears shining in his eyes and his voice cracked slightly.

"How long were you guys together?" I replied, lightly placing my hand on his arm.

"Since before The X-Factor." Liam stared at the wall and a tear fell from his eye. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a napkin. Liam took it and wiped his eyes. "Sorry for putting this all on you." He said.

"No, it's okay." I firmly told him.

"Thanks for listening." He replied. I smiled at him and he smiled back.

"I may not be one of those sweet makeup wearing girls, but I can listen." I laughed. The girls started slowly trickling downstairs (Massie being the first) and Liam and I got up from our seat against the wall. I walked over to Massie and put my hands in my pockets.

"What was the about?" Massie whispered.

"His girlfriend and him just broke up." I mumbled back. Her eyes widened.

"Not him and Danielle!" She cried. I gave her the "shut up" face and she put her hands over her face. I looked around and luckily Liam was talking to the girl named Alison. I let out a sigh of relief and looked around: most if the girls were wearing sports bras, spandex leggings, and colorful tenni-shoes.

"Where the hell do they think we're going? For a leisurely jog?" I asked Massie; we were wearing almost the same thing but Massie had on a tank top instead of a short sleeve shirt.

"I'm not sure." She snorted. We started laughing as one of the girls ripped her leggings. She started whining and crying which just made us laugh harder.

"Are you guys ready?" Liam called. All the girls whooped and yelled back. "Well then let's go!" He added, and we walked out to a Hummer limo. I'm totally ready.

Sorry if its going a little slow but I promise it will pick up. I want to promote "When it's Tough" by "carrleeighhh" and "The Evolution From This to That" by "Chloe44". The one by my friend Chloe isn't really my thing but it's still really good...hers is about a band she likes. Carleigh's is about Niall's twin who is falling for Liam.
