Imagine feeling sad and Mitchell tries to cheer you up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been a year since you
had randomly appeared in Bristol, England on the front step of Mitchell, George and Annie's flat. You immediately knew who they were, but didn't say anything because you didn't want to freak them out. Especially Annie and George.
You had grown extremely close to the Ghost and Werewolf. But you felt closest to Mitchell. He was always so kind to you and made sure you felt comfortable in their flat. But recently, you had started to feel homesick. You missed your home even though you were happy living with three of your favorite characters from your favorite TV show.
George sighed and looked up the steps, hoping you would come down. It had been at least a week of your staying in your room, refusing to come down. Annie walked over.
"She still not coming?" She asked gently. George shook his head, still looking at the stairs.
"I've tried everything. I've tried luring her with ramen, her favorite food, I've tried asking her to watch a movie with me, but nothing works. I don't know what to do," he sighed. "She has kept to staying in her room, only coming down to eat, drink or use the loo," George said. He looked at Annie. "I don't know what to do anymore." He said. Annie nodded. She then looked at him and smiled.
"Maybe, if we can't get her to come down, maybe Mitchell can," she said. George looked at the Ghost in confusion. Annie rolled her eyes lightly. "If she won't listen to us, maybe Mitchell can convince her. You know how close those two are." She said. Neither of them heard the door open.
"Convince who of what?" A familiar voice asked. The two whirled around to see the Vampire himself standing behind them. He had just come home from being out and about.
You sniffed as you watched a video of your brother playing with your dog for the third time that week. You missed your family, especially your little brother so much. A knock resounded on your door. You quickly shut off your phone and wiped the tears away. You laid on your side, back facing the door. You heard it open and someone walked in.
"Go away, George. I appreciate the thought, but I'm not hungry." You said quietly, thinking it was George who had come to give you ramen.
"I'm amused you think that my voice raises an octave in pitch whenever I'm upset." A familiar, Irish voice said. You knew it was Mitchell. You sighed.
"What do you want, Mitchell?" You asked, back still facing him. Mitchell made his way over to your bed. He sat on the edge. He looked at you.
"George and Annie told me that you haven't left your room in a while." He said. You shrugged.
"Good for them. They can observe." You said. Mitchell sighed. He placed his gloved hand on your shoulder.
"[Y/N], they're worried about you," he said. "You haven't left your room in a week. It's not healthy." He said. You turned around and his eyes softened as he saw old and new tear tracks along your cheeks.
"I miss them so much, Mitchell," you whispered. "I-I miss my family. I miss my mom, my dad, my little brother," you shook your head and turned back around. "I shouldn't be speaking of missing my family. You haven't gotten to see your mother in one hundred years. It's selfish of me." You said. Mitchell frowned and gently pulled you up so you could face him.
"Do not hide your feelings," Mitchell whispered, looking into your eyes. "You have every right to be feeling homesick. Don't hide your emotions," he said. You sniffed and looked down. He tucked a finger under your chin and made you look up. Another tear fell from your eyes. Mitchell gently brushed it away. "I promise you we will find a way to get you home." He said. You nodded and he pulled you into a hug, gently cupping the back of your head with his hand. You pulled away.
"Thank you for that." You said. Mitchell smiled.
"Anytime. Now, how about we go into the living room, we make some of the ramen you like, get George and Annie, and we can watch some of your favorite and funniest videos from your time." He said. You smiled and jumped up, racing down the stairs. Mitchell smiled as you left. His smile fell. He knew he needed to keep his word about getting you home, but in reality, none of them wanted you to find your way home. They would miss you so much. The flat wouldn't be the same without you.
//I apologize if this is short and crappy. I felt a little down when I wrote this and noticed there were no imagines or fanfictions of Mitchell comforting the reader, so I decided to make my own. I hope you all like it.//
