When Kevin and Barbara started their romantic relationship, Bruce and Andrea were happy to know about this. There of course came "the talk" between Kevin and Bruce. Kevin remembered it well. Bruce took Kevin to his bedroom. "Kevin, I'm glad to know you're in your first relationship," said Bruce, "and I doubt you'll do anything I wouldn't do. Still, if you and Barbara do anything like I did when your mother and I accidentally conceived you..." Kevin turned red in the face from embarrassment and said, "Dad... I'm a Catholic... I'm not allowed to have pre-marital sex..." Bruce opened up the top shelf of his drawer and pulled out a pack of condoms. "These aren't toys," warned Bruce, "but if you want to do... The birds and the bees with Barbara, you're more than welcome to use my condoms for safe sex." Kevin blushed and said, "well thanks Dad. I appreciate it."

It was a few weeks after Kevin and Barbara started their romantic relationship together. It was the nighttime, and Kevin was watching Jeopardy. Soon the show ended, and Kevin was ready to do his nightly exercises. He went to the training room and started doing shadowboxing, a method he learned from his father. Kevin was trained by Bruce, Dick, Barbara, and Dinah in combat, and he was almost good. Once he was finished shadowboxing, Kevin proceeded to lift weights that were 80 pounds. He was at 30 when his cell phone rang. Kevin stopped lifting and picked up the phone. He saw it was Barbara. He answered in a nonchalant voice, "hey babe." Barbara replied on the phone, "Hey Kevin... I've been so busy I haven't gotten enough sleep. Your dad wants me to go home and get some rest. You don't mind if I come over and sleep with you, do you?" Kevin shrugged and said, "sure, I don't see why not." Barbara then said on the phone, "great! See you in a bit. I love you." Kevin smiled and said, "I love you too Barbara." Once the phone was hung up, Kevin proceeded to do his crunches. He patiently waited for Barbara while doing his routine exercise.

Fifteen minutes later, Barbara came back to the Batcave, coming upstairs. She was still wearing her Batgirl outfit. Soon Kevin was finished with his exercises and saw Barbara in the living room as she took off her mask. "Well hello beautiful," he said, smirking. Barbara did a little eep, until she saw it was Kevin. "Hey Kevin," she said, smiling and blushing. She wandered over to Kevin and kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks for letting me do this," said Barbara. "No problem," said Kevin, "so how do you want to do this? My room, guest room? I could let you sleep on my bed." Barbara gave a teasing smirk and asked in a joking manner, "why Kevin... Have you never slept with a woman before?" Kevin innocently shook his head and said, "no I haven't." Barbara gently took Kevin's hand and said, "well that's going to change." Kevin guided Barbara to his bedroom, shutting the door behind him. "I don't exactly have any night gowns," said a bashful Kevin. Barbara placed her cape on a shelf and said, "well I wouldn't mind wearing one of your t-shirts and boxers." As Kevin looked for his pajamas, he said, "sure, why not?" He got out a Star Wars t-shirt and his boxers. "How are these?" Kevin asked. "They'll do," said Barbara. Kevin then went to his bathroom, and changed to his pajamas which consisted of a red tanktop, Washington Huskies sweats, and striped socks. Once he came back, he saw Barbara was out of her Batgirl suit, barefoot, wearing his Star Wars t-shirt and his boxers. Kevin was slack-jawed, blushing. "Like what you see?" Barbara teased, amused by Kevin's reaction. Kevin regained his composure and said, "oh yeah, definitely. You look good in my shirt and boxers." Kevin and Barbara went into his bed, covering themselves with his blankets. Barbara cuddled up to Kevin, wrapping her arms around him. "This feels nice..." Kevin said as he wrapped his arms around Barbara. "Sure does," she agreed, "thanks again for letting me do this Kevin."

"No problem Barbara," said Kevin, "I think I might like this. I love you." Barbara kissed Kevin on the lips and said, "I love you too. Good night." She yawned, laying her head down.  Kevin yawned, "good night." He closed his eyes, and Kevin and Barbara fell asleep, cuddling together.
