Andrea was outside Moreau Cosmetics, waiting for Dick, Tyler, Tim, and Allan. Soon Nightwing, Weapon, Robin, and Allan parked near Andrea because they were riding on their motorcycles. "Hope we didn't take too long Mrs. Beaumont," said Nightwing. "You didn't," said Andrea, "any ideas on how we sneak in?"

"Well this place is closed," said Allan, "how about we sneak in the back?" Nightwing nodded and said, "good idea. Let's go. Stay whelmed." The five of them snuck around into the back and saw it was closed. Allan then used his magic to make the backdoor unsolid. "Everyone get in, quick!" Allan ordered. Nightwing, Weapon, Robin, and Andrea then wandered inside. Allan then went inside, the backdoor solid again. As they looked around, Andrea said to Allan, "so, Kevin tells me you're the son of The Devil."

"Unfortunately yes," confirmed Allan, "but I'm not an evil demon. I'm at least trying to do the right thing. It ain't easy, but at least I'm trying." Andrea nodded and said, "after everything I've done as The Phantasm, I have no right telling my son who he can or can't be friends with. And I guess I can trust you." Allan smiled and said, "well that's good to know. I'm aware of your reputation Andrea. So I relate to your need for atonement. I got something for you." Allan then pulled out a card, giving it to Andrea. "What's this?" Andrea asked, holding the card. "It's a Get Out Of Hell Free Card," explained Allan, "basically if you have this card when you die, no matter what you've done in life, you'll go straight to Heaven and not to Hell when you die. I smuggled hundreds of these before I got banished. Even gave one to Alexander Hamilton before his duel with Aaron Burr. Consider this my gift to you." Andrea smiled and said, "thank you Allan. This is very generous of you. I can see why my son likes you."

"Well out of all the souls I've encountered in my centuries of living, your son's soul is the most human," said Allan, "I think I sense his presence. Come on, follow me." Allan then used his supernatural senses to find Kevin's essence. Suddenly, Allan, Andrea, and the heroes could hear the sounds of walls banging and the roars of what sounded like a lion in pain. "You think Kevin's in there?" Robin asked. "That's what scares me," said Allan, "I feel his presence in there. I can sense a lot of pain and fear. That pain and fear belongs to your son, Andrea." They found a cell door but when one of them tried opening it, the door was locked. Nightwing then got out a spray, and sprayed out a gel. The spray gel was shaped like his symbol. Then the spray gel exploded, destroying the door. Andrea thought fast and went inside. The others followed suit. "Kevin?" Andrea asked, looking around. "Mom?" Kevin asked, but his voice sounded lower. "Wait, did your voice get lower Kevin?" Robin asked. Kevin came out of the shadows, but he was different. He was now 7 feet tall, his body was bloated with muscles, he had fur all over his body including a large mane, he had a tail, claws on his now large hands and feet, and the face of a lion. The only thing distinctly recognizable about Kevin were his dark blue eyes which were bloodshot from a lack of sleep, and the only piece of clothing was his tattered and torn black pants. Kevin had been Spliced into a lion man!

Everyone gasped in horror. Allan, Nightwing, and Robin gave looks of disgust. Weapon clenched her fists in anger, a gleam of murder in her eyes. "They're so paying for this..." she growled. "Easy Tyler," said Nightwing, "I know you're angry..." Andrea walked over to her son and said, "oh my God... what have they done to my baby?" Tears were welling in her eyes as Andrea reached her hand to touch Kevin's face. Kevin allowed her to touch his face. "Those jerks drugged me and destroyed my phone," said Kevin, "then they tortured me and then they Spliced me!" He retracted his claws, hugged Andrea, and started crying. It was enough to make Andrea sob. But she hugged her son back and said, "it's okay... Mommy's got you..."

"Guys, I don't mean to ruin a tender moment," said Allan, "but you can cry later. We need to get the hell out of Dodge!" Nightwing nodded and said, "Allan's right. We got Kevin. Come on let's get out of here!" Kevin and Andrea calmed down and then followed the four heroes out of Kevin's cell. They ran to the exit and then Kevin punched the exit door open, letting everyone out. "Talk about letting out your aggression," said Weapon, "you think you can fit in one of those motorcycles?" Andrea shook her head and said, "Kevin's seven feet tall and probably very heavy. Doesn't seem likely." The alarm then went off as several security guards that worked for Moreau Cosmetics and several Splicers came out. Kevin roared at them. "We'll deal with them," said Nightwing, "you get your son out of here." Andrea nodded, looked at her son and said, "take my hand Kevin. We're going to disappear." Kevin then held Andrea's hand and mist and smoke covered them. They soon left the three heroes and Allan to fight off the guards and Splicers.
