Hello my lovelies,

Wow. It's been a long three weeks that I've been away from here. I'm immensely grateful to be back here, the fact that I can even write a single word is evidence that God loves me.

Thank you for sticking with me, for asking about my health. I'm a lot better now and I hope I can write more.

Happy Reading.

"I don't know how you people do it, but Kishiyas thinking they can usurp the first wife is the most horrible thing. Especially when they weren't there when you worked with your husband for the money they're leeching off. #mytwocents #womenarewomenworstenemies." Alhaji let the iPad drop from his hand and asked Elijah with venom,

"What is this garbage?" Elijah shrugged but took back the fallen Ipad. Alhaji rubbed at his eyes, he had not even had his bath yet, he just finished exercising for the day when Elijah stepped in with the news that Surayyah was dragging Nadia on Twitter.

"She said something about Miss Nadia going to the same dermatologist as she, just to stalk her, but that's not true, Miss Nadia's security say, she's had that dermatologist for at least for months now and if anything, it's Princess that is being intrusive." Alhaji raised his eyes with rage at Elijah, Elijah reared back.

"Don't ever call that foolish human, Princess, around me. What rubbish princess? Does that evil thing that behaves like the Devil in a woman look like a princess?" Elijah chuckled and nodded, looking down to swipe at the page his iPad was on.

He tapped on the quoted tweets and saw that someone had responded with a video. He tapped on his airpods and watched the two minutes, fifteen seconds video. Then he handed it to Alhaji.

"What's this?" He asked stonily, he was suddenly having the sort of morning that he always prayed at Fajr never to have. He watched the video at loud volume anyway, watching as his ex-wife bopped the nose of his fiance after slamming away the magazine she'd used to cover her face.

He also watched as the doctor told his ex-wife that she was the intruder as Nadia had been using the said dermatologist for months and she just made her second appointment. Alhaji looked up to Elijah who was sporting a look of schadenfreude, "Look at how she hit Nadia on the nose! And that one herself refused to tell me of this, preferring and preparing to suffer in silence?"

Alhaji raised his head to see Elijah school his features, lowering his head to watch the video that had been watched almost seventy thousand times. Then he waved Elijah off, picked up his phone and called Nadia.

The part that worried him was, he and Nadia had spoken the night before, he had sent her a text that morning that she replied to almost immediately, he didn't sense that there was a problem until he watched that video. She didn't leave a hint of the injustice she faced, and it hurt him even more that she was subjected to that.

The phone rang for a few more seconds, not connecting, Alhaji lowered the phone to look out the shaded windows of his home office. It was quite sunny out so early and Elijah liked to keep the room chill by pulling the floor length drapes.

"What about what we talked about?" Alhaji asked Elijah, Elijah shook his head and said, "They said you'll get it before today ends." Alhaji nodded and left Elijah to pack up and get ready for the day.

About an hour later, Alhaji got into the vehicle after eating breakfast. He had been in a solemn mood all week, fasting, making Dua for his impending marriage.

Elijah entered the car, right beside Alhaji, then he handed a sheaf of papers to the driver who buckled it to the front seat.

"Sir, the office said the papers arrived, she should be served hers any moment from now." Alhaji nodded and looked out the window, his anger simmering under the lid of his prayers to not blow up. The visible plan that his ex-wife had, he could clearly see it, and he would be a complete fool to step into her trap, wide open.

All she wanted was for him to come over, even if it was for a minute, she would take incriminating pictures and her social media savvy hands would put them on the world web and he would never be able to explain himself.

He watched the passing scenery till they reached the office and he stepped off the vehicle to take the an empty elevator to his office, leaving Elijah behind.

Alhaji arrived his office, usually, he went straight to a morning meeting with the heads of the factories and met his office turned out, lights turned on, and computer booting, but he had to do all that by himself.

He turned on the lights, the floor had been vaccummed and mopped to an inch of its life and the carpet was clean as well. The light scent of the expensive floor cleaner they used at the headquarters permeated the room.

Just as he watched his computer boot up, Elijah walked in, with an envelope that read, the Abuja High court and it's address. Alhaji took out the sheaf of papers that it held and read through it, nodding happily.

"I truly want her to violate this, so I can exert the full length of the law on her." He remembered he wanted to speak to Nadia again and he let the papers in his hands fall to the table, picked up his phone and called her. The phone rang for a few moments before being picked.

He and Nadia greeted for a moment before he asked her, "When were you going to tell me that you were assaulted by Na'im's mother?" The phone was on speaker so Alhaji heard Nadia let out air from her mouth before she said, "Assaulted? No oo. Nothing really happened."

Alhaji shook his head in amazement, "Don't even try to cover for her, the video is plastered all over social media. Elijah and the company's PR team are trying to see how many bloggers they can speak to to take down the videos they've uploaded."

Nadia gasped in surprise, before saying, "Subhanallah." Alhaji stopped folding the papers in his hands just as Elijah walked in, handing him a sheaf of filed papers.

"That woman won't cover for you if you did this to her, but here you are covering for her, being a good person when she doesn't even know what that means." Alhaji placed his hand on the file, pulling himself not to read it because it would half his concentration.

"I will tell you immediately anything happens next time." She promised. Alhaji nodded, he wanted to be able to nip whatever nonsense Surayyah was bringing in the bud before it even grew. Then he said, "Next time, don't be shy to do whatever she does back to you, if she slaps you, slap a teeth out of her mouth. I might not be there to defend-, Why are you laughing?"

Alhaji heard Nadia laugh some more before she said, "Have you forgotten that I represent a form of authority for your daughter now? Besides, I can't say I didn't know what I was going into agreeing to marry you. I can't go around slapping your ex-wife. It's not done." Alhaji looked at his phone, stifling the words that wanted to come from him. He wanted to say that he couldn't ever ask her to fight his battles, but he was grateful not to have to talk.

"I also wanted to tell you that I had a meeting with our moms and we've increased the guest list for the Kamu from fifty-six to one hundred and fifty eight. Invitations should have arrived Chiroma right about now." Alhaji exhaled in happiness, he had made plans to move his mother to Abuja permanently before the wedding due to how many women went to greet her at home just to talk about how unfair it was not to be invited to his wedding.

"The cost is not a problem, I hope you know, go all out." Alhaji heard Nadia chuckle out a hailing meant for wealthy people before she dropped the phone.

Immediately that call ended, Alhaji's phone rang again, he swiped right and out it on speaker. He decided to swipe through the papers Elijah had left while he spoke to Nadia, to make Surayyah stew and bask in the stupidity of actions.

"Are you going to keep me waiting or what? I have other things to do, Abdullah Bindawa." Alhaji let the page he had just finished reading fall and the crisp sound it made as it joined the other papers made him satisfied.

"From now on, you get nothing from me. Our ten thousand pounds a month agreement is over, I will not be paying for your Harrods credit, you will no longer be shopping at any high street brand under my name, especially that Birkin you filed under my name will now be paid from your own pocket, under no circumstance are you to mention my surname at the airport when you're carrying marijuana, never ever should you enter a space and say you're a Bindawa." Alhaji swallowed and pulled the glass of water Elijah placed in the cup holder in front of him and took a deep sip.

"All this for that girl who Na'im is even older than? You're not even ashamed! If you have no one to tell you that you're robbing the cradle, I'll tell you! You're destroying that girl's entire life and you have no one to tell you." Alhaji patted his lips with his handkerchief before saying,

"I will rather cut you off, and string you dry before I do anything to hurt 'that girl', know that and know peace." He unclasped his hands and drew his phone closer to himself before saying,

"And if I hear that you call her, I'll start chipping away at your shares at apple. I'll take every thing away from you, Surayyah, everything!" He cut the call and watched as Elijah walked in with another sheaf of papers.

"Sir? Henny Penn just received the chemical formula for the Children's Bronchitis medicine, they paid Mr Hamza forty eight million naira and he is now on his way to Indonesia to live, with his family." Alhaji who had picked up his pen to begin working let the pain drop in shock.

"They paid? Are they stupid or what?" His jaw was still dropped in shock and when Elijah nodded, he whistled out loud, "They actually paid almost fifty million naira for a fluke of a recipe? Subhanallah! You know we thought they'd be a little smarter with white people at the top but see how stupid they are?" Elijah laughed, laid another leather covered file on Alhaji's table and said,

"There's more. HP even sourced him a house to buy in Jakarta Indonesia, but we've interrupted that and now put him in a safe house also in Jakarta. So once the deal falls through, as it is supposed to, we'll swoop in and go on as planned."

Alhaji smiled at Elijah, Elijah loved to do these suspense filled cases, he liked to deal with people who thought they were smart enough. "We'll wait then, and watch. May Allah put them in our hands, because I will not let them go Scot free this time. I'll take them straight to the international courts and sue them for everything they own. They will pay for the lives for the seven children they used to chew gum the last time."

When Alhaji returned home, it was just after Asr and he had prayed at the BinD Pharmaceuticals headquarters mosque, along side several male workers. He stepped into his house, the sounds of workers going in and out greeted him.

He shook his head as he climbed the staircase to where Nadia's room would be. It was just by his own room, a door opened from his closet into a closet that opened into her room, his house was built with a woman in mind, and he bought it on a whim.

He knocked on the closet door, waited a moment before opening it. Mama Tas was whom he saw first, she was carrying a carton of what looked like a standing incense burner. The other people were unpacking clothes from their boxes into piles and sorting them unto hangers.

"Assalamualaikum Yaya Nana." He called out to his youngest aunt who was just about four years older than himself. She turned to him and smiled so wide, Alhaji thought in that moment that she was such a carbon copy of his own mother.

"Walaikum Salam my darling, you like?" She waved her hands around the room. Alhaji put his hands on his hips and looked around, nodding happily. Nadia had said she wanted her room painted in Ivory with tones of grey. The electronic shades were done in dove grey and ivory and some flecks of black.

"Looks like the vision board Maymunatu made for you, it must have stressed you out and I can't thank you enough for sparing time to do this for me. I'm grateful, Yaya." He moved closer and pecked her forehead. She patted his back and said,

"Alhamdulilah, you're finally leaving this lonely lifestyle, I used to be so worried and my husband would remind me to look at what you'd gone through and pray for you instead. Alhamdulilahi Rabbil Alamin." Alhaji raised himself and watched his aunt's animated face. She spent many nights in the hospital while his own mother was scared that he would die, she was there, making sure the nurses where doing their jobs, she was guarding him, like she had always done since he was a baby.

"Nagode Sosai, I'm grateful." He looked round the room again and next thing he knew he was being pulled to the closet on the other end of the room.

"All the remaining bags not in the Lefe, I had them put here, still in their dust bags, I asked the repairmen to board this place up, the leather of those bags doesn't need all this sun, their color will slowly fade away." She moved to another fleet of steps Alhaji was sure was for shoes and said, "We really want her to do her shoe shopping herself, with your own money, so I left this bare."

They re-entered the room and suddenly Alhaji was very grateful for all the help he had received, all he had to do was she'll out sums of money, determine colors and all was done tastefully. He pulled his aunt closer and hugged her to himself again, this time she didn't let go of him.

As they watched the skyline outside the window go to evening with streaks of red and orange, with some purple, Mama Tas came and informed them that they had finished hanging the clothes. Alhaji watched his aunt jump up, literally, go to the closet and check before clasping her hands in excitement.

He got up and checked it, not understanding why rows of clothes was exciting his aunt. He looked at her, and she said, "You know how I've always wanted to do this but my boys have refused to marry, even Na'im, I'm using this to test my skills." Alhaji refused to answer her, only rubbing a hand down his face and walking away.

As he walked to his office, the fact that in less than two weeks, he would be a husband put a pep in his step.
