Jaime staggers away as his father slashes at him with his sword. Romeo was calling for Jaime to run but Jaime just couldn't leave his father to become the monster he is. Jaime knew it was wrong to care about the man whom left them because of their mother but he cared anyway. 
"Father please return to Romeo and I! We miss you gravely!" Jaime yelled at his father, hoping it would bring back some part of him.
The phoenix part of his father only smirked. "My daring son Jaime." His father hissed with a sickeningly sweet tone. "I am sad to say but this is me from now on! I killed my master and obtained his powers not even your masters plus yourselves can defeat me!" 
James stalked towards his son, Jaime, when Romeo was between the two. 
"You dare harm my brother you are no father of mine!" He warned. Romeo was his in phoenix form now and he was terrifying in Jaime's mind. He knew that his brother was capable of certain things happening to people when they hurt him but Jaime didn't know he would turn into this just for his brothers. 
James found this offensive and he attacked Romeo. The two, in phoenix forms, fought against each other while Jaime just lays there. 
Belphegor runs over and slides to a stop next to Jaime while the Demon lord watches as Romeo fights his father. 
"Jaime are you okay?!" Belphegor stared at him in utter shock.
"I am alright master...." Jaime tired to stand up but his legs gave out underneath him and he fell against Belphegor. Belphegor holds Jaime carefully in his arms and he looks towards where Romeo and James were fighting. 
Jaime looks over as well and he wished he wasn't weak to help his brother fight against his father.
