This is shorter than the first book but it is valued. This book 2 means alot to me and I'd appreciate any support I got or will get.

"Since Cara is planned to go into foaling in the morning are you staying and watching her, Jay?"
I hesitated trying to find out how to respond. If I go home I could risk not seeing my mre give birth...but if I sleep st the barn in the loft ill be able to see and hear all that goes on. I give a slide smile and nod,my mouth slow to speak, " umm..I sleep in the loft. It gets cold up there but I can survive."

She responds quickly, "Are you really sure you want to sleep up there? In the hay? And in the cold?"

I grasp her hand as she reaches out and I shake it, agreeing that I would be fine.

Turning away a shivet comrs upon me, unsure of what to actually think about sleeping in the loft. It might not be for sleeping...but at this point I need a bird eyes view of all 4 of the mares.

Time pass.

My eyes behin to close as I am awaken by a loud neigh. It was Cara. Sliding down stairs, I pick up the phone to answer to the vet, "Hello this is the Vet office. If this is a emergency press 1. If a mare is birthing press 2. If a horse is injuried press 4. Welcome to state of the art equine vet clinic." My finger slides onto the screen and lightly presses 2. "We have located your location, Wild River Equestrian Center. We have sent 2 vets your direction." A sudden beep goes on and a noisy song starts to play. 15 minhtes "The vets have arrived."
Cara hasn't given birth to her foal but she is close. Stsnding before her the 2 vets are in the stall, there in case something happened and she need help.

Hours passed and the vet was unable to leave, all 4 mares had given birth to foals. 1 filly nd 3 colts were born. Cara had a filly and the others had a colt.

Thank God for the beauties he has left us.
