Heads turned as soon as Harriel walked in behind Bimbo carrying boxes. Harriel was a junior students but was still very popular in the school as she was a model.
She was also Faidat's and Farouq's school daughter which made people think she was also a royal but neither of the trio said anything about it. So they all remained rumors.
Bimbo quickly collected the boxes from Harriel and placed them on her bed. She waved to the younger girl as the latter attempted to leave.
"Wait!" Bimbo said as she quickly opened her locker and brought out a box from chocolate. She turned to the latter and gave it to her.
"There's no need" Harriel said waving her hands and Bimbo smiled as she grabbed her hands and stuffed the box in her hand.
"I want you to have it. Thank you for helping me" Bimbo said as Harriel wore a small smile.
"Thank you Snr...... " Harriel trailed off as she realized that she didn't even know Bimbo's name.
"Bimbo" Bimbo offered as Harriel nodded.
"Thank you Snr Bimbo" Harriel said as she walked out of the dormitory. Bimbo walked to the box room and brought her box to her corner.
She opened the boxes that were filled with provisons and some other necessities and began to arrange them inside her box. The school had canelled the mid term break in exchange of allowing the students to go home early so Bimbo wasn't surprised that her parents had brought so many things.
After arranging her things; she locked her box and returned it to the box room as she walked out of the dormitory to throw the paper boxes away.
She opened the basket and smiled knowing fully well who had cooked the food. There were about three warmers in the basket. A warmer contained rice and another contained spaghetti. The last one contained the soup and Bimbo carefully brought out the one with spaghetti and climbed her bed.
She opened her books in front of her as she opened the lid of the warmer and started eating.

"You should reward me or give me something" Farouq said as he walked beside Jeremiah who had a blank look on his face.
"Why?" Jeremiah asked as they walked towards the car park. His parents always came early and left late. His mom always claimed that was the only time she could spend with them.
"I helped your girl" Farouq said proudly as Jeremiah turned to him.
"What did you do?" Jeremiah asked as Farouq wore a smile.
"Her parents didn't come. Maybe the driver or her uncle came. Too many things and she couldn't carry them at once. She doesn't dare leave them there too so I helped her till the gate of the female hostel and asked Harriel to help her to her dormitory" Farouq replied as Jeremiah raised an eyebrow.
"Thank you" Jeremiah said softly. He knew Farouq too well after all they were friends. Farouq wasn't the type to help people unless he just wanted to. For someone like Bimbo whom he had never spoken to; he wouldn't help her but for him the latter did.
Farouq chuckled as he smiled "I feel weird when you say thank you" Farouq said as he smiled widely.
"How are you going to pay me?" Farouq asked as Jeremiah chuckled. It was rare of see him give a reaction or rather there were specific things he only reacted to.
"What do you want?" Jeremiah asked.
"Two rounds of PES" Farouq replied and Jeremiah chuckled.
"That's all?" He asked as Farouq scratched his chin slowly.
"I'll think of my other request later" Farouq said as Jeremiah nodded as he walked towards the black car parked by the side.
"Mom" Jeremiah called as he got drawn into an embrace.
"My baby. I've missed you" Mrs Adeleke said as she put Jeremiah's face in her hands.
"I missed you too Mom" Jeremiah said as he leaned forward and slapped handshakes with his dad.
"Dad" Jeremiah greeted as he sat down.
"What's up? You look good" His dad said and Jeremiah snorted.
"I always look good" Jeremiah said as Faidat and Ing burst into laughter.
The Adeleke's family was always a sight to look at on visiting days. They always came early in the morning and sometimes were always the last people to leave.
Jeremiah, Jemimah, Faidat, Sewa, Ing, Farouq and Gbenga were always with them and over time the parents had also become close friends. If any of their parents didn't come; any of them probably wouldn't feel it.
And even if any of the parents especially Faidat and Farouq's parents whose parents was a King and Queen, they rarely visited and always sent their things through the Adeleke's. They were one big family.
Gbenga's mom burst into laughter as Sewa's mom continued her story. The place had been divided into the three. The mothers who arrived later had separated themselves to talk about work and other things while the men sat down in chairs talking about the problems of the country. The Adeleke's being the youngest either laughed or talked in between.
The girls and the boys were chattering away as Farouq and Jeremiah were playing PES on the laptop.
"And that's that" Jeremiah said as he winked at Farouq who had lost twice.
"I know I can't beat you. I'm just training with you" Farouq confessed and Sewa burst into laughter.
"Guy you lieeeee. E dey pain youuuuu" Sewa said as everyone burst into laughter.
"Sewa what's wrong with you nah? What if its paining me? Must you loud it?" Farouq asked as they burst into laughter again.
"Honesty is the best policy. No dey disguise" Sewa replied as the girls burst into laughter again.
"And you will choke. Allah" Farouq said as Sewa burst into laughter again.
"Big Mommy, is there still chicken?" Sewa asked as Gbenga's mom nodded and pointed towards the boot.
"There's still some in the warmer" she said as she turned to enjoy the women's discussion.
"Its food that will kill you. Foodie oshi" Faidat said as she walked after and placed chicken and soup on her plate.
"Ema wo werey. You are calling me a foodie and you are taking chicken for yourself as well" Sewa said as the girls burst into laughter again.
Sewa sat cross legged as she bit into the chicken and tore a chunk out as she stared eating while Gbenga shook his head.
"Someone cannot even take this kind of person on a date. Embarrassment ehn" Gbenga said as everyone burst into laughter.
"Snr Gbenga how do you know that I will embarrass someone if someone takes me on a date? Take me on a date and damn! You won't regret it. I've got some crazy table manners yunno" Sewa said changing her tone at the last statement as the place echoed with laughter.
"Girl, where you will start embarrassing someone is when we order for food. When the guy is like see this fine girl and you order everything on their menu. Not because you want to drain his pocket but because you love food. The guy go fleee" Ing said as everyone burst into laughter again.
"In summary" Sewa started as she chewed on the bones in her mouth.
"Food is bae"
