“Damn Soobin, you live in a mansion!"

“Not as of now tho?” Soobin laughs because he’s currently living in their other house where is much closer to his school. “I bet yours are bigger,” Soobin added.

“I don’t really know since I don’t measure it,” Beomgyu joked in his straight face and Soobin just chuckles.

“Mrs. Choi! We’re here!”

“Oh my! Beomgyu and Soobin, welcome!”

They started greeting each other and Soobin’s dad acknowledge Beomgyu right away because he knows his father and how great he is in business. Beomgyu who knows how to deal with such conversation made Soobin’s dad like him even more.

“Mom, we’ll just go out for a bike!” Soobin ask for permission— more of inform his mom because they are already riding the bike.

Since Soobin has only one, Beomgyu’s driving and Soobin’s at the back enjoying the ride. “Ansan’s such a cool place,” Beomgyu commented while looking around.

“I have my favorite part in here!” Soobin excitedly exclaimed.

“Should we go in there?” Beomgyu suggested.

“I don’t want too,” Soobin answered that made Beomgyu chuckles. “Let’s just go to my old school, I miss it somehow,” Soobin stated.

“Okay! Tell me where I should go,” Beomgyu agreed.

It’s Saturday so there are no much student inside the school. The guards don’t allow studens to enter the school if it’s just unnecessary but of course, Soobin made it inside despite of being an outsider already. He knows the guard for sure or he just really has the power to do whatever he wants if he’s in his hometown.

“It’s not that big as us,” Beomgyu commented while looking around and they are walking on the field.

“Yeah, us is the central high school in the area so it’s really bigger,” Soobin agreed and they take a seat at one of the bench.

“What did you missed in here?” Beomgyu asked his friend.

“Everything,” Soobin answered, voice is low. “But I just can’t go back in here because I run away,” Soobin added.

“Can you tell me a story about you in here? I’m curious,” Beomgyu questioned again.

“It’s not about me but about this student... He’s really kind, he’s so pure and he’s a man with principle. He’s not this student that you will notice right away— aside from he’s short, he doesn’t standout that much but he excels in everything and has so much friends,” Soobin started, looking at the dusty front field of the school.

“He must be a good student then,” Beomgyu commented.

“Yeah he really is. He’s such a good guy and all. He can’t stand seeing students getting bullied. Whenever he sees bullying, he’ll report it to the teachers or threaten the bully. Sometimes he’ll get beaten up instead but he never fights back and his reason is so hilariously true,” Soobin continued.

“What is it?”

“He has this principle that says, “Those who fight with fists are people who ignores the truth and neglects the fact that they are defeated.” He always wants to settle things with peace talks because he believes that communicating and understanding the situation is the best way to end a fight. Isn’t he a fool?” Soobin chuckles and sighs.

“He’s somehow right about it but people should really fist fight at times to defend themselves,” Beomgyu stated. “But he’s so cool and kind because of that mindset, it’s just that it’s not applicable to everything.”

“Yeah, he’s so kind and I hate him so much because of it.”

“H-huh? Are you his friend?”

“I hate him for the fact that he’s kind and even if he’s already bleeding and all, he will still try to talk things out. Even if he almost collapsed, he will still try to understand things and just forgive the bullies. I really hate him for protecting others when he couldn’t even protect himself and you know what I hate the most other than that?”

“What is it?”

“The fact that I just watched him while experiencing those. I just observed everything from afar. I just stare at him and didn’t do anything. I-I’m a bad person, right?”

Beomgyu looked at Soobin and he saw how Soobin’s lips shakes and he bit it to keep it with him. Even his eyes are in teary state already. Tears are about to fall any minute and Beomgyu knows that he’s just stopping them.

Beomgyu didn’t reply anything and just hugged the other. He rubs his back and gently taps it. “You aren’t, Soobin. I don’t know the whole story and I know that it’s not the whole story yet,” Beomgyu comforts him.

Soobin just bit his lower lip as his tears finally falls. He grabs Beomgyu’s hem of his shirt. It’s true, Soobin has so much more inside that he couldn’t tell to others. Soobin has the whole story to what really happened between him and the other guy that made him transfer another school.

But he can’t just let it all out. He can’t yet. He’s still in pain.

“Since you tell me secret, I’m going to tell you one too,” Beomgyu thought of something to lift up Soobin’s mood.

Soobin let go of him and simple wipes his tears. “W-what is it?”

“Taehyun and I are fuck buddies,” Beomgyu stated.

“What the… fuck!? Taehyun— what?” Soobin exclaimed.

Beomgyu laughs because it is effective, Soobin’s expression quickly changed and he’s now interested. “Yep, we are! It started as a mistake but it happened again and again but I don’t like him— romantically. I just adore his body and all since he’s good at bed but we don’t like each other,” Beomgyu explained.

“I-is that even possible— wait! I can’t process it!” Soobin panicked a bit and closed his eyes for second. “I just thought Taehyun and you have a thing but you don’t like each other? Why? And Hueningkai likes Taehyun, right?”

“Yep! Hueningkai likes him it’s just that Yeonjun doesn’t want to. As for Taehyun, I don’t know who he really likes since we don’t really talk about it,” Beomgyu answered.

“Oh,” Soobin reacted and nods. “How about you? Who do you like?”

Beomgyu smiles and look at the empty field in front of them. “I don’t know yet? I’m just waiting for that person. As of now that person is busy so I’ll just wait patiently,” Beomgyu replied being secretive.

Soobin just nods. “Don’t worry! If it’s for you it won’t pass!” Soobin cheered his friend.

Beomgyu laughs at Soobin’s expression. “And you? You like someone— no, do you like Yeonjun?”

Soobin was taken aback by Beomgyu’s question. He never thought he’s going to like Yeonjun. In fact, he hates him so much because he’s treating him as a dog.

“I hate him so much. He slaps me, kick me, hit me, punch me, strangle me and everything,” Soobin paused and sighs. “But at the same time he protects me, he saves me, he smiles at me, and he unlocked the door for me.”

“Unlocked the door? What do you mean by that?”

“It’s something I’m the only one who can understand,” Soobin smiles for a second. “But I still hate. I really do and you know,” Soobin looked at Beomgyu. “You know he’s kind of familiar. Like I already saw him before but I just don’t know where,” Soobin continued.

“Maybe you really did before,” Beomgyu replied. “But whatever you are feeling for Yeonjun, it’s valid and it’s fine. But please don’t be blind, he’s really hurting you so don’t come near him already and the fact that you’re just letting him do that,” Beomgyu stated.

“I'm not sure... Why does it feel like we should get even closer?”

A/N: To heads up everyone, Yeonbin will continue hurting each other as the story goes by. They will fight and fight and will really have a huge fight soon, can be both physically and emotionally. Soobin’s monster is about to get awaken *loud evil laughs* kidding... but just be ready.
