A day had passed since Naira's death anniversary, and Akshu-Arohi both hadn't acknowledged anything about the letter. Both Abhimanyu and Neil knew that Arohi had written Akshara a letter pretending to be Naira, just the way Sirat used to write, making Akshara happy, but none of the sisters said anything to each other.

Everything with two sisters was the most complicated thing ever.

Akshara was reading a latest paper written on the Harappan civilisation while Abhimanyu was passing the time watching 'Emily in Paris' on Netflix.

"Abhiiiiii, can you lower the goddamn volume?" Akshara questioned, annoyed at the volume of the songs which were playing in the episodes.

"But Akshu, the songs explain the mood!" Abhimanyu replied and Akshara rolled her eyes.

"Emily in Paris isn't that deep Abhi"

"It is" he replied, rewinding.

"Ughhh, you're so annoying" Akshara groaned.

"So are you" Abhimanyu replied quickly, intentionally munching on chips, and all Akshu could hear was the crunching.

"Abhi-"

Before she could complete it, the two heard a commotion from the passage.

"Abb kya hogaya is paagalkhaane mein?" (Now what did happen in this zoo?) Abhimanyu muttered under his breath and Akshara glared at him.

Abhimanyu opened the door to see Arohi and Neil bickering about something.

"Akshu, not always, but whenever, it is always the younger ones" Abhimanyu remarked and Akshara laughed.

"Should we say something?" Akshara whispered.

"Yes. Definitely." Abhimanyu replied and stepped outside, nearing the couple.

"Jeeeez, get a room" he stated loudly and the two became silent.

"Bhaiyya, tell your saali sahiba to return my diary!" Neil complained like a kid, prompting Arohi to laugh loudly.

"What?" Abhimanyu asked.

"Tell her to return my diary."

"Wait, Arohi you have Neil's diary? The blue one?"

"Yesss!" Arohi replied and Akshara was confused.

"What diary?"

"Akshu, it is the diary in which Mr.-"

"Doctor. I am doctor, bhai" Neil interrupted, trying to change the course of the conversation.

"Nah, you weren't a doctor then. Akshu, so as I was saying, this is Neil's diary in which he has written five letters to Khushi Raizada, professing his unlimited love for her!" Abhimanyu informed Akshara, who burst into laughter with Arohi and Neil's face turned into a bright red shade.

"Awww, Neil you're blushing" Arohi cooed, pinching his cheek.

"Get away, man" Neil grumbled in a low voice, clearly unhappy.

"Arohi, we have to read this" Abhimanyu said and Arohi nodded.

"Definitely"

"Yessss" Akshara cheered and Neil sighed, giving up.

"Fine, whatever."

"Oh wow, even Neil is in!" Akshu cheered and the four made way to Neil and Arohi's bedroom.

"Dear Khushi,
We talked in second standard for the first time when Manisha teacher had asked you to help me with my notes as my arm was hurt. You are so kind for helping me.

Now, we are in fifth standard, and you are very beautiful, and your smile is so sweet. Will you be my girl best friend? Will you help with homework? Even I will help you.

Yours,
Neil"

Akshara, Arohi and Abhimanyu were rolling as they laughed, clutching on their stomachs.

"You are very beautiful Akshara" Abhimanyu said between his laughs.

"And your smile is very sweet Abhi" Akshara replied, as she tried to control her laughter.

"Awww Neil, why didn't you ever write me a letter?" Arohi said, pinching Neil's cheek as she stopped laughing. Neil had turned red with embarrassment.

"But Neil, what did Khushi say? Or did she freak out because a boy asked her to be best friends?" Akshara asked with curiosity.

"I never gave it to her bhabhi" Neil muttered.

"Some stories are meant to be incomplete" Abhimanyu remarked with a sigh, as he laid down, keeping his head in Akshara's lap.

"By the way, are you still in touch with Khushi Raizada?" Arohi asked.

"No, in sixth standard, I was put in the B division while she was out in the C division, so we never talked again" Neil said with a shrug.

"Oh"

"By the way, Abhi bhai, what were you talking about incomplete stories?" Neil questioned, squinting his eyes for dramatic reasons.

"The only story in my life is the one which started with Akshara, and it's a 'they lived happily ever after' one, okay? I have seen my friends crying over other girls, so yeah..."

"Come on Abhi, you never had a crush on anyone in school?" Akshara asked.

"Nope. Did you?" Abhimanyu asked, curious to know.

"You are lying, Dr. Birla. Also, yes. I had a crush on this guy like every other normal person" Akshara replied.

"Wait really? I never knew" Arohi said, surprised. When she had liked a guy for the first time, she had rushed to Akshara to tell her.

"Uhm...I just, I was to scared to admit it" Akshara replied nervously as tension built up in the room.

"Oh, I see"

"Sooooo, bhabhi. Who was it?" Neil asked, trying to go back to the original topic. Firstly, he didn't want any awkwardness between the two sisters and secondly, he didn't want to be the only person talking about his first crush and getting embarrassed.

"Rohit. He was in my tenth standard class, and used to sit two benches ahead of me. He was a very sweet guy, we didn't talk much though" Akshara said.

"Rohit...as in Rohit Bhatt? My boxing class friend?" Arohi asked, shocked at Akshu's revelation.

"Uh, yeah"

"Wow." Arohi replied. She wasn't going to tell Akshara that Rohit had actually confessed to Arohi about liking her elder sister and Arohi giving him a warning about staying away from Akshu. At least not in front of Abhimanyu.

"Okay, so two down. Now Arohi, it's your turn" Abhimanyu said.

"Okay...there was this boy, a year elder in my school- Aakash. We were in the same play for the annual function in our school. He always used to smile at me" Akshara smiled as she remembered a seventh grader Arohi asking Akshara about boys and crushes.

At all times, Akshara wished that she and her sister could communicate freely again, like the olden times.
