"C'mon vishakha! None of our classmates are interested in physics lecture. Adi and Yuvi are going to cafe, let's accompany them", an excited as well as irritated Bela spoke.

Bela Sharma : A flirty girl, changes boy everyday, Loyalty? Not her thing. But a loving friend.

"In short Class bunking right?,," Vish spoke after continuous plea from Bela.

" Whatever " Bela replied with a small grin.

"Bela but.."

"Oh please vishakha, just tell me are you even understanding a bit? Don't tell me yes because I know you aren't!" Bela interrupted Vish.

"You're right for the first time! I appreciate!" Vishakha spoke sarcastically.

"So you're coming?" Bela asked

"Be..." Vish was about to reply but Bela interrupted.

"Oh thank you so much vishakha. I love you " Bela spoke while hugging her.

"Drama queen" Vish said with a smile .

Bela smiled too then yuvi, adi, Vish, bela, manage to escape from the class.
While they were joined by Anu, and Shaan from another class.

"I think all the handsome boys in this world are busy now. I can't see any of my type" Bela said looking here and there at the cafe.

"Stop this bela, you spend half of your day with your one day bf and rest grooming other boys" Anu said.

"😒" Bela reacted to her statement.

"He is also here" yuvi spoke while looking at another direction.
"It has been a long time since I saw him, girls excuse me please, I got to see one of my friend after long, I'll be back meeting him" Yuvi said looking at the girls as ADI and shaan were busy discussing something

"Is he a guy?" Bela asked raising her
eyebrows up.

"Off course" yuvi replied back.

"Introduce him to us as well, aren't we your friends?" Bela said with a pout.

Yuvi sighed,

"What should I do with you Bela" but then he smiled too after delivering the above statement

"Indeed Mahir!" Bela mumble but he was heard by mahir and that has been the time when mahir fell in love with her.

"Hi bro" Shaan and Adi hugged him while the girls preferred handshake.

But Mahir's eyes were still on Bela. While Bela was already gazing him.

"Ahm ahm" Shaan coughed to grab his attention when he realised that Mahir isn't hugging him back.

"Ya. Hello" Mahir replied.

"Hi Mr. Handsome" Bela spoke when everyone was done with their handshakes and hugs. She was going to hug him but mahir raised his hand for a handshake. Bela smirked and shook her hand.

All of them except bela spent time chit-chatting with mahir asking about his well being, family, studies etc, and they got to know that mahir will be a student, in their university for last semester.While Bela was drooling him like anything. Mahir felt an intense gaze on himself but he ignored.

"Guys we should leave now. Its already 4:00." ADI spoke .

All left not before bidding bye to mahir.
Bela left too after hugging mahir. Both felt a current down their spine, Bela couldn't take this and she backed off.
"Meet you tomorrow in the class hottie." She spoke and left not before kissing his right cheek.

Days passed in the college. Bela likes to flirt with him while mahir has already developed feeling for Bela but wasn't able to accept a flirty girl as her love.

One day--

Shaan - hey guys.. let's party tonight. It's been long since we've gone for a sleepless night.

Mahir : not a bad idea.

Bela : yah let's party tonight.

Vish : at my place. Mom dad are out for a marriage function at Delhi. I'm all alone.

Anu : superb.

All agreed for a party at vish's place.

"No! No! No" Bela screamed . "I won't do this dare" Bela continued as she wasn't ready to complete the dare given by Anu, while the party was on.

"You've to kiss Yuvi" Anu replied back.

"Like seriously? I've gotta kiss this nerd?" Bela said with an eww face.

"Neither I want to waste my first kiss" yuvi replied back

"Drop this guys, I'm bored by this game." Mahir said.

"That's what I am saying let's drop this." Bela said.

"Guys I'm tired too. Let's go back home" Yuvi said

"I think someone is very much tired" vish said looking at Adi who has already passed off due to excess consummation of Alcohol.

All laughed.

"Let's go back." Anu said.

"Guys wait. It's already 3:00 and tomorrow is Sunday. Why don't you guys stay at my home?" Vish asked them.

"Nice idea" Mahir said., Or else mom is gonna ask me 1000 questions if she finds me returning back this late." He continued.

"Ok then, let's head towards bedroom." Anu said.

"It seems you are too impatient to be in bed with me?" Shaan said while Anu just raised her eyebrows.

Shaan and Anu are already in relationship.

"Yah I'm too impatient but you've gotta wait. We still hv time" Anu said winking.

"Stop this drama, take this quilts and pillows make a bed here for yourselves and we are going in the room" Vishakha said to the boys.

"Fine" yuvi replied.

Everything was set till Bela intentionally drop coffee at mahir's shirt while watching movie.

Mahir just looked at her with a "what you've done?" Face

"I'm extremely sorry, I didn't do it intentionally, come I'll help you cleaning this" Bela said to which Mahir agreed and then everyone was again involved in the movie.

Both went to washroom

"Remove that"  Bela said when she saw mahir cleaning the stain on his pants. (I think you all guessed what did she meant😌)

"What?' mahir asked shocked.

"I am talking about stain. What did you thought?" Bela covered up the topic

" Nothing" mahir replied pissed off.

"Let's join them" mahir said to Bela.

Bela encircled her hands on his neck and pulled him more towards her.

"We'll join them later, Mr.hottie. Till then why don't you spend some time with me?" Bela said in a seducing tone.

Mahir's anger was on a peak. He was already pissed off because of the coffee chaos and now this! He has been tolerating Bela since the day he came but now this wasn't in his control. He jerked off her hands from his neck and screamed at her.

"Enough is enough bela! Why dont you understand? I don't like these things! I've been tolerating you since the day I've joined the university. Can't you understand one is trying to make a decent distance from you but you are hell bent on pissing him off. But now it's unbearable. Have you ever seen yourself in a mirror? How disgusting you look in these kinds of clothes.? Look at your friends Vish, Anu aren't they girls? But they know their limits but you..!! You just know how to stick with a guy like a fevicol.
Disgusting!!"

Mahir blurted out everything in anger to Bela and left the place

"Vish I need to go home. Kuhu called me saying that mom came to know I'm not at home and she is restless" Mahir lied so as to leave the place as soon as possible .

"Oh ok.." Vish didn't even complete when mahir left the house.

"Vishakha, Suhani called me saying that she isn't fine, I need to go." Bela too lied and left the place.

BeHir reached their respective home.

"You told you will stay at vish's place tonight then what was the need to leave her house this late?" Suhani asked Bela when she opened the gate

"I was not feeling well, Can you make a strong coffee for me please?" Bela pleaded.

"Sure first go and get fresh." Suhani replied back.

"Hmm" Bela headed towards her room, took her stuffs and went inside the washrooms for a cold shower.

"Have you ever looked yourself in a mirror? How disgusting you look in these clothes?"

"Look at your friends, vish and Anu, Aren't they girls? But they know their limits"

"Disgusting you are"

She sighed and opened her eyes. She had her bath. After which she had the coffee prepared for her by Suhani and then she drifted off to sleep.

Mahir came out from the washroom drying his semi wet hairs with towel and sat on the bed. As soon as he laid down, he got few same flashbacks as Bela.

"Have you ever looked yourself in a mirror? How disgusting you look in these clothes?"

"Look at your friends, vish and Anu, Aren't they girls? But they know their limits"

"Disgusting you are"

"I shouldn't have said like this to her, she must be hurt. I'll apologize her tomorrow." Mahir thought and closed her eyes.

"No Vish I just have a little headache. I won't go you guys carry on" Bela denied the chance to join her friends for a day in a beach, knowing that mahir will surely go.

"Okh then" Vish said and disconnect  the call.

"What did she say?" Mahir asked eagerly.

"She said she isn't well so she won't join us" Vish answered to which mahir sighed sadly.

"I've gotta some work, I won't go too" saying this mahir left the place.

"What is happening with this two?" Anu presented her thoughts to all present there.

"I think they've fought" Vish replied.

"Why should we spoil our Sunday for their fight? Let's go" Shaan said being impatient to spend some time with Anu..

All left

Mahir's pov

"Is she really unwell? Or she doesn't want to be with me? You've insulted her too much mahir. I should call her and apologize. (He raised his phone to dial Bela's no.) But I don't have her no.
How am I going to call her? Should I ask Vish for her no.? No! She will definitely judge things wrong. It's better to wait a day more, I'll apologize her tomorrow when she'll come to the university. It's better.!

(And the rest of the day passed with Mahir being in guilt.)

"Vish where is bela?" Mahir asked when vishakha entered the university. He has been waiting for bela since an hour and when now he found vish entering alone he got more curious.

"She called me saying that exams are nearing so she needs to cover up her syllabus., Her attendance is good so far so she'll stay at home for her studies" vish said

"Ohk then" mahir was again sad.

The day in the university was not good for mahir. He was lost somewhere all the time. He rushed outside when he heard the bell and directly headed towards bela's house in his black car

"Good evening suhani" Mahir spoke when suhani opened the door

"Good evening. You..?" Suhani replied back as she has never met mahir before and wasn't able to recognise him.

"Mahir. Bela's class fellow" Mahir replied back.

"Oh bela is upstairs." Suhani said. "Is anything wrong?" She continued

"No! Nothing is wrong. I am late admission and i need to ask her few things regarding the internal exam we have next week. " He lied when he understood that bela hasn't shared anything with suhani yet
"Vishakha and others have gone for a movie so i just came here" he continued as he somewhere knew that suhani is gonna ask her about them too but it was reality. Vish and others are gone for a movie !

"Ohk you go I'll bring a coffee for you both" suhani said.

Mahir smiled and rushed towards bela's room.

Mahir entered Bela's room and the thing he saw ached his heart . Bela was sitting in her study table writing in her notebook with spectacles on. She  was wearing a scarf round her neck, a full sleaved top, and a long skirt. Mahir was feeling himself guilt for this. He was cursing himself that if he haven't said these words to bela, she would have been the same one back. Bela's eyes fell on mahir. She immediately got up making more distance from him.

Bela : oh mahir. Come!

She invited him like a way as if nothing happened.

Mahir : hello bela

He spoke as he wasn't able to find a topic to start

Bela : come inside.

She said with a smile.

Bela : what will you like to have?

Mahir : bela I need to talk to you about something please sit here.

He said indicating a sit close to him on bed. But bela sat with a one hand distance away from him. Mahir frowned in guilt.

Mahir : bela.. bela I'm sorry.

Bela : for what mahir?

Mahir : stop this bela. You're behaving as if nothing happened.

Bela : what happened mahir?

Mahir : bela (he said while moving a little forward to her but she moved back) look you stepped back. Earlier you weren't like that. The time I've insulted you..

Bela : oh so you are still stuck up to that? C'mon mahir that wasn't a big deal.

Mahir : are you serious bela? I've just use such bad words.

Bela : (she got up from the bed and went towards her study table, and began arranging her notebooks) I'm now use to it mahir. You weren't the one who've said those things to me. Many have said. That's the reason now it doesn't affect me that much.

Mahir : (holding her shoulders) but my words affect you. Otherwise you could have been the same bela i know.
Why did it affect you?

Bela : (avoiding eye contact) I've no reason. (Somewhere in her heart she knew the reason that she is in love with mahir but didn't tell him)

Mahir : bela look at me once please. Bela you can do anything you want but please don't vanish away like this. You know how much I was tensed I can't afford a single day without you bela

Bela looked at him.

Mahir : pleasee...

Bela : I should say sorry mahir. I was just trying to tease you

Mahir : you are sorry?

Bela : yesss.

Mahir : so you are sorry, I am sorry, everybody is sorry so let's end this topic. Friends again?

Bela smiled at his antics.

Both shook hands.

Mahir : I think you should bring her back

Bela : whom? (Confused)

Mahir : The old bela.!!

Saying this he removed her scarf, and her specs. Both could feel the moment.

Mahir : I like the way you are Bela , I don't know what happened to me that day I just blurted all the shit ....

He didn't even complete when  Bela hugged him. Mahir tightened the grip

Mahir : I like you Bela from the very first day (still in hug)

Bela : the feeling is mutual (she smiled.)

Suhani entered with a coffee and she immediately turned back seeing behir in a hug. Both broke the hug seeing suhani standing

Suhani : so mahir wanted to discuss biology? ( She said smirking) sorry to disturb you both but take this coffee and then carry on with your classes.

Both blushed.

Days passed Bela mahir grew closer. They have even made a private place in library where they use to spend their so called QUALITY TIME.  Both have feelings for each other and it was clearly visible with their actions. Bela was no more like the one before. She now make a decent distance from other boys and her dressing sense even change a bit. All thanks to mahir😌

One day

It was Freshers and after behir's performance mahir literally dragged Bela out of the hall and blindfold her and only God knows where did he took her.

Bela : mahir for how long I've to be like this. Open this black cloth from my eyes.

Mahir : just a minute dear. (After a minute or two) open your eyes Bela.

Bela opened her eyes to find her standing infront of all the students. She turned around and saw mahir at her back

Bela : mahir this....

Mahir : shhh.. let me speak bela. It has been long I've fell for you but I wasn't ready to admit my love for you. I realized it after the chaos we had. I realised that I can't live without you. Each moment I was dying in a guilt that I've got you tears. I want to sought out these things for life long.

Bela was standing there numb listening to his confession.

Mahir : Bela will you be my assignment partner

Bela : which assignment mahir? We don't have any now..(confused)

Mahir : a life long assignment Bela.

Saying this he got down in his knees and took out a ring and forwarded towards her

Mahir : will you be my partner for LOVE ASSIGNMENT?

Bela understood what did he mean.

Bela : mahir.. this ... Of course it's a yes !!

Mahir was overwhelmed . He slide the ring on her finger. He stood up.

Mahir : I love you Bela

Bela : I love you too.

All start hooting and clapping for them, so does yuvish, Shaan-Anu, and ADI.
