This belief of our society

of putting women down

by assuming they're not sturdy enough

to take care

of themselves

on their own

makes me want to show them all

by lighting a fire so fiery

from within my bones

that it burns them alive

and I just stand there and witness

while they finally come to their senses

that

women are to be held up high

not held down

just like everyone else

who deserves a crown
