Chapter 7

Hey guys, sorry for not updating. Tbh I've been considering giving this story away because I don't feel like it's as good as the other one. Opinions? Comment below what you think. Anyways, here's a new chapter.

Reader chan POV

"Walk!" grunted an MP behind me. I rolled my eyes and scowled at them before doing as told. Apparently it was my trial right now, where the judge would decide my fate. I rolled my eyes when I walked into the courtroom and saw the MP commander smirking at me.

"Kneel!" barked the same soldier. I resisted the urge to turn around and kick in his ugly ass face, since it would get me in a worse situation.

I slowly kneeled down and sighed as my arms were wrenched behind my back and into the post that was lowered on the ground in order to keep me from standing up and lashing out at someone.

My eyes scanned everyone who was in the room. The MPs were on the right side of the room, whereas the Scouts were on the right side. I looked at my regiment and saw Levi, Hanji, and Erwin sitting in the front table.

Erwin's eyes met mine and I saw worry and anger in them. I nodded at him, meaning I was okay. Hanji seemed a bit pissed off, her hand cradling her face and Levi was sitting back against his chair, a blank expression on his face. I hope he didn't kick Eren in the face again like he did so in his first trial.

I kept looking for that familiar face. Then his crimson eyes met mine. There he was, on the bleachers, A grim expression plastered on his face, his eyes scanning mine for anything.

I cleared my throat when the judge walked in and took his seat at the front of the room. He took off his jacket, set it aside and looked at me.

"Alright, shall we begin?"

I kept a stoic expression on my face as he sighed, knowing he wouldn't get a response from me and picked up a stack of papers in front of him.

"Cadet (y/n) (l/n), part of the Scout Regiment. Trained by Commander Erwin Smith, Captain Levi Ackerman and Squad Leader Hanji Zoey. Before your training commenced, you were found in titan form is that correct?" he looked down at me from the top of his spectacles.

"Yes, sir," I responded. Damn, why does everyone have to be looking at me? I thought as I shifted on my knees a bit.

"You swore to protect humanity no matter what in the time of need, yes?" he continued.

"Yes."

"Alright. I will decide as to whether you live or die...Any objections?" Silence. No one said anything, since you'd probably get the crap beat out of you by someone next to you.

"Very well, let us proceed...you have been accused for the violation of your agreement to protect everything behind the walls without losing control of your Titan self, similarly to Cadet Eren Jaeger's case" he adjusted his spectacles. "We will allow the Military Police to show their case and provide us with evidence."

I turned to look at the MP commander.

"My name is Nile Dok, commander of the Military Police and I have evidence that will prove that the titan in the middle of the room is no ally but one of them; the ones who roam outside the walls and humanity's worst enemy," he spoke. I rolled my eyes. Give me a break, I thought.

"Very well commander, go ahead."

"Thank you, sir. The incident happened when the Colossal titan appeared behind the walls once more, right at the moment when she and the other titan were there..."

I waited patiently until he finished his so called evidence that proved I was guilty and I dragged Eren into siding with them. But something he said caught my attention.

"Therefore, we are sure that she knows more information of her species. She knows more than what she makes us believe-"

"Are you stupid or something?!" I shouted, interrupting him. "Why the hell would I know more information than I was 'oh so leading on'? You act as if I was born a titan or something!!" I shouted, I was angry. This guy was bullshitting everyone!!

"Besides-" I started but shut up when an MP marched towards me and aimed a rifle at my forehead.

"I'm afraid I'll have to shoot if you don't shut your mouth, freak," he drawled, hatred was in his blue eyes. I smirked and leaned even more into the rifle.

"Go ahead. I. Dare. You," I glared at him.

"Cadet if you shoot her, then I'm afraid you will be arrested on the spot," said the judge behind him. "Commander Nile, I thought you could control you soldiers," he sighed.

"B-but sir! She interrupted and could have transformed any moment-"

"Well she would have done so if she wasn't capable of thinking," replied the judge. I bit back a laugh as the Commander glared at the ground and sat back down.

"Now it is time for the Scout regiment to give their side of the story," he turned towards my regiment.

And Erwin did so. He told the complete truth of what happened. Well most of it. We were going to talk to the Garrison Regiment about having the rookies, Sebastian and Ciel and the others, work the canons for the day. But before we could do so, the titans barged in.

"Are any of the new soldiers here right now?" asked the judge.

"Indeed, sir. Cadet Sebastian Michaelis," called Erwin Smith. My stomach fluttered a bit when he stood up, his gaze turning from the judge's to meet mine.

"Sir?" he spoke in his calm accent.

"What is it exactly that happened?"

"Well..."he looked at my form and the corners of his lips quirked up a bit. "Before we had the chance to speak to the Garrison regiment, the titans appeared. More specifically, the Colossal titan appeared as well as the Armoured titan and created a hole through the wall. Therefore, Cadet (y/n) along with Cadet Eren, transformed and fought the armoured titan after the colossal titan disappeared into thin air."

"I see...did the armoured titan disappear as well?"

"Well they drove him out of the walls and managed to cover the hole before any titan could enter," he responded.

"What about the Military Police? If they managed to see her help the colossal and armoured titan, then they must have done something to stop her correct?"

"Of course, but the only Military Police soldiers I saw ran away from the situation," smirked Sebastian. "Which makes me question their actions. If she and Eren helped the other titans, then why didn't they attempt to cut them out of their forms and arrest them like a smart soldier would have done? Or how did the hole in the wall get covered if there was no way any amount of humans could have done such a task," he smiled.

Then it started. Chaos. The MPs were arguing and shouting at the Scouts who shouted back.

Until the judge slammed his hand on the table, making a loud banging sound that made the room go silent again. It wasn't until a minute or two later that he spoke once again, his eyes scanning the room until they eventually met my gaze.

"I have made my decision...Cadet (y/n), along with Cadet Eren are not guilty. They are innocent and, due to the amount of information given from both sides, are free to leave. Any objections? No? Case closed then," he said, gathering his papers.

I heard a few murmurs and sighs. I looked at Sebastian once more and smiled at him, he winked at me before leaning down to Ciel who whispered something to him. I looked at Commander Erwin and he smiled at me, whereas Hanji squealed and ran towards me after my shackles were removed. Hanji launched herself at me and hugged me tightly. I laughed and hugged her back, with something on my mind.

Why do the Military Police want to get rid of Eren and me so badly?

And done!! Please comment guys and if you haven't done so, read my note up top.
