Chapter 2

Reader-chan POV

"Uhhh...(y/n)?" I looked up from the documents in my hand towards Mey-Rin's voice.
"Yeah?" I called out.
"Do you think that maybe...you could help me with the straps?" I could hear the embarrassment in her voice from behind the bathroom door.
"Sure. Just open the door," I said and took a step back as she opened the door.
Met-Rin changed into our uniform: white pants, knee length brown boots, and a light pink dress shirt. Everyone had to change into a uniform to avoid attracting attention. But let's face it: with Sebastian walking around, both males and females were awestruck by him.
I admit I was a little jealous so I stuffed the uniform in his arms and pushed him inside the bathroom.
I crouched down and helped Mey-Rin adjust her straps on her legs.
"Tell me if they're too tight," I said and pulled on them, tightening them.
"That's okay, yes it is," she smiled behind her huge glasses. I smiled softly and turned when I saw Bard, Finny and Ciel walking in, saying they needed help with the straps. Tanaka was going to help with recording.
I wonder why Sebastian is taking so long...I thought he'd be the first one out...
I shrugged as I adjusted Ciel's.
"Are they supposed to be tight?" Said Ciel in annoyed tone. I looked up at him, raising my eyebrows in question.
"Do you want to break some bones and possibly die or get a couple of bruises? You pick," I said. He huffed and looked away with an angry blush on his cheeks. I smiled, knowing I was right.
Then I heard the back door open and footsteps.
I adjusted the last strap on Ciel's leg and heard a few gasps.
"Bloody hell Sebastian?! You could put the damn straps on without difficulty!?!" Asked Bard. I turned my head sideways and my eyes widened a bit, a blush creeping up my neck and settling on my cheeks.
Something made them mumble and leave behind me as I...ogled at Sebastian.
Sebastian stood tall, and proud, hands behind his back. His white pants fit him perfectly, the straps neatly in place, and a black dress shirt beneath the Survey Corps jacket. His head was more tousled than usual and his eyes had a mischievous glint on them when they locked with mine.
He looks devilishly handsome...
My gaze locked on something though.
The straps on his left leg. They weren't tight enough.
I walked up to him and adjusted the collar of his jacket.
"Well you managed to put it on correctly...for the most part..." I concluded with a smirk. Sebastian raised his eyebrows in question.
"Oh? Could you please elaborate on that?"
I trailed my hand down his chest, torso and hips, eventually resting on his left thigh, making him tense and shudder slightly. My finger hooked beneath the strap, and I raised my eyebrows.
"This shouldn't be loose," I smiled. He smiled back.
"Could you possibly tighten it for me then?" he asked in an innocent tone.
This damn demon...I thought and wrapped my other hand around the same leg and tightened the strap.
"There," I breathed out as his lips came closer to mine.
"I should thank you," he whispered, his breath hitting my lips before we both immediately pulled away when the door opened and the servants, Ciel, Erwin, Hanji and Heichou walked in.
"Sir, they're all ready to train," I said, standing straight and placing my hands behind my back.
"Good. Levi has already set up the maneuvering gear and the obstacles along with the first test of you remember?" I nodded and walked behind him as he walked towards the back part of HQ.
I inhaled through my nose, smiling at the familiar scent of pine trees and soil.
"From what I have heard from (y/n) you all have a particular skill that could help you in battle. However that won't be the only factor that will save you from beating eaten any moment from the Titans. Therefore, you will all learn how to master the ODM gear. The first step in doing so is being able to balance yourself on the harness. (Y/N)? A demonstration please?" said Erwin in front of the new recruits as I stood on the side, leaning against a tree.
"Yes, sir," I said and removed my gear, leaving the harness on.
I moved towards the poles sticking from the ground with wire hanging on the sides, hooks tied to the end of the wires.
I tapped my boot against the ground as Levi and Hanji attached the hooks to my harness. And they eventually moved to the side, where they would pull at the wire, pulling me off the ground. I've done this millions of times when I was barely getting trained.
I was not moving. I was concentrating but I let my thoughts drift away at the same time.
My arms were resting against my sides as I stood elevated above the ground.
I could feel everyone's gaze on me but I ignored it. I could hear Erwin explaining but I ignored that too. Concentrate...
Then my feet thumped against the pavement below me, Hangi and Levi removing the hooks.
"Alright who goes first?" asked Erwin, raising his bushy eyebrows in question. No one. Until Sebastian stepped forward.
"First victim," I snickered and walked beside Sebastian, helping Hanji with the hooks on his harness.
I'd say any person who didn't know him would be surprised to know he managed to do it. He was completely stiff, standing above ground in a stable position.
"Good. One down, four more to go..." smiled Erwin as Hanji and Levi brought Sebastian down.
