It's been years since we decided to walk this road together.Your hand in mine,facing the storms together.Since then the memories have merged into a continuous spectrum, the good ones and the bad ones, the vibrant ones and the melancholy ones yet I clearly remember when my heart first opened to the prospect of loving you.

Back then being woken up by nightmares in the middle of the day, cause I couldnt even imagine sleeping at night, had become a norm for me. The terror coursing through my veins ,the disorientation were all too familiar. What wasnt familiar was being woken up by a gentle, calming voice. Your soothing words dispelling my panic,lulling me into a dreamless sleep, something I believed to be impossible.
But that wasnt what made me fall in love with you.
It was you putting the blanket over me as i drifted into another realm, gently kissing my forehead when you thought I was asleep and saying ,
"I will be right here, when you wake up."
