### Chapter Fourteen: A Delicate Request
The mansion had become a place of unexpected comfort for Hana, but as she settled into her new routine, an ordinary, yet significant challenge arose. Hana had just begun her menstrual cycle, a natural occurrence that she had always managed with a sense of normalcy in her previous life. However, in her current situation, it felt awkward to ask for something so personal from her captors, who had become her tentative companions.
She paced her room, feeling a mix of anxiety and embarrassment. Finally, gathering her courage, she approached Jin, who was in the library poring over some documents.
“Um, Jin?” Hana began, her voice tinged with nervousness. “I, uh, need some supplies. For... for my period.”
Jin looked up from his papers, his face flushing a deep red at the unexpected request. He cleared his throat, trying to maintain his composure. “Oh, uh, of course. I can—um—get those for you.”
Hana’s cheeks reddened even more. “I don’t want to be a bother. If you could just let me know where I might find them, I can try to—”
“No, no,” Jin interrupted, his voice slightly flustered. “I’ll take care of it. I’ll ask Namjoon to get them. He’s more familiar with these kinds of things.”
Jin quickly picked up his phone and dialed Namjoon. Hana watched as he spoke in hushed tones, his embarrassment evident. After a short conversation, Jin hung up and turned back to Hana. “Namjoon will bring them over. He’s going to call me in a bit to clarify the exact type of products you need.”
True to his word, Namjoon soon called Jin, his face appearing on the screen in a video call. Namjoon looked equally uncertain but determined to help. “Hi, Hana,” he said, his tone polite and professional. “I’m here to get the details about what you need. There are so many different brands and types, and it’s a bit confusing.”
Hana blushed deeply, feeling exposed but grateful for Namjoon’s willingness to help. “Um, I need the regular pads, not the ones for overnight or anything special. Just the normal kind,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Namjoon nodded, making notes as she spoke. “Got it. Regular pads. Anything else you need?”
Hana hesitated for a moment, then added, “If possible, could you also get some chocolate and maybe a heating pad? And if you can, some pain relief medicine too.”
Namjoon’s expression softened with understanding. “I’ll make sure to get everything. Don’t worry about it.”
After ending the call, Namjoon went out to procure the items Hana had requested. A short while later, he returned with a bag full of supplies. He knocked on Hana’s door and, upon receiving her invitation to enter, came in carrying the package.
Hana greeted him with a grateful smile. “Thank you so much, Namjoon,” she said, her cheeks still flushed from the earlier conversation. “I really appreciate it.”
Namjoon returned her smile, though he still looked a bit embarrassed. “No problem at all. Here’s everything you asked for—pads, chocolate, pain relief medicine, and a heating pad.” He placed the items on a nearby table.
Hana took the bag and looked through its contents, her eyes widening slightly at the thoughtful assortment. “This is perfect. Thank you again.”
Namjoon gave a small nod. “If you need anything else, don’t hesitate to ask. We want to make sure you’re comfortable.”
As Namjoon left the room, Hana took a moment to appreciate his and Jin’s efforts. Their kindness, despite the awkwardness of the situation, made her feel cared for in a way she hadn’t expected. She carefully unpacked the items, feeling a sense of relief and gratitude.
With everything in place, Hana headed to the bathroom to take care of her needs. She took a moment to reflect on how her relationship with the boys had evolved. What had begun as a situation fraught with tension and uncertainty had transformed into one of unexpected care and support. Each interaction, no matter how small, was helping to build a sense of trust and warmth that was beginning to blur the lines between captor and companion.
As she finished up, Hana felt a renewed sense of appreciation for the boys who had shown her such unexpected kindness. Their willingness to support her through something as personal as her menstrual cycle was a testament to the growing bond she was forming with them.
Returning to her room, Hana set up the heating pad and made herself comfortable with the chocolate and pain relief medicine at hand. As she settled in, she couldn’t help but smile, feeling more at ease with her situation and more connected to the boys who had, despite everything, become an integral part of her life.
The evening was spent in quiet reflection, Hana’s thoughts drifting to the growing affection and camaraderie she felt towards the boys. The awkwardness of the day had only strengthened her resolve to embrace the new reality she was facing, finding comfort and connection in the most unexpected of places.
