Ch 1. A Not So Famous Shoto Todoroki

Emonekochan26 is my friend who asked me to write this. Thanks gurl!

(Y/N)'s POV

I sat impatiently waiting for episode 1 to air. Several recurring actors from other shows, but one character had an unfamiliar name, and my god.. he's so gorgeous! I couldn't find anything on him, I googled, I binged.. I just couldn't find him! It irritated me, I needed to know more about this 'Shoto Todoroki'. Upon the episode starting I stared intently at my screen, and nearly fainted seeing him.
"Shoto!!" I giggled happily, my roommate, (friends name(r/n)) staring at me weirdly.
"What are you? 5?"

"20! Screw off!" I sang back, moving happily to the intro music.

~timeskip like 2 weeks lol~

I stared at the poster in my hands, then looked up at (r/n) who was smiling at me. "You gonna go meet that new guy?" I jumped up and down and hugged her tightly.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you for showing me this! Oh what am I gonna wear? What am I gonna say? Is he gonna be nice? An asshole? Is his hair color really that? Are those contacts?" My heart raced a mile a minute as I wondered. I quickly grabbed her hand and towed her to my room full speed. "I only have half a week to plan! Just half! Help me find clothes!!" (r/n) rolled her eyes, opening my closet.

"You're hopeless. He's never gonna acknowledge you." I pouted at her words.

"That's why you're gonna choose my clothes! You're fabulous at fashion!" I ran around the apartment throwing stuff left and right. "Oh! I gotta call the boss man!" I quickly grabbed out my phone and dialed, telling him I'd take my vacation leave and when. After hanging up I started to pack.
"I might need to get a hotel cause it's a bit far from here…" I mumbled, hand on my chin.

"Yeeaahhh. It's been booked already." I cocked my head to the side.

"You shouldn't have!" I squealed.

"It's an early birthday gift to you." She sighed. "You get me amazing gifts and I thought I should give you one finally." I hugged (r/n) tightly. She's so strict with money, it made me feel special. Smiling brightly I calmed down and made my way to the kitchen to make us food. I hummed stirring the food, and made our plates.

“I’m so grateful to have you bestie.” She gave me a proud smile.

“And I’m grateful to have your food.” I laughed, as she dug into her food, soon after I followed suit. We laughed and talked about how I needed to take tons of pictures and stuff. She’d teased me and I’d kick her lightly.

~Day one of the con~

My heart was beating out of my chest as I paced the hotel room, wondering how I’d meet him. He’d totally be bombarded with fans! I whined a bit as I tried to figure out how I’d even introduce myself. Sighing, I sat down and put on my shoes. “It’ll be okay.” I told myself and took a deep breath, pushing my door open with new resolve. I was going to get his autograph no matter what. Marching down the road I got closer to the building and my nerves started fluctuating. I can't do it…. Look at that line of people! Before I even made it to the line the doors opened and people rushed in. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. “Now or never!” As I walked in my eyes scanned the room. The line of actors from various shows lined the walls, and my eyes caught glimpse of the duel haired male and my heart stopped. He was even more beautiful in person! My legs moved me towards his stall on their own and halfway there I realized he didn’t have a line at all. His eyes looked up from the book he had laying in front of him and I flushed crimson. “H-hi… Oh my god… Shoto…” I couldn’t form a sentence and I wanted to scream and squeal, yet shy away. He let out a deep sigh, that brought me back to reality as I jumped a bit.

“What do you want?” His cold demeanor shocked me a some as I realized he didn’t seem to pleased to even be here. I gulped and shakely held out a drawing I did of him.

“W-will you sign this?” His face gave all indications that he so didn’t want to sign it, yet he pulled it from my grasp and scribbled his name down in the corner. I watched his eyes flick over the drawing and soften before he looked back up at me.
“Go.” He shooed me away, after sliding the picture back. I hurriedly put it in my bag as he went back to reading. It hurt, being treated like that… I scurried away before he could look up. Maybe he was just acting like his character would? Yeah.. that’s it… As I went around and got other actors to sign other drawings of mine, I periodically looked back and noticed no one was approaching him.

“Oh wow! Your drawing is so nice!” A cheery voice in front of me spoke, causing me to look back at Midoriya.

“O-oh.. thanks…”

“Who’s this for?” He grinned, turning the drawing over to sign the back.

“Uh… (Y/N)...” I whispered. He signed ‘Great job (Y/N)! Izuku Midoriya’ on the back with a small heart. I giggled some, having his reaction being the best I got. As he handed it back he smiled.

“Hey, don’t worry about him. He’s not the nicest person.” He whispered, carrying on with the next person as I moved out of the way. Thinking about his words I looked back over and decided that, well, I had nothing to lose. I calmed my nerves as I made my way over to him.

“You’re back? What do you want?” He scowled, his eyes never leaving the book.

“Well… You’re not well known! I want to get to know you.” I stated, putting up the best confident facade I could.

“No.” He deadpanned and looked up, shooing me away again. I pouted and decided to take a nearby chair and sit near the stall.

“What book are you reading?” Shoto took a deep aggravated sigh.

“Why does it matter?” He shot back.

“Maybe I’ve read it.” I grinned. “Then we can talk about it, since it appears you’re almost finished reading it.” I cautiously sat my bag between my legs, staring at him till I got an answer.

“You’re really annoying.” He grumbled, lifting the book for me to see.

“Oh! (book) is my favorite!” I laughed softly. He hasn’t called security over… so far, so good.. I sighed, and decided to let him finish the book while I pulled out my sketch book. I smiled, sitting in my own world as the pencil drifted over the paper as if it was floating. I peeked up from time to time, catching him smile at the book fondly and instantly adding it into the picture. As I was adding finishing touches, I heard someone clear their throat and looked up to see Shoto looking at me with a raised brow, causing me to squeal in shock and hold the drawing to my chest. His expression hardened on the sketch book.

“What were you drawing?” I waved my hand dismissively and quickly shut the book with a light thump and shoved it into my bag.

“Looks like you're done reading…!” I tried to change the subject quickly. He nodded and ran his hand down the spine of the book, I looked to the side at the oddly sexualization that I just watched. If he was nicer people would totally be all over him…

“I quite enjoy reading. I’m able to be grounded to the world, yet lifted into the clouds.” I smiled as he disclosed the bit of information. I felt special, as if he told me a secret. I doubted he even realized how it felt, or that he was.

“What was your favorite part?” I asked shyly, scared he'll realize what he was doing and stop.

“I have a few, like (favorite part).” As he told me I started to bounce in my seat happily. Upon stopping I gulped trying to contain my excitement, failing miserably.

“I adore that part!” The burst of excitement in my voice caused me to cover my mouth as others looked around at me and gave me a ‘shhh’ look, Shoto included. “W-what about (second favorite)?” I whispered, looking down in shameful embarrassment.

“That was indeed a good part, it enhances the book greatly.” I smiled looking down.

“Yeah…” I whispered, standing. “I’m gonna go get lunch or whatever…” I excused myself, hearing him sigh in relief. Walking to the door I loosely held my bag. So much for getting to know him...
